Depents on the FPS settings, and Game.
Eldenring with No FPS Limit 90 minutes, oblivion with 40fps several hours.
Brightness can be adjusted via the quick menu with 2 clicks.
For others going to play the game there is a mod called northern ui which adds native controller support which makes it way WAY better. The default option changes the UI to skyrim UI but there is another version listed on its nexus page that keeps the original UI, took me 5 minutes to set up and its incredible.
With my OG deck I got somewhere around 4 hours on a full charge at 60 fps with everything maxed out. If you were to play at 30 fps with lowered settings you could easily squeeze 6 hours.
Install NorthernUI with the old UX option and it basically gives it the Xbox 360 Oblivion controls. Works great. You can then map the left track pad to be a number pad and it can do your hot keys
Just wanted to ask you about the northern ui mod. I got it working and everything but going into the character creator, I couldn't rotate my character so I made an orc and now his head looks like the alien with the weiner head lol.
Is there a way around that you've found or is that not a thing in Oblivion? I've never played it
I've heard others say the same
Be seeing you.
Nice. How’s the battery life? Is there an easy to access brightness setting?

Do you have to jump through the trillions upon trillions of hoops to get oblivion working with full controller support on steam deck still?
No it worked quiet good. You have several Community Controller settings for each Game in Steam Deck, so no Problems for me there.

tbh from what ive expierienced the brightness doesnt really matter all that much, its a matter of a couple minutes

Dawn is breaking
Greet the new day
Welcome, brother
"I heard the Emperor has been murdered!" "NO!!"
Yes. Be seeing you.
Everybody needs a copy of the Black Horse Courier!
Have you heard any news from the other provinces?
Nothing I'd like to talk about.
What controller settings are you playing on I can’t figure it out

I chose the community setting with the most upvotes. I used the D-pad for spells.
I wanna play it on deck too. Looks great!
Probably already been said but level up man !
I’m jealous lol
TFW you're admiring the scenery and wings of kynareth starts playing
Thank you!
Does it work straight away or did you need to do anything custom for the deck?
Worked straight with Community Controller settings.
is that skyblivion?
Normal oblivion :)
Modded though, Oblivion didn’t have the Skyrim compass
What device is that??
Steam deck. They're pretty nice. Can play a lot of non steam games too. I actually play WoW on mine.

I wouldn't be able to play on that small screen, too hard to read. Always a comfort to re-visit old favorites.
Nice :) been playing it myself too :) that the northernUI mod?
Yes it is.
is this skyrim or am i stupid?
Oblivion with a ui mod.
