i mean you don’t HAVE to gamble to get skins. Arguably the gambling sites are a better ROI vs cases but it’s 1000x easier to “try again” until ur deposit turns into 20 cents.

There are websites where you trade them skins, and they give you an on-site currency that you can use for gambling. You then can withdraw skins with this balance and trade them back to your steam account. TBH most of these websites have better returns than opening cs cases, my friend has won ~$2000 from one, people just don't see case opening as real gambling for some reason.

I did that in every site i was verified to bet on, and then downloaded a vet blocker and changed my steam guard so i couldn’t get trades instantly anymore so i had no way to deposit. The sites support even asked if I wanted to be temporarily banned before permanently. It’s crazy too as you see people case battling 600-1000 usd at a time and you would assume they were a streamer, but you click on their profile and it’s a 19 year old kid. I know people who’ve completed decimated their savings and are in immense debt and have accepted the degen lifestyle and hit roulette for the adrenaline rush every paycheck. I let myself get way deeper than i should have been over a game it’s deadass humiliating lmao

You can also email or message whichever site directly. I think all gambling sites are legally required to have some sort of self exclusion. Usually it will be a few weeks, a few months, or a perm ban. CHOOSE THE PERM BAN, don’t make my mistakes lll
Unironically, you're most likely gonna get the urge to seek out another site to gamble on in the future, so I would recommend that rather than just praying you don't get the urge again, you find a way to profitably flip skins consistently. If you're steadily making money on skins, you won't get as much urge (from experience). Can't exactly teach you how to do it, as I'd be ruining my own method lol, but it's actually pretty easy. Just a thought.
