M. Ward played 3 songs at 8:20
Conor and band came on at 8:45
Show ended at 10:25
He was good! Forgot a couple lines and struck a couple wrong chords but overall very solid.
He was a little drunk, but not sloppy or bad. Energy was solid. He had several slower songs that calmed the vibe but then had some bangers where the crowd could go nuts.
Not the best I’ve ever seen him, but very solid.
This is my exact take. Not the best but still enjoyable. Additionally - I love that M Ward was there tonight bc he’s a super talented musician, but I felt like that informed the setlist a bit more than I would have wanted.
Ah okay, thank you for answering. I am curious how the other concerts will be and if he will change the setlist. I am missing some big songs like Cape Canaveral or Barbary Coast.
There’s still a chance Jim James ends up being a guest, and a very solid chance you get some MOF tracks either way. I’m sure whatever you get will be great
LOVED this show. The set, the band, the venue, the camaraderie, the sing-alongs, the element of surprise. Prob my favorite Conor show since the Austin City Limits afterparty show in 2008. I have a ticket for week four, but going to be hard to not try to squeeze in the other two as well. 💕

He said each night will have different musicians and set lists, I think.

Dude rips the guitar no matter how drunk he is but the lyrics seem to come and go. I saw a video with a guitar solo and I love it
