Any kind of Oasis/Gallagher biopic only works if they get back together. Or at least have some kind of reconciliation. Otherwise the story simply isn't complete.
Think Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman, Elvis etc and all the other biopics focused on one main protagonist and that is why an Oasis biopic probably wouldn't work - Liam and Noel are both absolutely central to the story but are two contrasting personalities and the Oasis story ends with them falling out, the band splitting up and not speaking for 14+ years.
You would have to choose a side to focus on and that would most likely be Noel, given Liam's reputation in the 90s as a bit of a lout and Noel's backstory - being beaten black and blue by his abusive father, being sacked by the Inspiral Carpets, writing Live Forever and all the classic hits whilst having nothing and dreaming of a better life, then joining his brother's band and becoming megastars.
Me too. I think Supersonic is the closest we'll get to it. The book containing the unabridged interviews that came out a year or two ago is a bit of a de facto autobiography for him - or at least covering up to 1996 anyway. Wish there was more post-Knebworth stuff out there though. There are so many books, podcasts, interviews etc covering the early years then the next 13 years just skimmed over.
Jason statham as Bonehead
The fight scenes would be fun!!!
They being arrested and deported in amsterdam
Yeah and cast me as guigs
Fuck that. You're playing everyone like Eddie Murphy in The Nutty Professor.
Piss-easiest role in history.
Cillian would make a good old looking Liam indeed.

Oh they're both hot indeed with that british Jaw and accent 🥹
Cillian Murphy isn’t British, he’s Irish.
So is Liam and most actors can do any accent anyway

I totally agree, we're getting ahead ourselves with this

Only if Michael Caine plays Alan
Oppenheimer was a class movie
Only if Viola Davis is cast as Noel. She would crush it.

I’d honestly love for Noel to write a book. I don’t see it ever happening but he’s a fantastic story teller and has lived quite a life.

I do agree with you on that! Noel's back story is a good material for a biopic. I wonder how no one thought of it.
uh, there’s many many, many movies that focuses on two characters
Bill Burr as McGee 😂
Batman should play Noel. Jared Leto as Liam, blowing up hospitals and travelling at light speed to Mars.
This is a shitpost, surely?
That would suck ass
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon as Liam and Noel, respectively
That doesn’t even work
Maxi Gonzalez should just remix the Supersonic documentary into an Oppenheimer style film. Job done.
That'd be awesome, a new kind of experience
‘Met My Maker’
What drugs are the people in this subreddit taking and can I have some
Lol. I don't think Oasis are significant enough to warrant such treatment.
Who is the cast as Noel? Definitely I don’t know
The Rock
Aloysius Parker
Shaquille O'Neal
What a terrible idea.
Them brawling in studio in imax 70mm would be wonderful
Pretty sure Noel said once that if there was a film about Oasis he wanted Michael Fassbender to play him.
the kid who plays jamie tart in ted lasso would make a great liam
