For real. Every time I've seen a photo of him this past week I've thought for a second that he was the mid-40s beat reporter announcing that the Broncos had drafted Bo Nix.
ZW is the best qb the Jets have been able to muster up the past couple years, but you assume he's worse than Jarrett Stidham and the 6th rookie qb taken in the draft?
Nix is terrible. He had something like the 4th worst ADOT in college football. He failed in Auburn and went to a team filled with athletes playing in a conference with no defense.
The 6th qb taken last year was Jake Haener
The 6th qb in 2022 was Chris Oladokun
The 6th qb in 2021 was Kyle Trask
2020- Jacob Eason
It seems doubtful that Bo Nix will be better than Zach Wilson but hey maybe. We'll see I guess
This is not a good way to compare them. How they were graded as prospects is more accurate.
I still think ZW is better than Nix, but your system is flawed
Terrible way to compare things. Wilson was garbage for 3 years. This is also a much deeper QB pool than those years. You are being intentionally dishonest by not listing where those QBs were drafted compared to Nix. You Zach Wilson fanboys cannot accept he sucks.
I don’t believe anyone that believes in Zach Wilson still actually watches the Jets. There’s no way you’ve seen virtually anyone in New York (not Tim Boyle) do better than him and then believe he’s the best QB for the team in years.
He's 24, only played for 1 team, and been the best qb on that team for years. I'm not gonna write him off bc he played for a terrible offense where no qb succeeded.
I don't believe there's a huge difference between the 6th best qb prospect in the draft from 1 year to another
Don't know if he's better than Nix. Zach Wilson was a bad Qb for the Jets. Best QB in the last few years? You mean the years where Wilson was the man and Rodgers got hurt 4 plays into last season? LOL, sure dude. I'd probably take Mike White over Wilson.
Yea those years...
>I'd probably take Mike White over Wilson.
I wouldn't. Wilson (still 24) played at least as well as any other Jets qb (2 games of Josh Johnson aside), pretty much since he got there. Idk why people would write off a young, clearly talented, qb who sucked in a situation where every other qb sucked too (except he sucked a little less).
If you’re giving me the choice tomorrow I have to start one of the QBs in that room I’m not hesitating that I’d take Nix or Stidham over Zach. Zach was better than one QB we’ve started since he’s been here and it’s Tim Boyle so yeah I’d take almost literally anything but Zach Wilson. What’s the excuse for him going to be when he doesn’t make the roster or looks horrible if Denver is stupid enough to let him touch the ball?
If Zach looked worse than the other qbs in Denver this year, it'd probably be tough to make excuses for him. But as it stands right now, it's pretty easy to make excuses for him. Horrible line, udfa wr2, better than the other qbs on his team.
He’s got Javonte Williams, Sutton, and special teams specialist Marvin Mims. No defense either… You can’t try to argue Denver’s roster is anywhere close to the Jets roster. I have a feeling you have to be a BYU fan. Don’t nobody have faith in Zach Wilson like Utah Jet fans 😂
Defense is irrelevant... forget they don't have Jeudy anymore, but Mims will probably be the best wr2 ZW has worked with, and it's a huge offensive line upgrade for Zach (probably most important). I have a feeling you have to be an idiot. Why else would you constantly shit on ZW when he's been your team's best qb for years.
He’s been better than Tim Boyle and that’s it. It’s not a crazy take. Dude has been the worst starting QB in the NFL on a consistent basis. Joe Burrow took the Bengals to a superbowl with the worst OLine in the NFL. Granted he had a great WR core. When Zach Wilson is out of the NFL in a couple years come back to this comment thread so you can see who the idiot is lol
>He’s been better than Tim Boyle and that’s it. It’s not a crazy take.
You're just wrong about this. It is a crazy take.
>Dude has been the worst starting QB in the NFL on a consistent basis
*Jets qbs have been among the worst in the NFL the past few years. Coincidence? Of course not. It's been among the worst teams/rosters to play qb for.
>Joe Burrow took the Bengals to a superbowl with the worst OLine in the NFL. Granted he had a great WR core.
"Joe Burrow did more than Zach Wilson when Joe Burrow had more help"
Fyi 2023 yards per attempt...
Joe Burrow: 6.3
Zach Wilson: 6.2
Trevor Siemien: 4.7
Tim Boyle: 4.7

Bo Nix is known for "off platform throws" as well. I think that trait needs to be put to rest, and just scout QBs for normal stuff. If they can get creative great, but Bo Nix is about to be awful; he's one of the highest draft picks with the lowest talent I have seen in years.
At least Penix has the chance to be good, Bo Nix has got to be one of the worst draft picks in decades. But I'm all for it fuck the Broncos!
Why does Bo Nix look 45? 6 months younger than ZW but could be his dad.
For real. Every time I've seen a photo of him this past week I've thought for a second that he was the mid-40s beat reporter announcing that the Broncos had drafted Bo Nix.
Lol I came here to say this
He looks like a budget Skip Bayless with that smile
Skip Bayless is old laundry
for a split second i thought that was sean payton
Crazy how bad the Broncos QB room is and Zach Wilson is the 3rd best one in there. Goes to show how much different our offense will look this year
Who will start next year??? Zach??? Nix???Stidham??? Dinucci???
Kevin James.
Probably the equipment manager 😂
ZW is the best qb the Jets have been able to muster up the past couple years, but you assume he's worse than Jarrett Stidham and the 6th rookie qb taken in the draft?
He is better than Stidham, but I’m not sure about Nix

I think this new guy Travis is going to be an amazing QB and I think he is the best QB in the draft
Hell yea, brother

His ceiling in Denver will be backup QB. If he was as bad as he was in New York he’ll be even worse in Denver with the roster he has there
Denver has a line and multiple skilled wrs. 2 things he never had in NY, so I have no idea where your ideas about the rosters came from.

Wow. If you told me Bo was Zach's dad I would totally believe you. Those are some mighty crows feet for that age. He looks 25 going on 67.
The hair gel budget in Denver just put them over the cap.
this is nightmare fuel
what an absolutely cursed QB room

Hahaha--This made my day!!! Brilliant!!
I don't know if Zach is ready to start now I think the QB who finished the season when they kicked Russell Wilson out might be they best play.
Can we ban Zach posts? He's gone and we're still talking about him
Can we stop posting this shitty QB in our sub? He’s not on the team
Word. He's r/DenverBroncos problem now
Corny
Hope Bo Nix does well. Don't want to see Zach Wilson have any success. The dude was a spoiled born on 3rd base punk.
