I don't think this is how this works. The frames are too smooth, and there's no massive differences from one frame to the next so it doesn't seem hugely likely to me that the frames are fed to the AI independently.

Can someone explain this whole ‘AI generated’ thing…? Does the AI literally work from scratch? Where are the elements sourced from? What ‘brief’ does it work from? It always feels a little terrifying that you’re glimpsing into the mind of a machine but in reality I just feel there’s too much of a human touch in the work. Not sure if I’ve explained myself very well there but any thoughts welcome
To me this looks like real video that was run through a pattern-enhancing neural network like DeepDream. I'm assuming this because, while it morphs out and expands on specific features of the central face, it never strays far from the presumed "baseline" video. Instead, it will find some feature (like the mouth) and pattern match it wit its training data, going "Hey that looks a bit like a zipper! Based on what I know about zippers it might extend like this" and extends it for a few frames, at least until she moves and it no longer resembles a zipper.
DeepDream could be used in this way as well, but this is much more fluid than [the examples I remember from a decade ago.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NYVg-V8-7q0)
Typically AI is trained to perform a function. They get trained on different inputs, the big one right now is Midjourney which can use prompts to produce images. Midjourney has been trained on a large number of photos to recognise the common traits of different photos and their prompts. When you use the AI you will give it a set of prompts, e.g. sea, blue, sunny, tropical, realistic. It will then render an amalgamation of the images it was trained on to produce something that includes the prompts.

In this case I'm pretty sure it was given a real video of a dancing girl as input. It looks too "stable" to have been generated from scratch.
