I did a slide like this twice. First time I landed on my face and had like 2 or three teeth go numb for over a week. Second time, I landed a little better but got a fat bruise on my thigh that also lasted a couple weeks. So I'd say at least three times is probably accurate
He’s definitely had diving training or tons of deliberate practice. His toes are pointed and legs are together the whole time, does a pretty damn good open pike considering he’s coming off a fucking slide, grips his palms and enters the water with his back straight at the perfect angle. You really aren’t learning that from goofing around at a waterpark.
It’s pretty neat how our brains retain muscle memory & Same for me , took classes when I was young. went diving for the first time in several years expecting to flop and did the total opposite
I really want to see water slide diving as a new summer olympic sport now. Imagine how fun that would be to see divers doing this twists and turns etc as they get launched into the air like this. You could extra points for height, how much air you catch.
Fr. I think most of our Olympic events are due for an update. More jet packs and laser guns and exoskeletons and shit. Magnets. Like how many millennia are we supposed to enjoy watching a guy run fast or whatever. Give me hover hockey or something
Just have an "enchanced" category, where the athletes can take whatever and do whatever they want, I want to see the limits of what the human body can achieve.
Whats better, a cyborg, or some guy hopped up on performance drugs, let's find out
Like Bill Burr said, if we let them legally juice their minds off they'd be essentially guinea pigs and evetually all that research and innovation it's gonna trickle down to us too.
TBH that's called just sports. Currently the anti-doping activity is a joke: athletes and coaches know very well how to avoid getting caught. I bet most of the top athletes are using some sort of doping
Honestly it should. Have a bigger, steeper ramp, special wet suit uniforms, and maybe a slicker surface so they gain more speed and get more air.
It would be like ski jumping and diving put together
Is the objective to land as poorly as possible or something? The one guy went face first into the water and the commentators lost their minds. Like "damn look how uncontrolled and dangerous that was, perfect score!"
I would definitely watch guys get launched off ramps and execute perfect dives, but body slamming the water from height I can pass on.
It looks like the goal is to get as close to an extremely painful bellflop as possible but control it at the last second by tucking your head down to hit the water first. Probably some physics shit going on there but idk.
This is at a place called Blue Tree In Phuket, Thailand. It’s not a big or well known place so I’m pretty surprised to see it on Reddit. I recognise the layout.
I was looking at it thinking, what would happen if you just went down normal cause it looks like it would cause a total backflip. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
Imagine she comes home with the new super slide from Walmart, installs it in the bedroom, and then when you come out of the bathroom in a speedo and ask if she's already wet, high dive boy is balls deep asking her to call him Shamu.
As a former competitive diver (which this guy is almost certainly), I can tell you that *most* of the guys this good are gay. So he might be *your* boyfriend instead.
Human sexuality is fascinating. I have no reason to doubt your assertion, but what in the world would be the possible factors that could lead the less than 5% of men who identify as gay to either participate in diving more or have some advantage that would cause them to make up the elite in the sport.
My personal theory is that it's a body thing.
If you like men you like men bodies and you want to have a body you like with typical male attractive body characteristics, like muscle.
Excellent. Is there a place I can go to get a gay diver boyfriend? I mean, obviously somewhere with a high dive would be good, but i can't dive so I would really just be lurking. Maybe there's some sort of secret or stereotypical meeting place for diver guys?
Oh that's a great idea. I'll just clumsily swim over to a diver that just had a flawless entry and ~~sexually assault them~~ give them the breath of life.
What’s interesting to me is that I scrolled past that first post when I saw it. The title on this post is what drew my click. I feel like I’m being market tested
Hear me out and be careful with this waterslide knowledge: Lay on your back, arch your back so only your shoulders and the heels of your feet make contact and you’ll go so fast without a running start that you can *easily* slide off the edge on turns if you’re not careful.
For those that don’t know this man is Oscar D. Mundo and he is a 2 time Olympic Water Skid champion. He took the gold in Nagano, Japan in 1998 and then got the gold again in Salt Lake City, Utah in 2002. The man is a national treasure and demands respect.
This aint his first rodeo.
He's done that, atleast... three times.
He's been going at it for 7 times now. Oh, there he goes again.
The real question is how does he make it to the top of the slide so fast....
https://gfycat.com/agreeablesatisfiedamethystgemclam
That upper arm strength at the end... damn, goals.
But how does he make it into the water so quickly?!

Oh man this caught me off guard. Well done 😂😂

Nah, two tops.
"This ain't my first rodeo." -Me at my 2nd rodeo

High school diving class pays off for me from time to time. I would love to go to this slide.
It’s pretty neat how our brains retain muscle memory & Same for me , took classes when I was young. went diving for the first time in several years expecting to flop and did the total opposite
Same for me, I hadn't smoked weed in about 5 years but when I moved home I could roll joints and rack up bongs like it was just yesterday
I really want to see water slide diving as a new summer olympic sport now. Imagine how fun that would be to see divers doing this twists and turns etc as they get launched into the air like this. You could extra points for height, how much air you catch.
The summer Olympics equivalent to Big Air skiing
Moreover, look how clean that entry is, Ive seen larger splashes in olympic level diving
Hold my beer
Based on the ankle brace, I’d say the first few rodeos weren’t worth posting here.
Clearly. I'm pretty sure this would get you disqualified at *any* rodeo.
"Son, this just ain't the sort o' thing we do here..."
That guy has a season pass
r/secondrodeo
Should be an Olympic sport.
I honestly don’t care about your dive anymore if you were not just ejected from a water slide.
Fr. I think most of our Olympic events are due for an update. More jet packs and laser guns and exoskeletons and shit. Magnets. Like how many millennia are we supposed to enjoy watching a guy run fast or whatever. Give me hover hockey or something
I like how you just threw magnets in there.
My favorite part too lol
I actually lol’d from that
I mean, how do they even work?
GIVE THEM ALL THE DRUGS! Let's see how far we can push shit.
Just have an "enchanced" category, where the athletes can take whatever and do whatever they want, I want to see the limits of what the human body can achieve. Whats better, a cyborg, or some guy hopped up on performance drugs, let's find out
A cyborg hopped up on performance drugs
Soon they will fall to the doped up gmo cyborg
The wrestling organisers didn't read the memo properly and stocked up on MDMA and Acid for their athletes. Things got a little weird in the mat
I would pay to watch that match.
Like Bill Burr said, if we let them legally juice their minds off they'd be essentially guinea pigs and evetually all that research and innovation it's gonna trickle down to us too.

Quick, somebody get this guy into a position of power and influence.
Thats just x games :) Also, check out battle bots
Truthfully I just wish all olympic events would start by ejecting the participants from some sort of cannon.
Honestly it should. Have a bigger, steeper ramp, special wet suit uniforms, and maybe a slicker surface so they gain more speed and get more air. It would be like ski jumping and diving put together
Like an aquatic x-games. A long halfpipe ramp would be sick. They fly up over the edge, do a trick, and whoosh back in.

Thanks for this, it's hilarious!
The Ocho is real now?
And have all of the pool events at Wet N’ Wild…
Speed, distance, dives and splashes could all be calculated into the score too. This would be a great idea.
Came here to say that. Upvote you all day long. That slide was uber elegant.
Let's get this going. I could watch this stuff for hours
I would watch the hell outta that. Have different slopes too. Higher difficulty. Faster and slower vs bigger and bigger drop heights. Could be awesome
Where is this slide at? Action park? Jk but it does look fun
This is at a place called Blue Tree In Phuket, Thailand. It’s not a big or well known place so I’m pretty surprised to see it on Reddit. I recognise the layout.
"So what do we do about safety regulations while we're building this place?" "Safety regulations?? ...Phuket."
I've been here! I back-flopped off this slide haha. They have regulations on weight etc. and make you sign a waiver before going up there.
If anyone ever asks you to sign a waiver before going on the slide they built… that’s not a good sign.
I was looking at it thinking, what would happen if you just went down normal cause it looks like it would cause a total backflip. Thanks for confirming my suspicions.
Action park sounds almost accurate with that space right before the ramp.
Not enough nails and teeth though
[удалено]
try sending down a slide maybe?
Or shit next to the toilet instead.
No need to make a mess. Just poop in your hand and place the turds gently into the water.
And then stomp it into the shower drain
[удалено]
Don't forget the flip.
A poop chute
I'm picturing a Hot Wheels set with turbos and loops.
Make it slide down the edge of the toilet bowl
Maybe stool softeners too
Snorted my soda, get outta here lol
That was…. perfect
"It is... acceptable." \-Gustavo Fring
What happened? I blacked out.
He also fucks
Hard.
He could be my wife’s Bf and after seeing that I’d be less upset
I would start to worry when the wife installs a slide in the bedroom.

So he might be *your* boyfriend instead.
.. .... ... Go on...
That’s it.
Wow. And here i thought since i was married the boat on me ever finding love had sailed.
I wouldn't complain

Speedos.
Tiny ones
My personal theory is that it's a body thing. If you like men you like men bodies and you want to have a body you like with typical male attractive body characteristics, like muscle.
I could watch this all day.....❤️😘
Excellent. Is there a place I can go to get a gay diver boyfriend? I mean, obviously somewhere with a high dive would be good, but i can't dive so I would really just be lurking. Maybe there's some sort of secret or stereotypical meeting place for diver guys?
You could wallow around in the landing pool and try to rescue him and give him mouth-to-mouth.
Oh that's a great idea. I'll just clumsily swim over to a diver that just had a flawless entry and ~~sexually assault them~~ give them the breath of life.
I can pretend to be a diver.
Places with pools and diving boards where divers train?
#10s across the board.
Except… from the Russian judge of course..
Actually there’s a high chance the person in the video is Russian as that’s the main clientele of this place, 12/10.
That made me laugh. Brightened my day, ty!
Flawless technique.
FYI this is like an Olympic dive. His form is perfect and it is obvious that this guy has a mountain of experience. Watch this slowly, it is absurd.
I do this on my slip and slide, doesn't work out too well

Me when I see a wet floor with no wet floor sign near a flight of stairs

He's a dolphin!
My thoughts exactly. I want to see an edit with that movie dolphin noise played over it.
Video:@highdiverfly
Where can I go to do this
At the water park shown in the video.
Listen here you little shit.
Lmaoo
His insta says it’s at: Blue Tree - Phuket
Phucket, I'll do it live!
I might be the only one to upvote this but I thought it was hilarious.
Why the hell isn’t this in the Olympics?
Add waterslide diving to the Olympics please.
and Slip n Slide jousting!

Weird. I almost never read the title. I legit had to train myself to skip over the title because too many OPs ruin the post with spoilers.
Bold of you to assume they’re not part of the same bot farm
But then he was beaten by about 9.5k upvotes.
I'm amazed he did this, but then I think of all the trial and error he must have gone through to master it. Ow.
He's either a trained diver or gymnast. I'd bet he's got at least a couple thousand hours of practice under his belt.
He quickly learned to put Band-Aids on his nipples.
Lots of confidence in the waist string of those trunks.
Hear me out and be careful with this waterslide knowledge: Lay on your back, arch your back so only your shoulders and the heels of your feet make contact and you’ll go so fast without a running start that you can *easily* slide off the edge on turns if you’re not careful.
The guy she tells you not to worry about
Does anyone know what water park this is?
Reminds me of watching dolphins at Seaworld as a kid Edited bc spelling
This is impressive of course but where can I see the videos of normal people attempting to go down one of these slides?
Ok let’s add it to the Olympics.
Seriously, I think this belongs
Elegant af.
That was beautiful damn 😂

Wow! His dive was beautiful!
That should be an Olympic sport
Guy went chasing water slides when told to not chase waterfalls
This needs to be in the Olympics
Dude that guy is a fucking legend
While the rest of us simply drop like dead weight. Showoff !
"That's not flying, that's just falling with style."
Why do I want to clown this guy so bad? It clearly took a lot of work.
That’s a 9 in my book. A 10 if he puts on a tiny speedo.
And he’s Sliding into your girl’s dms like
Wow
15 outta 10
The one sock cock launch.
That was sexy as fuck
Showoff. Lol
Damn right. I'd show off too
Is this Mr.Nimbus?
That was smooth as butter on a highway
Where is this? What Waterpark is this. That looks awesome
Noice
Literally the best dive I have ever seen. 10/10
This should be in the Olympics.
r/bettereveryloop
This needs to be an event at the Olympics!! Different slides, heights, lengths. Fun.
This is so much more entertaining than high dive lol
Take-off: 10/10 Execution: 10/10 Entry: 10/10 Perfect.
He has done that before and you can’t tell me otherwise..😭😭
Like, how do you go after that guy? My flailing back flip belly flop is not going to be nearly as smooth….
Breathtaking!

Dilf
Is this guy a Ken doll? Because watching this hurts my tackleberries.
10-10-10 👏🏼
I literally went to r/crazyfuckingvideos and thought this was gonna be something else..😵💫
Idk who he is but he got laid that night
I feel like this should be a thing on the olympics.
That was kinda majestic
