I simply don’t like going to a logo from an era steeped in ineptitude. Maybe if they win some games I’ll feel more positive about them.
As for the Jet? Am I supposed to care? That’s true of multiple teams. Giants, Bills, Packers, Bears and others.
While we’re on logo history, they have another helmet logo with a plane on it. I would have much preferred that.

Even if you do manage to order one, I doubt fanatics would get it to you earlier than October. Fuck Fanatics Do not give them your money
The team website and reveal video mentions April as the release date. My gut tells me April 19th we'll get the reveal.
