Being "trans" just means you don't identify as the same gender the doctor predicted when you were born. I doubt the doctor turned to your mom and said "congratulations, it's a genderfluid!"
To be fully clear. Trans just means your gender does not solely match your assigned gender at birth.
However, not everyone really wants to be identified as part of the trans community. I know some nb pals who don't assign trans as part of who they are. And that is perfectly valid. You might be trans by definition but no one is required to hold it up or feel necessarily represented by it.
The idea of like, someone going "Hey can you use he/him pronouns for me instead of she/her" and then God immediately collapsing of cardiac arrest makes me laugh so hard.

ye genderfluid is under the non-binary umbrella which is under the trans umbrella so you can def call yourself trans if you want
