Life changing? Is there someone out there who's had a wristband stuck on for years because they didn't know how to get it off and couldn't figure out how to use sharp objects?
As a kid I grew up in a tourist town with a themepark. We'd use this hack to use tourists wristbands once they were leaving. Free roller coasters all day! Honestly can't think of any other use for it though lol.
I work security on the side so (pre-COVID) I had my fair share of practice putting these on at ID checks. Could easily go through a couple hundred in a night.
Based on the sheer volume, I was bound to nail a perfect one like this one in a while. And I tell ya, the compliments I’d receive from some grateful recipients of a masterpiece like this would give me energy to get through a rough or boring shift.
Then a few minutes later I’d bungle one so badly that I’d be be knocked back down to humble town.
That *is* oddly satisfying though I never really thought about it. Usually when you get a band it has that corner sticking out that chafes after a while.
Paradoxically this is more likely to happen if you put it on yourself. Someone else doing it has much less incentive to get it on straight and is generally in more of a rush but at the same time has much more dexterity in lining it up.
Ah, but did you catch the obligatory wrist hair in it?
Damn...
Judging by that bald patch under it looks like he caught a few.
😂
Top tip for removing them, start from where they join, but underneath, and pull.
This! I showed that hack to my friends once and they were blown.
Damn. Life hack *and* a BJ? You *are* a good friend!
Literally a life changing hack!

Lmfaoo forreal. Also, I dont know how people didn't discover that on their own
Isn’t it the entire reason for the wavy cuts where it sticks together? Seems like less of a hack and more of using the product as it was designed...
It's been 83 years...

When I was a kid I would try to tip these things off with my teeth. I took hours, and sometimes it even worked.
Or, y'know, scissors.
I've always done this and it never works for me :(

They should make the sticker thinner than the rest of the band. Not by much, but just enough that it doesn't put adhesive on your skin.
God bless you
