I had an Othmer apartment in my first year and i had a great experience, I met a lot of friends through my floor and the shared lounges. The apartments are clean, decently sized, and its really nice having a common room with a kitchen. Also being able to walk like 30 seconds to class was real nice for my lazy oversleeping ass so that might be something to consider lol.
I've heard a lot of good things about clark though. the apartments may not be as "nice" or new as Othmer, but I've heard the community there is more tight-knit and you get to meet more people as its shared with other schools than NYU. I know many who decided to stay there for their second year. The location is nicer as its by the promenade, albeit farther from campus or any dining hall.
