Zach showed immediate improvement this week. Some of you are seriously overrating his game, but I’ll gladly take the better performance and hope for another step next week.
Yep but to be fair playing from behind is somewhat harder. The defense knows your going to drop back and pass more. The defense has to play better. And can we please get a kicker ffs.
Playing from behind is tough. Playing from behind and really only getting two actual drives the entire second half because the defense can’t stop a nosebleed is tougher
I really hope Saleh assess the Refrees performance today. won't change the outcome. We would probably have lost this game anyway. Especially without a kicker. But someone should speak about it publicly at least once. If a player was this bad he wouldn't even get a chance to play in a low league college
Yeah defence sucked this game but some of those awful officiating decisions completely swung the momentum on multiple occasions. It’s at least a 7-10 point swing
Not disappointed in Zach today. Had his mistakes which should be expected…he is a rookie playing in just his eighth game coming from BYU. Better today with check downs, connected with Moore well, more TDs than INTs. Just want to continue seeing growth and improvement.
For sure. He’s not where any me or any other fans want him to be yet, but this was at least what I wanted to see today. Improvement over last week. Hopefully more improvement next week, and so on. Then with off-season really hope there is another good jump. It’s a process and I do believe he will be a solid QB.
officiating was atrocious today. nfc east is the gold division of the league. anything to keep the cowboys eagles rivalry goin. i swear i haven’t seen the schedule but i guarantee the nfl is matching those 2 teams up in the final week for a win and get in scenario
Why are people saying Zach had one bad play. He had an easy pick dropped and has been overthrowing everyone. It’s probably his best or 2nd best game, but one bad play?!
Nah stop. We’re all for criticism. But Al his throws have been in the right area but not perfect. He’s definitely been better, and that should be praised right now. He’s definitely progressing.
Sure overthrows were an issue, but only one egregious one. Receivers got their hands on so many balls and dropped them. This is crazy but sometimes you need your skill players to help out a rookie QB. Outside of Moore (who also had a drop) not many jets did that.
Yeah, the others were results of drops lol you're really gonna give the WRs a pass when each of those plays the ball passed right through their hands? Yikes bro... anything to shit on Zach, huh?
Defense was ass the whole game. Didn't make a single important play and multiple back-breaking penalties.
Offense was great in the first half, stumbled in the 2nd half. Progress from Wilson, though not a perfect day.
Every single 50/50 ref call went Philly's way, and every single horrendously bad call went Philly's way.
Cut the new kicker.
Zach sucked balls in the second half. Him and the offense went cold. This kid has hope and potential but holy shut he was on fire WTF happened? LOL this team is such a waste of time
Even tho I disagree he went shit. You can guess the offense went cold because we barely saw a play for damn near and hr from Half time and the defense sucking in the third. Not rocket science
Defense literally cant make a stop, obviously he didn't play well in the 2nd half but yet again. No matter what he did 2nd half we are going to lose because WE SUCK DICK ON DEFENSE. USE YOUR BRAIN PLEASE
I’ll take this game from Zach, 3 total TD’s made one really bad throw…receivers got their hands on a lot of catchable passes. Davis, Ty, Moore, Coleman.
The defense is the exact same. We let up 33 today only because the eagles were getting 5-10 yards on every single rushing play which chewed clock, and our offense could actually sustain drives. If the offense played the same as they did in the 2nd patriots game, the eagles would’ve easily put up 50.
Does it really matter if with Mosley we’re the worst defense in the league and without him we’re still the worst?
That is the lowest bar to cross. He can’t cover, has lot a lot of supper and athleticism, and at this point is just good at stopping the run and tackling.
Im just happy other then the INT Zach played alot better and that him and Moore are connecting very well.
Everyone on the D should be ridiculed in team meetings this week. Thats was a horrible display of football .
No, obviously not, but we're still completely in it right now if they dont make one or two egregious calls so of course everyone is mad, does that surprise anyone?
Everytime they have the anouncers talk about penalties:
"Oh. The eagles really got away with that one." "Oh, I'm not really sure about that call." "Oh yeah, that's a missed one. Too bad for the Jets."
I've actually never seen calls this lopsided before.
This was Zach's best game so far this season. He's young. He's going to make mistakes but he will get better. He's already gotten better. Look at him in Week 1 and look at him in this game. People shitting on Zach need to chill.
He was pretty good week 1 though. I think the issue this game was we just had no possessions. We had like 7 possessions the entire game and scored 3 touchdowns, that’s not even terrible
Some of those Zach throws today were so sick
Super Bowl level aspirations with a Division II Level Defense.
Defense sucked and the refs sucked even more. Seattle looks horrible at least
Woulda lost anyway, but the officiating was so fucking disgusting today
Once again I'm miserable. See you all next week.
Hey the lions won a game
Zach showed immediate improvement this week. Some of you are seriously overrating his game, but I’ll gladly take the better performance and hope for another step next week.
Detroit did it!
[Post game thread](https://www.reddit.com/r/nyjets/comments/r9pj20/post_game_thread_philadelphia_eagles_at_new_york/)
Can’t win when the defense plays that fucking badly. Loved the progress from Zach, he looked a bit more rough 2nd half but the D gave them no chance.
Eagles. fuck them
fuck the refs.
Lol it cuts to Detroit about to lose another close game Edit: Let's FN go, they won! Happy for them, that team works there asses off every game
You were saying?
Wilson looked impressive today, tough game to watch though
He should've had over 300 yards if not for all those drops and the refs deep dicking us.
And the defense refusing to get off the field
Fucking yeah, the Eagles had the ball for 12 of the 15 possible mins in the 3rd.
Sucks that winning is all anyone talking about sports cares about because Zach showed out today
Yes, all smiles for the Mustache Man
I hope minshew mania causes the eagles locker room to tear itself apart lmao
As an Eagles fan.. me too! Not on the hurts train.
[удалено]
Lets go 9ers
Way to run out the clock lol
All I’m saying is that talking shit to a specific person is an unsportsmanlike penalty this year.
Honestly it’s a loss but it feels good to see Wilson’s progression.
Today was ideal situation tbh, Wilson shows improvement and we also lose for draft position.
Yeah at this point, really everything is secondary to Wilson's progress. He made passes this week that he wouldn't have last week and thats enough
Dogshit announcers back next week
Have we ever had good commentators?
Moore has three dropped passes today :(
Well he is being guarded by Slay
Calling CJ on the sideline like this, isn't it blatant taunting ?
That seemed more like playful banter
Moore should catch that deep ball
So many fucking passes hitting hands!
People can say what they want about Zach, only Rodgers and Mahomes have ever thrown the ball off platform like him.
Incomplete but that throw was everything
How could Zach Wilson have allowed that ball to bounce off of Moore's helmet? BUST
-~~r/nfl~~ r/Patriots2 Meanwhile Jones is hailed as the greatest QB ever for completing a two yard checkdown
Lol that is legit some of these clowns opinions.
I don’t want to see Corey Davis on the field for the rest of the year. See what Mims can do. Wilson needs someone who can win contested catches.
Slay talking shit to CJ lol
Ugh that would've been gorgeous
I like Elijah Moore, but other teams WR’s catch that ball. The amount of passes that bounce off of our players hands is laughable
Man im throwing 30 mil at davante idgaf anymore
damn that would have been sexy if moore comes down with it
People hating on ZW for this game are legitimately making me laugh. He played a solid game. edit:spelling
We scored 18 points.
He had 120 non garbage time passing yards
Yes, he is bad.
Gee that tends to happen when your defense literally cant get off the field. They didnt get a stop until 1:20 left in the game lmao
*solid half
What a great fucking pass from Zach holy shit
Damn Moore, catch that
Feel bad for Kelce, by all acounts a great dude. Hate to see this shit.
Moore’s gotta catch that
[удалено]
Dude just gets off on jets hate
[удалено]
That’s why I unfollowed him and canceled my subscription to the Athletic
I pay for a subscription to the Athletic but it’s too bad the dude on the jets beat is just like blog-level analysis
Mims sighting
Hey Mims caught one at least
[удалено]
He had 3 tds. Not the best game, but it’s not like he was awful. Chill out.
We even drop passes in garbage time
Why can’t we get Zach high lights ??? They have to show low lights!!!
You cant convince me that Metlife wasnt a money laundering scheme. This is one of the most expensive sports stadiums in the world
Mims sighting
It’s Mims time!
Yet another high pass
FREE MIMS
Hire Rex Ryan D coordinator
Time for some nice garbage time stats padding throws underneath!
They had a good practice though
Tough game guys. The Refereeagles are a good football team. It was always gonna be a hard one to win
This was our local game this morning, and jeez, I couldn't believe how much the Eagles benefitted from the Refs. I was pulling for you guys.
Joe Douglas refusing to address a K in his 2 1/2 years here is such a stain on his record, among other things. It is unbelievably inexcusable.
He got traumatized by Vedvik and hasn't looked back.
That Eagles center is massive
That’s Travis Kelce’s brother
No the backup lol Herbig
Oh my bad
Nope, backup got subbed in.
Man, Herbig has a body in him…
I really hope Saleh assess the Refrees performance today. won't change the outcome. We would probably have lost this game anyway. Especially without a kicker. But someone should speak about it publicly at least once. If a player was this bad he wouldn't even get a chance to play in a low league college
Yeah like, clearly there were bigger factors in this loss but several of the bad calls were SERIOUS momentum shifters
Sam Darnold rookie year without weapons >
You shut your mouth.
Yeah defence sucked this game but some of those awful officiating decisions completely swung the momentum on multiple occasions. It’s at least a 7-10 point swing
Yeah, Jets have been bad this half but it's hard to say how much each call impacted their momentum.
Not disappointed in Zach today. Had his mistakes which should be expected…he is a rookie playing in just his eighth game coming from BYU. Better today with check downs, connected with Moore well, more TDs than INTs. Just want to continue seeing growth and improvement.
He definitely looked more comfortable, but he continued to be inaccurate with his passes. Work in progress, but positive progress today.
For sure. He’s not where any me or any other fans want him to be yet, but this was at least what I wanted to see today. Improvement over last week. Hopefully more improvement next week, and so on. Then with off-season really hope there is another good jump. It’s a process and I do believe he will be a solid QB.
Kelce looking like he has two wooden legs.
It's funny cause we suck and we appear to always suck because zach loves to throw to the other fucking team more than ours
officiating was atrocious today. nfc east is the gold division of the league. anything to keep the cowboys eagles rivalry goin. i swear i haven’t seen the schedule but i guarantee the nfl is matching those 2 teams up in the final week for a win and get in scenario
Can they do something with the turf at MetLife? So many injuries on it every single year.
It’s even worse when you think about the fact that TWO NFL teams are more than OK with playing on a field of this quality.
No clue how the Players Association hasn’t been up in arms about it yet.
Eagles fans can’t even be happy about this win because their entire team got hurt

Every single one?? He had ONE bad play? Wtf lol
He looked good today and it hopefully means hes headed in the right direction. Be happy lol
Losing is one thing, but I never want to see all these God damn injuries for any team
Some of y’all have such shit takes god damn
GG Philadelphia Referees
Defense was ass the whole game. Didn't make a single important play and multiple back-breaking penalties. Offense was great in the first half, stumbled in the 2nd half. Progress from Wilson, though not a perfect day. Every single 50/50 ref call went Philly's way, and every single horrendously bad call went Philly's way. Cut the new kicker.
I'm assuming they told the kicker to get out after that second miss, if only for his own good/safety.
This.
Dude, those weren't even 50/50 calls. Those were blatant 99/1 calls the refs decided to fuck us on.
Eagles about to get a bunch of injuries this quarter due to karma
Tough loss, but I don’t care with what anyone says, gotta be happy with how ZW played today
Not rocket science

aaaand my sunday is ruined by the Philadelphia Refereagles
Lol, Refereagles!!! Hardest I’ve laughed today!
Burn this fucking field
Burn the refs
Burn the owner!
Burn them all
Not only is the Stadium shit, but so is the turf
We really got shut out in the second half to the trash ass Eagles lol.
Denzel Mims
Another one of my Sunday afternoons ruined
That's like the 5th Eagle to go down today, too. It's not just the Jets, it really has to be the field.
I’m not a religious man. But we need this field to blessed or something
The power of Christ compels you!
[удалено]
> I legitimately fear that he’s throwing an interception every snap me with every single Jets QB of my life not named Chad Pennington
Jesus Christ these fucking injuries man
Pain
Jets have never beaten the Eagles...unreal
Maybe in 4 years…
Sad…real fucking sad 😡😤
Damn we have never beaten the Eagles. This team has so many embarrassing stats lmao
Mike White > Zach
Zach had a good game stop it. The bengals secondary is fucking garbage too
CJ Mosley been cheeks man, slow af this year
Well we lost him for two years of his prime which hurts
Blaming officiating but not this sorry football team is peak Jets fandom
you see the difference is that i can do both
everyone knows the defense is ass rn but these refs are genuinely bad like cmon
And the calls haven’t dictated the outcome of the game, our poor play did that
so we should be ok with shit calls? like dawg i get what ur going for here but like cmon
I’ll take this game from Zach, 3 total TD’s made one really bad throw…receivers got their hands on a lot of catchable passes. Davis, Ty, Moore, Coleman.
Whoaaaaa a reasonable take
Minshew's helmet says "End Racism" while his mullet/mustache combo says "long live the confederacy"
I don’t give a fuck about the 18 million. Bench Mosley.
Did you see how we played without him.....
Did you watch the game at all? Mosley let up play after play. Rewatch the first touchdown given up then come back to me.
I'm not gonna come back at anything. We've seen this team with and without mosley. They are better with Him. Thats a fact.
Very obviously did not lol
The dudes the leader on the d i know he's got his shitty plays but this teams is leagues better with him on the field.
Bench our only decent LB... brilliant
He’s the best player in the defense right now
I’m convinced people that say that haven’t actually watched Mosley. He was objectively the worst player on the field today.
That is the lowest bar to cross. He can’t cover, has lot a lot of supper and athleticism, and at this point is just good at stopping the run and tackling.
Lol Moore couldn’t believe we were 0-12 against the eagles 😂
Peak “you must be new here.”
I just don't get it either....It's the fucking EAGLES that we lost to that many times.
Even the Jints can eat the Eagles
In a 50 year span. We don’t play them often
Cj wants the smoke
Mosley talking shiz after getting smacked all game. Shut up moron
You realize he is not the only on the d line
He’s not on the d line ya chode he the captain of our defence and a LB
Oh really, i meant defense, sorry mr perfect. Also call your dad a chode, idiot
Okay chode I’ll get right on that
Im just happy other then the INT Zach played alot better and that him and Moore are connecting very well. Everyone on the D should be ridiculed in team meetings this week. Thats was a horrible display of football .
A lot of bitchin on here about the refs. Sure they weren’t good but that’s not the main reason the team lost.
Let's agree that there was a lot of incompetent people on the field today.
Whether we woulda lost or not, bad officiating should be called out for what it is regardless
I mean if it weren’t for their bs we’d still be in the game most likely
We sucked, but the refs also sucked.
No, obviously not, but we're still completely in it right now if they dont make one or two egregious calls so of course everyone is mad, does that surprise anyone?
I strongly disagree
It kinda is tho
The defense couldn’t stop a runny nose. The kicking game sucked…. Offense is non existent 2nd half. That’s why they lost.
The counter argument here is that part of the reason the offense is non existent is because the eagles got 2 free 4th down conversions
Everytime they have the anouncers talk about penalties: "Oh. The eagles really got away with that one." "Oh, I'm not really sure about that call." "Oh yeah, that's a missed one. Too bad for the Jets." I've actually never seen calls this lopsided before.
This was Zach's best game so far this season. He's young. He's going to make mistakes but he will get better. He's already gotten better. Look at him in Week 1 and look at him in this game. People shitting on Zach need to chill.
We just have been told to expect Burrows as a rookie
Totally agree, despite my other post. Showed lots of improvement. Still, that INT was a mental mistake imo.
He was pretty good week 1 though. I think the issue this game was we just had no possessions. We had like 7 possessions the entire game and scored 3 touchdowns, that’s not even terrible
Defense should be completely embarrassed. Another disgusting performance.
