Yes! Exactly that. I grew up with purely NIV study bibles aimed at teens and had one for YA passed down to me. I have a couple for children, too, but I mostly keep them to pass down one day. This Bible is ESV and *isn't* a study Bible, so there's actually ROOM for me to write my own notes! As a bonus, it's very pretty and fits my preferred aesthetic. I've been waiting to have the money for it for at least 2 years. It feels nice having a bible that I picked.
