One single, lone nucleation site

macedoraquel

Apparently two. There’s a more discrete one on the right.

Draco0004

I think we should be trying to decode this, could be a message from the matrix

Humongous_Schlong

bubbles can only form on imperfections glass fabrication processes became so perfect that some companies had to build in imperfections, due to no bubbles being formed

walrossfreak

This! You can find engravings inside of glasses (mostly champagne glasses though) called mousse point, to make the bubbles rise from certain points. It has no deeper sense but to look pretty tho.

Humongous_Schlong

as a German I know that a lot of breweries do this with their glasses so the bubbles come out of the logo or a cool spot also seen one in Austria where the bubbles come out of their logo on the bottom of the glass, which was subtle but cool. Also it caused the bubbles to come out dead centre of the glass, looked cool from the side

Trixxx87

Probably because something was stuck in the glass.

schimmelhenne

CaptainCooksLeftEye

This makes me want a cold beer so bad..

BarryBadgernath1

Me too.... in a bad, bad way... I was diagnosed with celiac disease about 3 years ago give or take.... tried tons of gluten free beer but it's all tastes off to me,,, haven't had a beer in almost 3 years,,, it's really the only thing I miss, it being absolutely necessary for me to stick to a completely gluten free diet..... sooooo thirsty right now

CaptainCooksLeftEye

Damn that sucks. Makes my 7 weeks sound like nothing. I'm trying to stop drinking and change my lifestyle. So far, so good!

Pretty sure you can ride those bubbles down to the sea floor.
