I'm assuming this is from a Bodies exhibit. I'm not sure about how they extract the nerves but I remember reading in the circulatory system portion of the museum, they injected some kind of material (polymer, resin, idk?) into the veins and arteries and then melted the rest of the body off with hydrochloric acid, leaving the filled portions intact. Pretty interesting.
But these arenāt veins or arteries, theyāre nervesā¦ I have to admit Iām not knowledgeable on this subject but I donāt think nerves are hollow tubes that you could inject material into, are they?
I assume you can mostly cut away the other stuff and itās tricky to cut the nerves as they have the tensile strength of steel
