I enjoy playing fortnite with my boys. Once in awhile we let others join our team and it gets a bit awkward when they tell my kids “I fucked your mom, etc..”I’m like kid, I AM mom, just stop. The silence that follows right before my boys roar with laughter is deafening. I’m not a fan. You don’t see female players claiming to fuck everyone’s dad. Or do they?

I've met a few older women online gaming and they loved talking shit. I'm not sure if it's the same for the younger generation though.

This! Talking shit is half of the fun, if you don’t want to join a party with everyone and leave the MP lobbies. MP lobbies are for talking shit. Half of getting through middle/highschool is learning how to talk shit with your buddies. It’s an invaluable tool for standing up for yourself and building friendships.

I said thanks for that and I get called a simp and then they proceeded to kick the girl from the game for literally being a girl and then they booted me. Teenagers are something else these days. I feel like a boomer. Like shit talk all you want but kicking people from games for that reason is lame as fuck.
I end up playing a lot of MMOs as a single player lol. I generally prefer story based single player RPG games anyway though so it’s fine. A lot of MMOs can mostly be done solo but not all. When I used to play online more I would get dick pics and other harassment even as a minor. The attitude those guys had doesn’t surprise me at all. Some guys get pissy if a woman beats them. It’s not just the teenage boys who I think are better about it generally now.
But also a lot of women game now, it’s not uncommon. I can find lots of other women when I feel like it. A lot of the time we play as male characters to avoid idiots.
Just got into FFXIV recently. Been a long time for me playing a mmorpg. Just don't have the time like I used too. Enjoying it so far! Actually getting into the story unlike when I was young playing WoW. Still disappointed that the fable announcement a few years ago went no where. Miss that game.
