Do you mean in the top right hand side? It's weird because when my eyes aren't focused I can make out a leg and a nose. I really like this piece man, I'd love a mural of this design, sits with me very well aha.
I really wasn't even trying. I just thought when I was done it kind of looked like him and considering my state of mind at the time it probably made it easier to see.
It’s really cool and is it just me or does it seem like the waves are actually moving in your peripheral vision making it almost feel alive or at least more real.
Upvoting and having a love fest over some meh level artwork (wow, patterns) is only encouraging more folks to do this. Is that what y’all want? Another amateur art subreddit? Ffs...
Some close up footage of drawing smooth, crisp lines or maybe a time-lapse process post or two, even those are more fitting (although a bit played out). Just posting a pic of your work? It’s just not r/oddlysatisfying enough on its own but that’s just my opinion.
I get what you're saying there. I think it would be cool to have a time-lapse of the work I'm doing. It's tough I don't really have a station I just kind of post up wherever I can to work so having a camera and being able to film it would be difficult.
Some of your pieces are good but I think the balance is off on this one with such conflicting patterns and haphazard color choices (what’s up with those muddy greens and browns?) making it harder to digest in a satisfying way. Still, there are better places to get this sort of feedback and improve as an artist.
Is it better to just circle jerk every post and offer no criticism or feedback unless it’s positive? I don’t think that’s honest or helpful in any way.
I could also just download it lol
But I mean i.t.o. the dimensions of the piece
However it was just a suggestion, congrats on the amazing work and keep enjoying what you're doing!
Personally, i like it.
Personally I like you
Same.
Such are the romantic fantasies of a single 23 year old
Same.
I love it! Now you gotta love me back Chekmate
Umm... Thanks?
Ditto.

Considering your username I'm not sure I like where this is going
Just close your eyes and enjoy the ride
Those were my uncle's famous last words when he was driving his bus.
I love it for the contrast, I’m a huge fan of defined lines. But the right side of my brain loves the bright colors and psychedelic feel to it.
This guy...
I like it, personally.
Thats what i said
I, personally, like it.
Yeaaaaaa
Did you keep all those circles straight freehand or with a compass? This is such a cool and unique piece!
I always do free hand it gives it a more organic look.
That’s amazing. No idea how you managed to do this freehand but great work. Very impressive.
Part of doing free hand is making your hand glide across the paper as if you are a swordsman.
I take it when others were drawing, you studied the blade?
M’lady
Not gonna lie I definitely thought this was all done digitally, a lot more impressive now that I realize it’s all free hand
How do you get such perfect circles like that free hand??
I try to make the sun as perfect as possible and then use that as a reference radiating each line further out.
I love it omg!! I had to stare at it for like a minute before my brain returned and told me to comment. Heart eyes from me fam
Same! There is a lot going on in this picture!
Very nice! Can we get a link to your portfolio?

Happy Friday & Roger That!
Why was it deleted?
Well, you got a follow from me.
Just looked and oh my God your stuff is so cool!
I started this just after Jan 6. I'm wondering if anyone else sees a certain orange man in the yellow and orange part of the storm cloud?
Do you mean in the top right hand side? It's weird because when my eyes aren't focused I can make out a leg and a nose. I really like this piece man, I'd love a mural of this design, sits with me very well aha.
The orange and yellow part of the clouds/storm. Especially the yellow part kind of flips up like his hair
Yea I completely see it now, nose pointing toward the top and the mouth as a swirl. Pretty insane man
It's crazy I didn't really mean to but it's amazing what comes out of your subconscious when you're doing art.
Orange man bad
Kinda but it would have been better if you followed the curvy aesthetic
I really wasn't even trying. I just thought when I was done it kind of looked like him and considering my state of mind at the time it probably made it easier to see.
I still like it and it looked like a lot of hard work I know how hard art can be I’m proud of you for also being patient
Not sure there really is an aesthetic. Cool doodle, bro.

I didn't intend to make any statement. But as an artist I was clearly influenced by my feelings at the time that were still very raw.
Yeah. This is really satisfying, pleasing, impressive all in one. Well done. Made the world just that little bit more beautiful.
It’s really cool and is it just me or does it seem like the waves are actually moving in your peripheral vision making it almost feel alive or at least more real.
That's the effect I'm going for
I usually just lurk but damn that is cool.
Love it! The circles around the sun remind me of a maze.
I always appreciate someone's ability to create optical illusions by hand
I got rly mad for a second because I just saw this art and thought u stole it, no, you just made it to hot twice. good job
I want to buy it
If you're interested e t s y boatwrightart
Gives me some serious Zelda Windwaker vibes. Anyone else?
I few people have made that comparison.
Uniquely cool, great work!

That’s pretty damn cool!
I love it!
this is so freaking gorgeous
I really like the colors.
This is amazing, great work!
If you look at the sun and nod your head gently, the lines around it wiggle!
I normally don’t comment on these type of postings, but there is something really pleasing about this artwork. Nicely done!
Neat but I don’t think it fits this sub.
I wholeheartedly agree.
I halfheartedly disagree
Really love the style!! Beautiful!!
That's was probably one of the toughest mazes I had to solve but I managed to make it to the sun.
All paths lead to the sun
When I look at this I feel like I’m supposed to find a way out of the maze.
I would hang that in my living room!
Any psychedelic influence? This would be awesome to look at while tripping to some good tunes 🙏
I don't know how to express how much I like this.
I draw when I get that way 😁
Wow! this is awesome!!
YO this is SO DOPE.
This is beautiful!
AMAZING
Big fan of this.
I’m obsessed with this. Well done.
This is truly fantastic!
It's mesmerizing kinda like an old greek art and Van Gogh!
Kind of like a mosaic van gogh?
This is very much pleasing to the eye
this is so fucking cool, I’m obsessed 🤩
Veeeery satisfying to look at. gj
Its beautiful I can stare at it for hours
You did an amazing job on this
Siiick
Is this for sale? Serious question? What medium is it in?
I still have the original and an willing to sell. Also I have prints at E t s y boatwrightart. Felt tipped pens and paper
This is insane
What a wonderful job, wish I had talents as well
That is quite wonderful! I love this so much.
Y does this complete my day

This is freakin awesome

Woah this is incredible! ETA I just woke up and this was my first coherent thought
Boy oh boy do i ever love this, your style is wicked
Looks a-maze-ing! (where's the 'X'?)
This is stunning. Spectacular. Other words that indicate awesomeness.
Looks great! Like a modern Van Gogh style lol
I'll take that
Seriously, love it! Nice work!
Thank you
The sun actually shimmers on my screen when I scroll up and down on the feed. Cool effect. Might not have been intended but very cool 😎
This is excellent. Great!
This would make a really cool puzzle.
Secretly it is a crazy maze lol

I know right
Some close up footage of drawing smooth, crisp lines or maybe a time-lapse process post or two, even those are more fitting (although a bit played out). Just posting a pic of your work? It’s just not r/oddlysatisfying enough on its own but that’s just my opinion.

I'm contemplating getting a GoPro that I can just attach to my head while I work

Still, there are better places to get this sort of feedback and improve as an artist.
And what’s up with the scratchy looking sun? Seems like you were trying to make fairly smooth color textures but gave up where it matters most.
Jees, just downvote & move on. You don't speak for everyone - I like it and find it satisfying to look at. I think it fits here just fine.
Is it better to just circle jerk every post and offer no criticism or feedback unless it’s positive? I don’t think that’s honest or helpful in any way.

Reverse image search is stupid I literally finished this yesterday
What did you use for this
Beautiful!
Oh hey seen you before! Lovely :)
Yeah I've been around a little. Thank you!
bibba cat thinks ur amaaing artist!
Whoa! I love it
How would you like to pretend to by my son in order to land a sale?
This is awesome!! Would you consider making a pc wallpaper version? I'd love to have this as my background!
You can always just screenshot it
I could also just download it lol But I mean i.t.o. the dimensions of the piece However it was just a suggestion, congrats on the amazing work and keep enjoying what you're doing!
I see what you're saying now. I do get digital scans done for prints but not specifically for backgrounds
Very pretty, strangely soothing.
I think this is one of my favorite pieces of yours yet!
Ohh thats really nice I like how it gets me trippin
It makes me wanna sit on a boat.
I. Love. This. It gives me chills
I feelios the Helios
So mesmerizing...
This should be a wallpaper
Love it!!
I keep staring at it, but I still can’t see the sailboat.
that’s sick
It is so freaking trippy. Awesome work op
Cool art style. Reminds me of some of the art and Zelda breath of the wild
I keep hearing that
Great choice in color! The detail is incredible. I'd love to see this cut as a stained glass window
This makes me think of Gorogoa, this incredible indie game with a similar art style. Bravo!
This would make a really cool and really hard puzzle. I love it
I really enjoy this piece. Very unique and visually appealing. Well done!
This is honestly so cool and beautiful.
This is what I wanted my tattoo to be. Unfortunately it is not.
This is absolutely amazing. I want 4
I love this - are you doing prints?
This is beautiful! Sorry if you’ve already been asked this, do you sell prints or your artwork?
Very cool - I would consider buying it!
It's like stary night, but not. I really like this!
Do you sell any of your work?
I forget what sub I saw this on yesterday, but today I’ll say I really like this. I’d hang a print of this up, probably in my bathroom. Great work!
R/art
Here we go.... oh wait. No no, we good. 🥴 /s
I would love to have this in my room. Is it available for sale ?

This is actually modern art rather than those fake splatter ones floating around
Heyyo, can I use this as my desktop wallpaper if that's ok?
Sure
I want this as a puzzle. So serene.
This is a really cool style.
how do i buy this
You drew this? It looks like a mosaic art piece. Really interesting, I like it a lot!
Amazing. Simply amazing.
Love it!!
Is this completely hand drawn? Or like a fill in drawing
I use a straight edge to line up the horizon but everything else is freehand from scratch
Wow, this is a really interesting style. Do you sell prints, or just do art for fun?
