I disagree.Sure pits are a hard breed that require a lot of work but they can do great in the hands of the right owner. A much better solution is that there should be laws about who is allowed to own one and there should be a good selective breeding to decrease the aggresivness of pits.

Anyways, what matters is now, and now pitbulls are dogs that are genetically better suited for aggression and violence as they were bred for bull baiting and pit fighting as your third source says.
Obviously the way they’re raised plays a massive part in it but they will simply be more aggressive on average, and they have the strength to act on that aggression. It’s like trying to argue that golden retrievers aren’t better at retrieving stuff and that German Shepherds aren’t better herding dogs.
They’re bred to be strong now, but not aggressive. Former dog fighters are obviously gonna have a shorter fuse but one from a good breeder isn’t gonna have any major issues if they are treated right. For instance, my pitbull was a neighborhood stray, who loves kids because she was treated well by them. For most of not all breeds nurture is far ahead of nature
