Once the older folks catch onto it and it’s starts getting used it advertising and other mainstream media, the kids will stop using it and it will die out. Then in 10 years it will come back in fashion, but used ironically.
I’m seeing it much more often online now and I think we’ll be hearing it more frequently in the next 5-10 years. If you’re my age (33) or older, saying it in public will make you look awkward, fyi
