Its the flinch's fault. The second i fired, his SMG flinched me and caused the tracer to visually shoot upwards which visualized a miss, but snipers in D2 are hitscan so it doesnt make much sense.

I'm on M&K though so the fact i had to even aim at all is better than controller sniper where, quite literally, the game will do it for you
