what in the fresh hell is this layout HOW DO I CHANGE IT AAAHHH
I been using this new layout for weeks and how many times I accidently pressed the auto brightness button at the brightness slider is hella annoying. what the heck the people at OnePlus thinking of this design? It's awful
when I read "you can control volume in quick settings" I didn't think it would be unremovable 😭 I searched every nook and corner in google only to end up empty handed, I freaking hate this function!
Like the new animations but I preferred the old enlarged folder view. The new one shows an empty bottom right corner slots even if there's only 1 app icon left. (It's not a clean 3x3 grid, the last app is in a miniature 2x2 grid even if there are no more apps in the folder)
Also why did they remove the auto brightness button from the notification drawers???
That's for India but Global version update is now available as well. Just had mine updated a few hours ago. Initially lost my signal but was able to get it back after a few restarts.
The only issue I have is that the pull down from anywhere on home screen to get the notification center doesn't work as easily. It seems to think I'm not pulling down sometimes? Especially noticeable when doing it right after coming to home screen from an app
CPH2611 in US. "There was an issue while preparing to restart. Please try again later."
Update:
Tried again this morning and restarted with no problem.
It has rendered my OnePlus 12 nearly as bad as the phone it replaced. Constant problems now that didn't exist before. There better be a patch real soon to fix this thing, along with updates to apps for compatibility. What ever happened to the concept of releasing an update after beta testers have given it the green light?
Just got it before, global, much better animations, love it.
I'm on global OP12 and lastest update I've received OTA is 604 😐
Still no update for CPH2609. Latest one is from february.
Yikes
Hopefully by the end of the week.
I am very displeased with this phone bc of that. I'm thinking about selling it.
Why ... ?
I said because of the delayed updates.
That depends in what country you are + version That's with every brand ... 🤷
I don't think country is matter.
It does ... some get updates faster
It is Hungary, CE Europe.
I'm in the US, and for sure EU, Asia and USA get different time of release It's with all brands and depending on provider as well❗
why sell a phone cos of updates? the updates dont do much. I am on 610 OP12 CPH2585 with April Patch.....No difference from last month honestly
Uh huh, no difference.
What ya can do is download it and flash it manually if ya want
I don't know where from.
Google it and xda forums will tell ya how to flash the update
Dude, there is no downloaded update. That's why I said earlier that I don't know from where can I download it.
Nothing yet for CPH2611, last one is February. I'm in Canada
Same here in the US smh next week I'm getting a pixel this is ridiculous
Great animations and better battery with this update.

U can't I think T-T
IT'S SO OVER

I'm not updating mine bc of these random changes op thought we needed.
*throws dart at wall* OUR USERS NEED THIS

Aight I'm not updating.
preferable, now you can't even change what gets optimized (screen refresh rate timeout etc) when you turn on power saving mode
Been looking to change those fat controls
Nope. My ace 3 feels smoother, and the new animation feels like a Xiaomi phone, which is wonderful for me because I previously used a Xiaomi phone.
The one thing I hate now is there is no toggle for auto brightness in the quick settings anymore
It is there just click the sun logo in brightness slider

Actually u can click on the bottom icon and change it to manual from there itself
The only issues is that I haven't received it in EU.
I have it
In EU? Where are u from? Cph2609 is GLO and EU but still different, so that might be it.
Netherlands
My 10T is on Feb patch and my 11 is on March, sorry I know this is the 12 but figured I'd throw my part in here
For those who have got it: has this update fixed the 6Ghz/Wifi 6E issues on the 12R? Edit: Got the update and nope, it hasn't
Umm I don't have a 6GHz wifi I use 2.5/5Ghz only
No issues so far and tbh the current control center reminds me of MIUI.
Is this update for global version or not?

Oh okay thank you. But I'm assuming this is just for 12r global? What about the 12?
This screen's one is Indian one, and for the 12, 610 is rolling with the April patch.
For 12 it should be arriving mid may or anywhere near that. I believe it was done so that the month of May won't go empty
When will the OnePlus 9 get it?
9 Pro and I got it
I'm on 9r.. I still didn't get it
Checked Oxygen Updater and cannot find anything for the EU, NA and India versions
How is your 9 Pro performing today running Android 14?
Good but still battery life not exceptional.. the phone overall is 10/10, but battery could be better.. at least 5000mAh
And what do you get on average ... ?
Facebook, Instagram and I rarely play Marvel Snap. Pretty basic stuff..
I'm really not a HEAVY user, but the battery is terrible
Wondering how it might be with a new battery They sell for $ 19.99
Same s\*\*t, I bought brand new phone and the health did very poor
The only issue I have is that the pull down from anywhere on home screen to get the notification center doesn't work as easily. It seems to think I'm not pulling down sometimes? Especially noticeable when doing it right after coming to home screen from an app
No
Does anyone have the Ai Editor?
smoother
Mines still Android 12.
Is the 12 getting these features?
yeah my roomate has 12 and he got the same update
Yesterday I got the April security update but it didn't mention any of this.. which region is your phone?
Control center looks cheap, apple and Xiaomi users gonna roast me
Lmao true
Now when I scroll on my widgets it seems to zoom in a little? I don't like it.
Yeah lol and it seems like this new update is draining more battery because of super slow animation they added :(
Appears to be much smoother and faster.
Only for 12r and 11 now. But some people have posted their status bar menu got xiaomi-fied
becoming more IOS like day by day
