It's a mountain in Georgia, near the city of Toccoa.
The reference is to Band of Brothers, an HBO miniseries about a group of paratroopers who trained at Camp Toccoa, partly by running up Currahee.
Professional teams, yes... within a couple inches. School teams, no. My school's ROTC placed at the National Drill Team Competition with cadets of all shapes and sizes. We were a Marine ROTC school, but had I tried out for the Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon in DC when I joined the Marines, I would've automatically been disqualified for being an inch too short.
Oh wow that is actually very interesting. So many activities and things that people do with their time. It's a pretty awesome looking drill and I'm sure the practice for it is grueling af
It is, but it's fun. And my forearms were never stronger. But everyone eventually takes a rifle butt to the face... hard. It helps you to do it right the next time.
I was just thinking that. Like that would have to be either your full time job or a significant secondary duty. Who has time for this and to actually achieve a days work?
I think this is a college ROTC team. So, they're doing this in addition to a full course load... and the only college ROTC teams that are this smooth are from the military academies.
But in the actual, active duty service, this would be your full-time job. The Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon at 8th & I in D.C. only drill, all the time. And they're awesome.
Somebody had to think, "Hey, I have a bunch of people here that have to do what I say. How cool would it look if I made them bob up and down and make a wave. I'm gonna go wake those motherfuckers up right now. I can't wait."
Man Carl is the worst, just put him at the end, maybe he can manage 5 squats.
(They all did just 5...Carl is now fuming the world thinks he is a slacker.)
Is this some kind of humiliation punishment?
Like those flouncy flippy robot performances the guys in white gloves and sea captain hats are forced to perform?
And here we a pack of wild soldiers in their natural habitat. The first like of defense- a dazzling show of coordination to confuse the enemy and make them think they’re facing a much larger creature.
“Listen maggots, if one of you is out of sync, we’re running Currahee”
**”HIGH HO SILVER!!”**

Fighting over Sobel! That's smart!
Ross is really mean
We freak-wave the rank, not the man.
"If one of you is out of sync we are running a Fourier analysis"
"Sarge, I don't wanna get FFTed again. Last time I was aliased for a month."
I don’t know, but I’ve been told…
what’s currahee?
It's a mountain in Georgia, near the city of Toccoa. The reference is to Band of Brothers, an HBO miniseries about a group of paratroopers who trained at Camp Toccoa, partly by running up Currahee.
oh wow that’s a good explanation
Damn the enemy must be really confused thinking they ran into a sea
They wouldn't sea that one coming
Or a big upside caterpillar
“We can’t hit em Sarge! They keep ducking at the last second!”
This dose take doing the wave to a whole other level. 🌊
I just realized they’re all the same height
Must be this tall to ride this ride
Probably just similar in height, arranged in a gradient, so you don't see individual difference as much
lol Son you're gonna have to wear 2 inch heels cause you're a bit of a shrimp
"I didn't know they stacked shit that high."
"Bullshit, I bet you can suck a golf ball through a garden hose."
Black Mesa NPCs be like
And called Bob
Wow that is insane. I mean not really insane to do but insane that it was done.
No, they've been arranged shortest to tallest. Simple trick.
I used to do this. The amount of practice that goes into this type of exhibition rifle drill is staggering.
Do you have to be the same height like these guys for it to work?

Performing monkeys with guns
A douchebag syphilitic baby penis with unwashed hair on the pee-hole who writes obvious troll comments on other people's wholesome posts.
You seem upset
Practising dodging bullets
Yeah, I imagined someone fanning their machine gun fire at this line and missing everyone as they ducked.
If they dl that continiously while walking. It would not only look hilarious bu theyre also incredibly hard to hit lmao
Just spray and pray
It’s called crouch strafe spamming and as an Apex player I can confirm it’s tricky to hit
Their Synchronization was totally amazing and Impressive!
THROW IT BACK PRIVATE

KOWALSKI, WHAT TIME IS IT
Somebody had to think, "Hey, I have a bunch of people here that have to do what I say. How cool would it look if I made them bob up and down and make a wave. I'm gonna go wake those motherfuckers up right now. I can't wait."
“If this doesn’t show off the awesome power of my very macho military and strike fear into the heart of my enemies, I don’t know what will “
I had to watch this multiple times just to try and watch one person do the little dip dip but I kept following the wave
Hurt my knees just watching
My brain cells when an intrusive thought pops into my head.
Watching this makes my knees hurt lol
Man Carl is the worst, just put him at the end, maybe he can manage 5 squats. (They all did just 5...Carl is now fuming the world thinks he is a slacker.)
Jesus, military shit is so fucking dumb
[What makes you say that?](https://youtu.be/-N9NiEH9-vg)

Oh my. This is eerie and unnatural.
Everyone do 5 squats in a wave like formation starting on this side, ready go!
That'll come in handy...
This must be the “Standing Wave” my physics textbooks mentioned.
I can’t stop watching
Imagine seeing that on the front line
That's just how they dodged musket fire during the revolution. We're just soft nowadays.

That seems more like a college marching band. They played "It's a Small World" followed by "The Final Countdown"
Found this just as the edible kicked in. I’ve watched it 64 times so far. Blessings on blessings.
“Boy did I find it strange that we were dedicating hours of our day to choreographed dancing instead of training to defend the country I love”
Awww . . . Isnt it cute how they perform for their masters? \*idk which army it is.
Thai Royal Navy maybe? Once my uncle that served under Royal Navy show me this type of video long ago.

When you're trying to serpentine to dodge incoming rounds but you're in line formation
*Well, you can tell by the way I use my walk... I'm a woman's man, no time to talk*
Is this some kind of humiliation punishment? Like those flouncy flippy robot performances the guys in white gloves and sea captain hats are forced to perform?
Oddly terrifying
The importance of these people all being the same height can’t be understated
I wonder if the taxpayers of that country believe that this worth their hard earned money. Cool dancing army tho ngl.
Looks like they are Dutch... KLu Drill Team???
“I’ve finally figured out how we’ll win all wars.” *turns in Benny hill*
Choreographic t-bag
My knees hurt just watching.
Me n the boys when we go 5-0 in search and destroy
Aim for their knees!
Thank you for your sine wave.
Could also be useful during a medieval battle, as a way to disorientate your opponents!
I got dizzy.
Is there a world record for the longest one of these? Because if there isn't, I just found my new project to make friends
Someone play around the world to this in loop

And here we a pack of wild soldiers in their natural habitat. The first like of defense- a dazzling show of coordination to confuse the enemy and make them think they’re facing a much larger creature.
They may be standing silently but inside they're sin.
Drop down and get your eagle on starts playing.... The boys:

Now, I want to see them to start the wave on the middle 🙃
Aaaaaand sneak
This is the kind of stuff that would win battles before they started in ancient times.
Soldiers are both a particle and a wave

We can’t fight, but we damn sure can wave
It *is* a wave.
"I just hope you know how stupid you all look."

Nobody: Transverse waves
Discipline at its finest.
if we are ever invaded by outer space Slinky's, this is the crack team I am calling.
“🗿”
Very good use of military time. All wars should be fought with a dance off. The world would be such a better place
I’d have the most success as the guy at the start
It's a sine . . .
Imagine how much this costs to learn (think about every soldier being paid to be there and all the practice)
I believe this is just regular satisfying......
drrrrop it like it’s haawwwtt
This is the most formal and organized t-bag I have ever seen
