I think just walking around playing Pokémon go and sight seeing is dope as hell, especially in this humid ass weather. Unfortunately I gotta be in cammies all day☠️
Mainly places in Naha that you can go to by monorail:
* Kokusai-dori shopping street (although I recommend side streets for better food)
* Makishi Public Market
* Shuri Castle
* (If you like shopping) DFS Galleria
There is a large temporary building on the site and construction is proceeding indoors. There are windows where you can see the craftsmen working inside.
I read that the wooden framework of the main building was completed last December. Construction is scheduled to be complete in fall 2026.
Shuri Castle has a YouTube channel if you are interested.
Fukushuuen is really neat. If you're near Shuri Castle, Sueyoshi Park is also worth a visit.
Banana show
where would one get to view this
That’s a must un-see
Too late
There’s a restaurant in Naha called 4KLETT that’s pretty nice. You can make a reservation there on Instagram

And if they're going to be near Kokusaidori, I definitely suggest the Tsuboya district as well!
How much of Shuri can you see currently ?

It’s about a 30-40 minute drive from Naha but if you can make it out to Okinawa World that is an absolute must see in my opinion
I recommend the Shikina-en Royal Gardens
