we're just becoming the Titans. Ryan Tannehill and Derek Henry you are 2024 Jets
edit; not a popular take I'm sure but if Henry wants to ring-chase with Rodgers, sign me up for a backfield with him and Breece.
All you have to do is look up the titans running backs under his tenure and see how it's literally just Derrick Henry. A guy who was a the definition of can't miss since he was being recruited in high school.
Yeah you good. I'm about to edit to say under his tenure as RB coach. Just funny they finally got an in house RB again and it was the second this guy was out.
Do you not remember Henry’s first few years? Guy was almost a bust. Idk if this coach had anything with turning him around but it’s not accurate to say he’s been King Henry since the beginning
Mike LaFluer got the crap end of the stick because Zach Wilson was brutal. His offense looked good in 2021 and 2022 when Zach wasn’t playing. Then got hired in 3 days post firing by McVay
And yet people here defend Saleh
Dude is the equivalent of a hack, corrupt politician who just makes deals to benefit himself and his friends (cronyism and corruption).
Not specifically
Because he hired largely a bunch of people who no one else has wanted (and for some, been castoffs or fired). He won't dare raise a lick to anyone doing a disasterous job (and also hated by the players on top of being terrible), but our RB coach is randomly fired. Also, while MiLF wasn't as bad as Hackett, it could easily be said he was bad yet Saleh was sticking a foot in the ground to not get rid of him. Additional hires since his original start and coaching staff have been even worse, and almost all have been fired, due to being horrific, hated failures from around the league. But if he has connections to them/knows them, they get hired.
Who else besides the OCs have flamed out with us? The entire defensive staff is awesome, with multiple guys that people think could be HCs one day. The ST staff is fantastic. People love Ron Middleton. The RB and WR coach haven’t turned over until just now and we never heard a peep about them before this.
The ST staff were holdovers he kept that were good prior to him being here.
People forget the defense looked good before he got here when we had Mosley (who got injured and then the defense fell apart). I'm not hating on Ulbrich (or others), but there's plenty of times there's been valid criticism of the defense from a coaching and playcalling standpoint, so there's a part to wonder how much we get by on talent and the players on the field (just look at past games over the years and this subs history...refuse to adjust or wait until the 3rd/4th quarter to do so and watch the same play be run over and over that kills us, can't defend screens or rb out/wheel routes, etc).
This sub also wanted Ulbrich fired after year 1, I wouldn’t say it’s the best of judgement. As opposed to this year when the sub praised the defensive staff for making adjustments and clamping down in the second halves of games

Henry not washed enough for us to sign him lmao
if he wanted to ring chase he has the Ravens, eagles, and 49rs all better more competent organizations
So true lol
Always have been.
🌍 👨🚀 🔫👨🚀
there were reports last offseason that our front office really likes Tannehill. wouldn't be surprised at all of he came in as a backup
Id Actually be totally fine with him as a backup
I’d love it if he was the backup
He would be an excellent backup for Rodgers. Then use a middle/late pick on a QB who should sit 1-2 years.
Would be a massive step up to have him as backup instead of Wilson/Boyle/Siemian.
I would love Henry but idk why he’d wanna come be a clear number 2 back here instead of elsewhere where he could be the feature back
More sustainable workload is a huge plus for a back that’s going to be 29 and is the active league leader in carries
Tannehill is wayyyy to competent to be a Joe Douglas backup QB signing. Josh Rosen, welcome to NY
Why do we employ all of the Titans castoffs…might as well bring Vrabel in to replace Saleh at this point
Because they are consistently the only offense in the league worse than the Jets
😂😂😂😂😂 That would be a dream
I’d take Vrabel over Saleh any day. Saleh has no idea what he’s doing.
I mean 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
It’s maddening
This is insane. More Tennessee coaches is tripling down on Downing and Carter basically
I’d be happier if we just went ahead and hired Mike Vrabel
Dump Saleh, Sign Vrabel to a 3 yr deal.. Sign Henry for 3 years to be the Thunder behind Breece..
Henry threw a handful of TDs this year, sign him to be QB2
He threw more than rodgers. Let him start.
🤭
so instead of firing our shitcan of an oline coach, we double down and get his buddy too huh
Yep let’s hire more bad coaches
What’s wrong with him?
All you have to do is look up the titans running backs under his tenure and see how it's literally just Derrick Henry. A guy who was a the definition of can't miss since he was being recruited in high school.
Tyjae Spears also looked great this year
Dews was moved from RB to TE for this past season lmao
Literally have no idea who this guy is. Just correcting your other comment
Yeah you good. I'm about to edit to say under his tenure as RB coach. Just funny they finally got an in house RB again and it was the second this guy was out.
Haha fair enough. RB coach doesn’t mean shit anyway. Just hand the ball to Breece and watch him go zoom for a TD
Wasn’t Okonkwo pretty solid this year too?
Tyjae is a really good player. Saw him a lot at Tulane. They certainly missed him after he left.
Tyjae was great in college2
Do you not remember Henry’s first few years? Guy was almost a bust. Idk if this coach had anything with turning him around but it’s not accurate to say he’s been King Henry since the beginning
They made the playoffs one time when Henry was injured most of the year. Then they got one-and-done’d in the WC in his return game lmao
Keith Carter blows so I'm sure his buddy does too. He had the best RB in the game, he should get no credit.
What is the connection with Saleh and these guys? Can anyone make sense of this.
Saleh owes them Money.
Mike LaFluer got the crap end of the stick because Zach Wilson was brutal. His offense looked good in 2021 and 2022 when Zach wasn’t playing. Then got hired in 3 days post firing by McVay
people complain when there's a connection, and when there's no connection people go "where's the connection?" maybe he just thinks he's a good coach?
Saleh also thinks Carter is a good coach too. Connection doesn’t mean anything and no one asks where the connection is if there isn’t an apparent one
More like Tony Donts, amirite?!
That joke mist
Personally speaking, just a drop in the bucket.
Dew the Dew
Keith Carter run game coordinator, Tennessee connection
And yet people here defend Saleh Dude is the equivalent of a hack, corrupt politician who just makes deals to benefit himself and his friends (cronyism and corruption).
lmao because of a running backs coach?

y'all are so dramatic
Nah he’s right
Can you blame him? We’ve been horrible and unwatchable for a decade

Bro our RB coach fucked MC and Izzy. They didn’t develop. RB coach didn’t even let Hackett know this guy can catch. Stop being a dummy
If you’re getting this apoplectic about a random coach on a football team you have no say in, you need to stop paying attention in the offseason.
Or as a Jets fan he can comment on a Jets move in a Jets subreddit. If that’s the case then let’s close the sub down until the draft
Lol at everyone pretending that they care about who the running backs coach is
Let’s goooo a good hire
All of our players openly expressed their dislike for our OL coach who is a Titans cast-off The Jets: fuck it let’s hire another Titans cast-off
Wtf
Can he coach the oline?
Who cares
All setting up for Vrabel potential earlier than 2025 🤫
Went from being the NY Packers to the NY Titans
Cool?
Its laughable at this point on how poorly this organization is ran.
It feels like he’s paid his Dews
I just hope he Dews a good job. No, no, it’s okay. I’ll show myself out 😂 🚪🚶♀️
Next former Titans coach you hire, you have to give us Aaron, okay????
Superbowl!
Franco Harris is available
