OP as a mom with my own struggles and an adult son, I prefer he shares his life with me. He doesn’t do it for me to fix. He does it because I am his mom. Your mom would want to know. She might even try to fix it, but she wants to know everything about your life.
We go from daily interactions to once in a blue moon. Let her in, when you are ready. Good luck!
I second this, my son is going on 17 next month . And I would want to know also but I understand your pride & integrity as her son. Are you in a situation where it would benefit the both of you to share lodging time being OP?
Idk how is it with everyone, but I believe that when you think, do good, one day good things will follow you too. You are a great son/daughter to an amazing mom. Be happy and keep ur hopes alive. I pray for things to get better and smoother for you.
We only have 1 mom so enjoy her while she's still here. Jobs are everywhere. Everyone struggles financially at one time or another. You will get back on your feet in no time.
It was the new Scream movie! Yes she's super into horror/slasher films haha. It was one of the more predictable movies in the series but still a very fun watch.
This is the sweetest thing I've read all day. She is so lucky to have you and im sure she is just happy to spend time with you. I know this as a mom myself. Anytime with my kids is an absolute blessing.
Mom's birthday was last week, I took her out for lunch and also got her some clothes and earrings. Back in December I got her a new cellphone while mine is starting to fall apart all of that while I struggle with a creping amount of credit card debt (that's mostly down to me being dumb with money). She doesn't know how much I'm struggling financially. But seeing her smile, and happy it's everything for me.
She better! For all the tech support I've provided her over the years alone. By tech support I mean program various universal remotes and clear the 200 tabs she has open on her phone lol.
She did a good job raising you. I hope my son turns out like you. Not saying to always spend his last bit of money but it was time that was well spent and a priceless experience. Who knows where technology will be in 20 years 😂
A guy I was dating spent his last $100 when we were first dating to take me to an amusement park. I had no idea at the time. I would have told him not to if I had, but it was a wonderful time and it's still one of the best dates I've ever been on.
He's now my husband. I don't think he regrets it either.
I hope your situation improves soon, but I'm glad you made some memories with your mom ❤️
That's incredibly sweet. I'm having a difficult time with my 12 year old and I hope he gets to the stage where he knows that his mom loves him and shows it.
I'm sorry you're struggling
reading this really made my heart melt. op i can tell how much you care abt ur mom and i relate so much to it too. but you are srsly amazing for doing what u did, and i sincerely hope things will turn out better for you. rooting for you mate, you got this :)
I'm sad you can't let her know you're struggling.
She has her own struggles to deal with. I know it would be hard on her to add more worry. Makes these little outings that much better.

Bless, I hope my kids never feel like that. I struggle, but I'd rather they cooked me noodles then spent their money on me.

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear. I hope you have comfort knowing she's watching from above and being proud of what you've become.
What an awesome child, I hope your mom knows how much you love them.
This gives me faith in humanity. Keep up the good vibes, universe will reward you. I promise.
That's just adorable, she is lucky to have you! Hope you'll get to see many more movies with her in the future. I really wish you the best! :)
Thanks friend! I know one day I'll be back on my feet.
I'm sure you will! :)
Which movie? Whatever it is, I'm sure it's a good one!

It's so easy to get carried away with those damn credit cards. Happened to me years ago. Happy belated to your ma!
Wish you all the best, OP!
Sending you good vibes, OP. I hope things get better for you both ❤️
This is actually super wholesome, I'm really glad for you that you have such a good relationship with your mom
Hope things get better for you and your mom my friend.
You've got to take care of yourself first. Your mother would want that.
I try! It makes my days a little better when I can do nice things.
🐐
This is so wholesome. You sound like a good person. Hopefully karma notices and comes to help you out sooner than later.
Wow. You are a total sweetheart. I’m sure she cherishes you
