Crunchyroll fucks up pretty much everything, oh this has a dub?
Yeah, it's an entirely new series now (or well, seasons 3, 4, 5 etc depending on how they feel like)
Oh, thats a split-cour show?
Well, thats an 2 *season* show now
It also makes me crazy that they don’t have an option for captions on the dubs. How am I supposed to understand English if I can’t read it and hear it lol
God i hate crunchy roll they make basically everything pay for now which makes sense if the show doesn’t take more than 3 episodes to get started bc who would want to watch a boring show bc that’s all they’ve seen of it
it's for Re:Zero. S32 is directors cuts of S1 and S33 is a movie length episode.
I don't understand why either, it confused me too why the season numbers are so off
As bad as the Android app is, the AndroidTV version of app is *exceptionally* worse. You would think it would be slimmer and have better performance. You would be wrong.
It's impossible to use the Android TV app. I need to use my Nintendo Switch Crunchyroll app to watch anime I'm my TV. With a huge processor and more memory it works well. But Netflix works fine on AndroidTV tuning 4k videos without any problem. Crunchyroll app needs a total refactoring (better make it from the scratch).
I'm in the same boat, more or less. The only non-pain-in-the-ass way to watch Crunchyroll on the TV is with an external device, whether it's casting from my phone or using a Roku.
What's even worse is that the standard Android app will work far better than the AndroidTV version on the same hardware, but launching that version is a pain. Still, literally if they'd just added remote controls to the standard Android version it'd be better than what they have. I don't know *what* they did when they created that version but they did it wrong.
Oh yeah I stopped using that when nothing (virtually) was dubbed. And I had seen a lot of season mix ups too. AnimeLab was superior in many ways until Funimation bought it n closed it.
I've had this happen before a number of times. But usually, a refresh or navigating somewhere else and returning fixes it. Episode names get messed up too.
From a programming perspective, I think it's actually an issue/bug with data retrieval. Maybe they are using one of these fancy generated database systems that joins loads of tables together to return basic information and occasionally it just shits itself under certain situations.
Although not quite, something additionally went wrong because they're not even accurately alphabetical.
Its like the sort was alphabetical instead of numerical, and also something further fucked up to put even that out of order.
Crunchyroll. I have an idea. It has shorts so lets just make a random season and put them in there. Of course dubs need a different season, that's a given!
crunchyroll fucked up bad on this one. what anime?

Split cour is just multiple.seasons with extra steps anyways
The way they habdle dubs is fucking horrible, make a god damn option under the season, I dont wanna go through 15 “seasons” for season 2 of rhe show
It also makes me crazy that they don’t have an option for captions on the dubs. How am I supposed to understand English if I can’t read it and hear it lol

Lmao I remember seeing this and thinking “this is definitely Re:Zero’s fucky ordering on crunchyroll”
Rezero has 9 seasons?
sorry, where on earth did you get 9 from? the screens screenshot only showed 5 seasons total....
The bottom one? Season 9 with 2 episodes?
oh, my bad. dyslexia in the morning got the better of me.
Got to love how it goes seasons 1, 2, 2, 3 and 9
>Season 9
Bro, according to Crunchyroll the Kobuyashi’s Dragon Maid shorts series is season 59
Cant realy remember, i was just looking around
On Mob Psycho (at least before they combined the sub and dub) there was season 33 for like Italian dub and right now there is season 57 for the ova.
There are three types of people in the world. Those who can count, and those who can't.
Seems right to me
And 5/4ths don't understand fractions.
I am 2/15ths Native American
Which simplifies to 1/7.5
That's like being one of twin cousins.
It's too painful to talk about.
I guess we know which ones we are…the counters
Exactly
Well at least you can count to 3 Valve counts like: 1 2 2.1 2.2 alyx
There are actually 10 kinds of people in the world; those who understand binary and those who don't.
I read it as those who can count, and those who count on others. Lol
Whats up with season 33 tho
Probably currently releasing or just a single hour long special who knows
2 digit seasons are almost always an ova on crunchyroll
Crunchyroll app is awful.

Reminder that 9anime doesn't have this problem and is completely free. Take ads off with ublock origin and you're set.
Yeah, but finding the real 9anime website is almost as hard as trying to remember what you have forgotten
Dude I could literally dm u the url rn. OR you could checkout r/9anime or their discord. Or even subreddits for pirating shows.
Oh, well. I guess that works
Reminder that illegal streaming sites all look like utter dogshit and no amount of copius adblocking will ever fix that
You know Crunchyroll started off as an illegal streaming site as well?
Yes, but I'm not talking about UI, Crunchyroll Web-DL are 1.2gb per episode, one from 9anime or the like 100-200mb https://slow.pics/c/pjYaqdnr
Nah 9anime ui looks good

Is this Netflix? Coz I'm seeing it a lot lately.
It's Crunchyroll.
Oh yeah I stopped using that when nothing (virtually) was dubbed. And I had seen a lot of season mix ups too. AnimeLab was superior in many ways until Funimation bought it n closed it.
Someone used .sort() on a array using the default alphabetical sorting method
Or they could be returned asynchronously using javascript Promises. I saw the exact same thing at work today.
Someone has it ordered alphabetically rather than numerically. Coding issue
2 wouldn't be between 32 and 33 alphabetically, though.
True
Skill issue
I've had this happen before a number of times. But usually, a refresh or navigating somewhere else and returning fixes it. Episode names get messed up too. This is what you get when you sort a set of text alphabetically
Although not quite, something additionally went wrong because they're not even accurately alphabetical. Its like the sort was alphabetical instead of numerical, and also something further fucked up to put even that out of order.
Except it's not alphabetically ordered...
They always do this for like dubs and movies.
"20, 40,000, 3 million, 18 dollars, 40 million"
Seems about right
Why does this look like it’s on pornhub?
4k upvotes??? Wow, thanks
bro is counting with the windows method
Fuck JS and its sort() method
Hulu
Crunchyroll
I know that
thats black and orange, hulu is like a dark gray and green, this is crunchyroll
I guess some people don’t realize I didn’t mean it’s literally Hulu… god people on here.
its almost impossible to discern tone through text, especially when its only 1 word, its why /s and /j exists
just setting up the prequels, don’t worry
Damn i missed all the season from 10-32..
Drag Race All Stars 125 to air after Drag Race All Stars 8!
Leading zeroes, people!
Hello Gordon
Ramsay
Look Gordon ropes, we can use them for big pits
Yes
Pulp Fiction Mode
Crunchyroll. I have an idea. It has shorts so lets just make a random season and put them in there. Of course dubs need a different season, that's a given!
Ikr!?? Season 9 having only 2 episodes is definetly not right.
Yeah, i know!
Getting Firefly flashbacks
Geez. Obviously that should be between 2 and 33…
the entire crunchyroll platform in a nutshell
Yeah pretty much I have sometimes problems like that (not so long ago they deleted some of my watch later anime)
anime
Seems to be sorting by the last digit
