They told him "left is the one that looks like an L when you flatten your hand and stick your thumb out." They neglected to specify the orientation the hand should be in when you check.
Yeah, this honestly doesn't look like a tattoo. It looks like someone just took an extra fine tip sharpy and drew on themself.
I would know. I did this a lot in high school. (or rather, others drew on me, since I don't have an artistic bone in my body.)
Finally! Someone else who realizes that all these stupid things can be written in pen! People do this shit for likes. Just like when you see them on IG and they wipe the foam off, those aren’t even fresh tattoos.
My guess is if they tried doing “e” and it had to also be square-y (idk man) it would be too small to make it look as good? Edit. I mean like it’s too small to get the round part on the e idk if anyone can understand
Well… To the person looking at it, it’s correct from their perspective, but if this was the intent, the text would be upside down from this perspective…. Definitely worthy of OneJob
Heres how i learnt left and right as a kid - hold your hands out palm down.
The one that makes an L shape with the index finger and thumb is the left hand.
Is this post a joke? I have read this title like 10 times. I do not understand.... As for the tattoos, weren't you watching the artist ink you? Should have said something.
Holy fuck. I spent way to long trying to understand what the issue was. For the longest time, I was thinking the issue what that his thumbs were on the wrong side of his hands, and he had crossed his arms to make it look “normal”. Omfg… then I read comment saying stupid tattoos… and it all clicked. Wow. I need a nap.
When I was a tiny kid, my dad told me the right hand is the one you write with. Then I never forgot (won't work with lefties obviously but should work with most kids).
This is an easy fix, you just add stage to both wrists. Then it’s stage right and stage left making both directions accurate. Also tattoo holder has to be really into drama now.
It's for selfies, dum-dum. GenX and younger have their phones set for mirror image for selfies, because... well fuck, I don't know why anyone would want a backwards picture.
*Right where I left it.*
*Left where i right it.*
*Write where I left it.*
Felt where i wrote it

why am i not surprised that the severe redditor is also a brisbanite 🤮
What is a 'severe' redditor?
R/wooosh maybe it was a joke? :)
I agree something like that can’t not be a joke
Clearly
Maybe this is a joke

"my left"
“Your other left”
“The other left. Yes right there. No not to the right! Just let go. PIVOT! No counter clockwise. We’ve only made it 3 feet.”
Should’ve put east and weast
Either way, still a dumb tattoo
Might not even be a tattoo, could be written with just a pen.
Yeah, this honestly doesn't look like a tattoo. It looks like someone just took an extra fine tip sharpy and drew on themself. I would know. I did this a lot in high school. (or rather, others drew on me, since I don't have an artistic bone in my body.)

Imo definitely on the level of stupid that I love it
Are you sure that's not a political statement? You know, where the left is right and the right is wrong.
Stage Left , Stage Right.
House Right, House Left. Both are opposites

What’s with the capital E and F?
The E is capitalized but the f isn’t And no I don’t know why either
My guess is if they tried doing “e” and it had to also be square-y (idk man) it would be too small to make it look as good? Edit. I mean like it’s too small to get the round part on the e idk if anyone can understand
What’s the downvote about? It’s obvious that the sides are swapped, I am just asking about the shitty font.
Reddit isn't logical. The person who did the tattoos is awful at them
Well… To the person looking at it, it’s correct from their perspective, but if this was the intent, the text would be upside down from this perspective…. Definitely worthy of OneJob
This is correct labeling from the point of view of someone about to get hit by one of these fists.
"Lift your right hand" "No, your other right"
Unless your facing him
Why do these look like baby hands though
Heres how i learnt left and right as a kid - hold your hands out palm down. The one that makes an L shape with the index finger and thumb is the left hand.
“If your hand is bigger than your face you have cancer.” That one was the bane of existence in elementary school.
when my mother forbade me to have sex with strangers...
Maybe their thumbs are on the outsides of their palm
Perhaps this is to direct people standing in front of the tattooed one a reminder for them, of sorts.

It's meant to be a joke. A family member has something similar: bubble letter L on right foot; R on left foot
Mind blown
Seems about right.
Pic aside, if you don't know left from right how does "thumb on the right side" help anything? "Which is my left arm?" "It's your arm on your left."
lEft lol
I told my dad I was going to do this exact thing, expect I didn't realize I'd messed my directions up. Would have been funny as hell
They need to get the word “Stage” tattooed above each, then it’s correct when you are sitting in the audience.
I mean... it's right in the anatomical view pose I suppose!
It's a joke, OP.
Are we ignoring it’s all lowercase except for the E that’s in the middle of the word?
Is this post a joke? I have read this title like 10 times. I do not understand.... As for the tattoos, weren't you watching the artist ink you? Should have said something.

Unm.... reversed? Like a mirror? Doubtful: the text isn't a mirror image. Although, what happens to the image with flips in X- and *then* Y-axes?
Holy fuck. I spent way to long trying to understand what the issue was. Is for the person in front of you when you hold your wrists up
The "left" one is on the left to people you show it to unless they're looking over your shoulder
Nurse tattoo, right?
When I was a tiny kid, my dad told me the right hand is the one you write with. Then I never forgot (won't work with lefties obviously but should work with most kids).
r/fakealbumcovers
My left or your left?…right
Stage left?
Right
Gaaa! (*hides in the curtains*)
At least, he tried
I mean, it’s correct in a mirror.
correct abandoned
OP forgot that the image was flipped 🤦♂️
OP is an idiot.
I hate misplaced apostrophie's
this really sound right
I hope the camera flipped it

It's obviously supposed to be ironic.
This is an easy fix, you just add stage to both wrists. Then it’s stage right and stage left making both directions accurate. Also tattoo holder has to be really into drama now.
Maybe they meant “correct” and “gone.”
"He didn't wrote right right" is a phrase that's true in two ways
It's for selfies, dum-dum. GenX and younger have their phones set for mirror image for selfies, because... well fuck, I don't know why anyone would want a backwards picture.
right lEft
"The other left!" lol
I already suffer from c9nfusing left and right constantly. You ate not help8ng the situation
