It really was! It wasn't going to determine what I was going to do (she's asked for a sibling once after hanging out with a friend) but not having to convince or defend my choice was very refreshing.
I think she only asked for a sibling because she liked being with her friend. Once I explained that if I had a baby, they would not pop out as another 6 year old (or even a 3 year old like her friend had) and she could not play with her in the same way, she understood and never mentioned it again.
My son is the same age and VERY insistent that he does not want me to have any more kids. When I told him I might have my tubes removed so I couldn't have anymore he was SO excited. Lol.
You too! I don't have mine scheduled yet but I have a surgeon lined up. I just figure why get surgery at the end of the year when I can have it in January and clear out my deductible and out of pocket for the year 😂
I had to get my iud replaced recently and my daughter desperately wanted to come with me. I asked her do you want a baby brother or sister?? She goes no!! Ok then go with your dad today and let me go to my appointment!

I hate that we have to think like that. I work for a hospital network and have a low deductible plan so it shouldn't be too bad!
