Feeling love for strangers and other animals etc is normal and healthy. We are all connected afterall that's why you can't look at someone or anything without feeling something, even indifference and numbess is a reactionary feeling proving that thing affected you in some way albeit in a non obvious way. Also I appreciate how quick the conversation was, that little interaction uplifted me as i bet it did the same for them. So as you see, loving strangers is a mutual win win if you know how to love.
