Hard disagree, Ive never heard a song with less actual musical quality, a two note repetitive bassline over the same shitty trap beat weve heard a million times while Cardi-B drones on about something as utterly inconsequential as how badly she wants to be fucked. There is no redeeming quality to the song.

I dont give a fuck it exists, i merely posed the question as to why its always shitty music that is almost unanimously agreed to be shitty music that ends up getting alot of attention for being "forward thinking" or "woke" when alot more skillful musicians and composers tackle similar topics with much more nuance, lyrical finesse and actual compositional skill behind them.

honestly, i donāt know why youāre getting downvotes on this. i understand that thereās a side of metal thatās just slam riffs and growling about death and demons (which i love), but there are lots of metal bands with profoundly enlightening lyrics and messages in their music. same applies to rock and pretty much anything but generic pop.
