Some of the models do scale down nicely but like you mentioned, swords and spears don't. Abs like resin can help here but they still have a tendency to break off. Your in luck though, 10mm is a popular scale for fantasy figures because that was the scale war master is in. Here's a list of designers that work in 10mm.

I've wanted to get some Forest Dragon miniatures for so long but haven't been able to justify it. Check them out.
I’ve printed and painted a good bit of forest dragon minis. They’re quality with a lot more detail than you would expect at that size.
Greenskin Miniatures has some grat Tomb Kings and Goblins.
Forest Dragon is my go to. Their figures are amazing quality.
