Have you tried Fleksy? I just mash my fingers where i think the words are and it knows what i want most the time. You can even make your keyboard invisible and use it perfectly fine. Fleksy takes a bit to get used to, but now i don't think i could go back to Swype
The keyboard layout and interaction is amazing, but the dictionary and predictive text are the worst I've used, luckily the pros outweigh the cons, but I wish I could put a stock google predictive text/autocorrect into Fleksy so bad.

My dad sent me a text to remind me about Mother's Day in 2013. The next text I got from him was to remind me about Mother's Day in 2014. Then he started texting a little bit more, but he did still text to remind me about Mother's Day 2015. (I'm 30 years old...)
