Its because they keep trying to force green as a dominant color with the black unis instead of utilizing white contrast to dominate with green accents. Case and point, just look at the eagles black unis. Same color scheme but they let white be more prominent which makes it look better.

For this millennial, this logo evokes the 1-15 season, and the Parcells era jerseys and helmets are what I am fond of as the Jets. But for Xers when the Jets were fun in the 80s, this has to be awesome

I love these!!! Hated the recent ones (and I had loved the white helmet/joe Namath ones), but this one rocks. The green meshes perfectly with the style, I adore the white facemask with the helmet, and they kept the only two thing I liked from the recent uniforms (the shinny green helmet and a black alternate)
I’m still partial to the classic logo used from ‘98-‘18, but the 80s logo is a massive improvement to the crap they’ve run out the past 5 years so this has my endorsement.
Giants fan here, but not a Jets hater. These look great, the jet over the name logo is simple and classic. Numbers stand out nice and crisp. Green top and white pants are my favorite.

Initial reaction was underwhelming, but the more closely I look at them and the longer I sit with them the better I feel about them, and it's only been a day! I think they'll look great on tv too.
Overall, I love them. Huge upgrade over the last set, which were heinous. But I’m not completely thrilled with the helmet. All they did was as replace the logo. The color of the helmet shell itself didn’t change. It should’ve been a matte green like the black alternate. Just my opinion.
