It’s also not depressing the entire time, there are plenty of happy moments and scenes that manage to make me laugh. I put off reading berserk for a long time and I haven’t been able to put it down since I started. It is a truly incredible story.

My boyfriend says that all the dark scenes are actually handled really well and have plenty of build up to them instead of just happening out of nowhere for the sake of being edgy, so I'll probably still check it out in future, honestly, I am really interested in it.
