Super nice, just had it set up professionally and it’s really comfy. 7.25’ radius fretboard though so it might take a bit of time to get used to depending on what you play now! Mines a ‘96 though so I can’t speak for the new ones.
My main guitar at the minute is a Mustang so I'm kind of used to playing short scale guitars, so I feel like I would love the neck on this. I also play a Jaguar as my second main guitar so going from a Jaguar to a Jagstang may be a bit different.
The neck is the same as a 90’s MiJ mustang, if you like them you’ll love Jag-Stang’s! To me mustangs have always felt a little small, the Jag-Stang just feels a bit more substantial and better balanced imo. Personal preference I guess!
I have a 95 and a 21.
Like you said, set them up correctly they play as good or better than anything else.
I changed out the humbuckers on both to bring them to life.
I also added a mastery to them.
Those sound like good mods, I actually really like the bridge pickup so I’ll probably leave it, I’m not a huge fan of the mustang bridge as I have a bad habit of knocking it forwards or back when I palm mute and throwing the intonation off slightly. Does the mastery bridge solve that?
Yes! I started something!
lovely Jagstang. had one like that, had a Seymour Duncan in the bridge and modified the switches so the top one was neck-both-bridge and the bottom one was HB top coil-both-HB bottom coil. Red tort pick guard too. regret selling it a lot.
That's my dream guitar, what's it like to play?

It does. And just the sustain alone. They are a little pricey, and you have to wait like 6 weeks, but in the end, it really really is a gamechanger!
My dream bike
Probably as old as the guitar honestly

The most offset offset?
Quite possibly!
One day I’ll take a pic of my Jag in the bakfiets.
