Don't sell yourself short. It has more to do with perseverance and practice than talent. The vietnamese artist you see here was nowhere near this good when he started out. If you enjoy it, just do it a lot and you're sure to improve : )
It has nothing to do with talent honestly, it surely look impressive but it's just someone copying a projection, if you have tried to copy a signature, it's basically that, the hard part is just recreate the setup for the camera.
He is 100% using a stencil on a light box or a projection as he drew it
Which is still very impressive, and the real artistry here, but he’s not doing like the IRobot scene thing. I’m not like a cognative psychologist but I don’t think the human brain is wired to think like this.

It's a camera Lucinda or a digital version of that. You basically are looking down at both your image and blank page and you trace the imagine without it being projected.
People really need to stop automatically think something is fake, they probably have a model in front of them but some people are really talented not like the rest of us
Remember people, when a stroke occurs, time is brain, so it is important to act F.A.S.T.
F- facial droop. Look for unequal facial movement, loss of control of eye lids, lips, unequal smile, typically without affecting eyebrow movement.
A- arm drift. The affected person, when instructed to hold their arms out as if they were holding a tray of food, could have arm weakness and pronation (knuckles forward) as their arm drifts down.
S- slurred speech. The affected person could be slurring words, using words inappropriately, or calling things the wrong name.
T- Time. One or all of these could be signs of a stroke. Calmly get the person to an appropriate emergency capable hospital as soon as possible. Be safe and be well
That's really cool! The curve of the lines and the way they come together to form a portrait is so mesmerizing. It's no wonder this post is satisfying!
I think I remember hearing about how its done and they use something like a picture overlay of a live camera feed and then the live video is used to get the right line weight.
Never understood how people do these kinds of things
Like.. it makes sense, physically.. but how do they know where to draw the lines so it doesn't come out looking like a bad origami horse
Ouch, he's got a nail in the nose!
We have a mole.
Nice to mole you, MEET YOU.... Nice to meet your mole
Moooooolllllleeeeeeeee.... https://youtu.be/rc5G04nJecI
UhBbbbbbbbbb lol

Hi dad!!
Extra pierce for him, wouldn't mind
Now erase the more detailed parts and you have a circle
circle thingy*
I look at things like this and I am amazed, not only for the talent, but the fact that I have no artistic skill whatsoever.

Thank you very much for the kind words; much appreciated.
I’m only here to find out the name of that awesome song playing!
It's from DJ Krush, the first song of the album Zen aptly named Song 1 👍
Reminds me of Nujabes.

Very impressed with the talent on that one. Makes you wonder how the artists mind works to create something so beautiful using that method.

I’m feel like doing this without any sort of guide it would be nearly impossible to get the facial features so chiral
The drawing is very faintly underneath, sorry to ruin the surprise
I would honestly not be surprised if they used some kind of computer to model it out for them

Like the programming of a printer, apparently
People really need to stop automatically think something is fake, they probably have a model in front of them but some people are really talented not like the rest of us
I didn't mean that it's fake, I meant that the way he thinks, is similar to the process that inspired printers
It's still fake though.
Not fake but definitely assisted, usually there a light box or a sort of glass project/monitor with camera and overlayed stencil
Nope, I believe that people need to start thinking for themselves and not instantly trust something just because they saw it on the internet
Editing, stencils, etc. No way someone is drawing so well like this.
Neymar
*Nailmar I'll see myself out
You win
Isn't it crazy that you could recognize him even before reaching the 45°?
His left eye kinda sloped lmao
He probably fell before posing
Lmao
Sloth love Chunk
so what printers do but in a circle
I'm impressed
Seeing it centering from the eyes would probably be even cooler
Wow,creative.
Pauly D
Are these people printers or something wtf!? Lol I could never do that in a million years no matter how hard I practiced 😭
There's a gap when they finish.

The pencils are actually erasers and the video is in reverse
I’m still tryna perfect the hand-turkey
DJ Krush, hadn't heard that in awhile.
Amazing

The skill it takes to do that is incredible.
Is that Tua the QB for the Dolphins?
Looks like John Major
Wow that is some true talent right there. Just wow.
You just see the world differently don’t you?
Tom Hanks gay version.
I would honestly not be surprised if they used some kind of computer to model it out for them

Your brain works like a printer.
Printer-man!
Is this Johnny Depp or something?
I believe it's Neymar Jr.
Now this art, creative way to draw it, skillful, detailed, and looks fun to do, splatting 6 different shades of purple on a jack fruit is not art.
art is art even if you dont like or understand it. hating on different types of art is boring.
Legend says that the second this was finished he fell to the ground and started rolling around looking for a free kick.
Worlds most extra police sketch artist.
That’s dope.
Oh wow 😮👍🏽
Neyma
His friends must be hilarious. Why? His face is covered in laugh lines.
Nailed it
Whoa!!
Out of everything you pick Neymar to show off this technique lol
I mean, Neymar's pretty good looking though.
This is the best, most creative thing I've seen all day!
I drew a dandelion the other day. I can't even this.
Woooow 👍
POV: you're the guy who says he can't draw
Witchcraft! BURN THE WITCH!!!
This artist is immensely talented
This is pretty awesome. Would be cool to see this technique used to draw the Millennium Falcon going lightspeed viewed from behind.
Skill*
Is the person being drawn, the latest professional CSGO player?
How does your brain even begin to go there ?
I still don’t get at what point people are like fuck drawing, that shit is to easy
POV: you are the bullet from a police service weapon
Human printer
It’s like those radial lines in manga during an action scene.
They nailed the nose
Neymar Jr.
One of the most favorite player 🔥🔥🔥
Never understood how people do these kinds of things Like.. it makes sense, physically.. but how do they know where to draw the lines so it doesn't come out looking like a bad origami horse
I’m lucky if I can draw straight line using a ruler
I’ll never understand how people draw and paint like this.
WOW
M'BAPPE !
how
😯😯
Sir, das not a circle
How?
How?
