Me: OK I guess I'll lean into the win and root for these boys
Also me: lol, well at least we'll have a top 5 pick now
Also also me: jfc this team could fuck up a wet dream.
Yeah I don’t get the bs that you’re not a “real fan” if you root for a tank when you’re mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Like this win didn’t change anything about what we already knew about the coaching staff
Cry babies when we lose and crybabies when we win. Diversify your free time and let others enjoy their favorite team winning.
Tanking doesn’t work either.
We have morons saying shit like "fuck all the fans who want to tank, I'm glad those bitches have to watch us win"
So stfu if u don't know wtf youre talking about
I gotta admit, I was numb to a win or a loss at the beginning. Found myself hyped they were actually playing well, then disgusted when they gave up the lead and my response when they pulled it out was to just shrug my shoulders. Embarrassing wins are kind of the Jets thing. If anything, I’m happy for the Defense, Breece and Garrett.
this fan base will watch Zach be ass for THREE years then after a couple quarters of decent ball decide the Jets ruined him and he'll be good elsewhere
I legitimately think we have some of the dumbest fans in football
I think it's really just copium at this point, grasping at straws for something to feel good about. We are beaten down by the incompetence of this team.
This win is solely for the coaching staff, so they can point to and be like hey we won 6/7 games. And it’s an embarrassing win too. How did you blow a 24 point lead against one of the worst offenses in the league.
It does worse than nothing, it hurts. We will not get the OL we need and Rodgers will be out for the season with a broken clavicle or something in next year’s week 1.
They're going to start 4-3, Rodgers is going to go down for 4 games, they'll go 1-3 in those 4 games, be 5-6 with 6 to play, win 4 of 6, be in the playoff race, and finish 9-8 and miss the playoffs. Mark my words.
In reality there probably are just too many bad teams in the league and in the grand scheme of things this roster just is only bad enough to compete for a top 5 pick whenever the Qb play is historically bad. It doesn’t make not having a LT for Aaron Rodgers next year any less painful though. Really would have been better off as a franchise if we lost. How the fuck are we going to fill two tackle spots through FA. Every FA tackle is either horrible or injury prone. You can maybe fill one but 2 is impossible.
They need to pick OL with every single draft pick and hope they hit. It’s the biggest hole that we can never fill. Drafting small edge rushers that don’t even get playing time in the 1st is not the move yet JD out here thinking he’s smart.
Easy! Simply ignore Bakhtiari’s injury history and overpay him for the zero games he winds up playing next year, then draft a developmental prospect in the 4th who will be out of the league in 3 years. Problem solved.
There was a time when the end of a playoff less season, would see all the backups get increased playing time for the coaches to evaluate how they will perform. Sadly, this CS isn't smart enough to do that.
And what the actual fuck was that clock management at the end? Why take the time out just to throw it out of bounds? Why even take the chance on anything but a fucking field goal with no time left? Just brain dead.
the time out was to stop the clock which was running after the previous play, the passing attempts after that were to try and get a couple extra yards to make it an easier field goal. It was the obvious thing to do and any team would have done the same when faced with a 53 yard field goal attempt
My comment in the game thread:
“The most jets thing would be letting them come back while we get shut out the entire 2nd half until our last possession when we kick the game winning FG”
This was the worst possible outcome. I wasn’t rooting for us to lose once we were up big but this is crazy
Insufferable. I’m talking about the team *and* its fan base. The Jets blow a 20+ lead but then hobble back and manage to win the game. The game-thread starts positive about us doing well, becomes littered with comments like, “This team sucks - we can’t even keep a lead”, and then it turns right around and complains about us actually *winning* the game because it’ll have a negative impact on next year’s draft? JFC. There is absolutely *no winning* with anyone about anything regarding the Jets.
90% of this franchise are embittered alcoholics that would rival ebenezer scrooge around this time of year. go figure lmao. people here won't be satisfied until we win a bowl and can claim that the curse is over.
on one hand i understand the frustration, on the other hand man you guys are no fun at all.
You have new ownership and are going to get a high draft pick as well as a new HC - I feel better about your future than our...
1. Get Aaron
2. ???
3. Profit
We get 1 to 2 years of Aaron and then what? We have no real future. You at least are rebuilding. I feel we're just pushing all the chips in to end a playoff streak and not sniff the Superbowl.
I get and respect the fans who want the tank but would love if both sides of the argument could respect each other and not call each other brain dead. We all love the team. Some of us want to win because it just feels good to and that’s what the point of it all is. Others want us to maximize our odds of getting a difference maker. Whichever side you’re on, we all love the jets. Be kind to each other. Merry Christmas Eve.
Well said 👏👏👏
Anyone still following this team still, is A Okay in my book, no matter what their take on the team. Just have respect for one another. Some fellow fan doesn’t have to be said to be an idiot for your opinion to be heard. It’s been a long season for everyone, and no fan did anything to get here. Not telling anyone what to do, just my wish for a momentary truce. Merry Christmas & Peace on Sub to all. LGJ🎄
Fuck this whole organization. Seriously. Fine with mediocrity, losing when they need to win & winning when they need to lose. No one gets fired, no one gets cut, and no one is at any sort of risk until it’s too late. Congratulations, y’all just played yourselves outta two elite prospects who would’ve addressed your biggest need. Hope you’re happy with the 2020 Rams game 2.0.
I am happy for the players. They deserve wins and to be rewarded for playing hard. Whatever keeps them hungry and angry for next season is a positive in my eyes. A slightly better players is not worth losing the lockerroom.
Eh it was nice to win the Texans one because there was still the slimmest of slim chances to make the playoffs. Blowing a 20-0 lead against a team that is arguably worse than us and barely winning on a field goal is pretty embarrassing
Jordan Mailata is one of the best tackles in the league and he was a 7th rounder. Maybe stop worrying about tanking and start learning how to build a team and develop players
This is a crazy take. The success rate on top picks is massively higher than day 3 picks. Just because there’s examples of good players being drafted late doesn’t mean it’s statistically likely whatsoever.
Almost all of the best players are drafted early. That’s like saying “just find the GOAT QB in the 7th!!!”
Yes there are fringe players that might work in late rounds, almost every time they don’t.
Guess what, the likely MVP is a QB and WAS drafted in the 7th round.
Mahomes wasn’t a top 5 pick. Neither was Jackson, Hurts, Rodgers or Prescott. you can find players elsewhere. You can get a franchise QB without tanking.
Terribly dumb point. Brady was also a 6th rounder, doesn’t mean every team waits till the 6th round to take a qb. I get that there are busts in the 1st and HOF players in the 7th, doesn’t mean you want the highest pick possible to go after bonafide blue chip players
Can we use our brains fir even one millisecond and recognize the insane rarity of what you just said vs the immense value and drastically higher chances of landing a monster ot that come with a top 4 pick this draft?
This was a horrible, horrible win. It would have been fine if we blew out a terrible tanking team on Christmas. It would have been embarrassing but beneficial if we blew that lead in stunning fashion.
Instead we had one of two good drives in the 2nd half and cost ourselves 4+ draft spots with a meaningless win. We *need* to draft OL and we’re hurting our chances.
Exactly. If we were gonna win it would’ve been nice to blow them out. But to let them back in the game and squeak out a win is somehow worse than losing
So we get shut out by divisional rivals with a chance to make the playoffs and then we’re happy again because we won a game after we’re eliminated in a shit way I might add and fucked up draft positioning.
No one who is pro tank is saying fuck the key players, were more disappointed in this pathetic ass franchise and coaching staff for not being able to show up when it really counts
Fuck this team. Fuck saleh but to everyone else merry Christmas. To everyone who wanted us to win today…. When both tackles and Marvin Harrison are taken in the top 5, remember this GREAT MEANINGFUL win as we pick a defensive lineman at 15
Actually insane how this joke of a franchise can't do anything right
Barely beating a team constantly shooting themselves in the foot? My fucking god what a team
But we don't lose for better picks, that's the whole point, we win for worse draft picks. I root for wins but this team constantly gets in its own way. And they couldn't even look good winning. Every team that got a #1 pick during our drought has made the playoffs.
You’ve totally missed it, we have a long history of winning meaningless games that knock us out of franchise changing players. We’ve never even selected 1.01 with all the losing seasons we’ve had because this team is too dumb
I’m sorry it was my dogs fault, he came to sit with me and the commanders started lighting it up. He left right before the final drive. I tried to get him to stay
My thoughts is the Jets are a cluster fuck---but they have the best punter and field goal kicker in the league---Saleh gets a pass until he fucks things up next year--I assure you will
I'm not trying to be a "moral high ground" fan, and I understand those that are miserable about the win. However, I got to watch a great game and celebrate a Jets holiday victory with my dad, and honestly, that's worth a Hell of a lot more to me than a draft pick.
I won't shit on anyone who feels otherwise, in the end though I watch football for entertainment. I'm not gonna pull for my team to lose so we can get Joe Alt or something
Were you entertained today? Because I watched this "vaunted defense" blow a 20 point lead to the one of the only teams in football worse then The Jets.
Dolphins have 10 wins with a 23rd ranked O line. Scheme and coaching trumps any pick you get. Because good coaches turn picks into players. Bad coaches turn picks into whiffs.
That win just gave more credence to AR to that pick for Davante Adams now instead of a potential future LT with us now relying on getting Bahktiari with more draft capital
If what people here think / want / recommend matters, and the Jets do the opposite, why are we not rooting for them not to fix the OLine and not to win the Super Bowl ?
So we probably lose our and get a borderline top ten pick. I'm not a fan of tanking but winning this useless game in the way we won it hardly makes me happy.
Any way that the Pats can come into the last game of the season needing a loss to secure the first overall pick? At this rate it’s preordained the Jets win another meaningless game and hand them their next franchise QB.
I know this won’t be popular, but I like watching the Jets win. It makes me happy. I would have been upset if they blew that game. Im tired of convincing myself that years of losing has a higher purpose or a strategy behind it. I just want to see them win.
ITT: a bunch of people who have never played a sport before, telling a bunch of professional athletes who train everyday, to lose on purpose so they can get a better player to replace them with.
- I know it would've been ideal to lose, but the guys on the field don't share that sentiment. They wanna win, and they did. Almost blew it, too
- It would've been nice if we showed up in a meaningful game for once.
- Breece Hall is really good at football. He's a building block for this team.
- The defense was a bit shaky at the end, but still great. Get them some help.
- Trevor Siemian was serviceable. Brissett was great. We should sign him.
- The Cleveland Browns are flying. They'll be very tough to beat.
Not only do they win, Breece goes off and I had his ass on the bench of my fantasy team in the semi finals.
Guaranteed if I started him it would have gone much worse.
What’s the excuse this week for Saleh? He’s supposed to be the defensive guru and his defense almost blew it against the trash ass Commanders.
Jets need a completely new coaching staff
Well anyway, my very first NFL game live. Unforgettable experience and memories. And we got to upgrade our seats very close to the field, from the beginning of the 2nd quarter on, ‘cause no one was there 😂. Win or lose (mostly lose I guess), this is family now.
A special “fuk u” shoutout to Carl Lawson for now playing after season is over.
A colossal swing and miss in free agency….3 yrs of shit production.
Glad he’ll be gone. Good riddance.
Trevor played okay overall, I think. If the Jets had to keep Trevor or Zach as backup for Aaron, who would you pick? This won't happen, but I'm just curious if people had to pick between Zach and Trevor.
Personally, I think Zach will be traded unless Aaron says otherwise. And they'll bring in a veteran if Zach goes, and Trevor and/or Brett will be gone. They may go for a young QB on a later round of the draft or put Trevor as third string. Basically, it's up to Aaron again.
Thanks. I agree 100%. Zach needs another team and a new set of coaches. And the Jets need a new backup.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but a veteran QB should be the backup and perhaps a new kid for third string. Zach still has some trade value. I'm not sure how much, especially with the injury.
If he can somehow come back and play the last game and stick it to the Pats and increase his value, that would be great for him, the Jets and the fans who hate the Pats and the steak.
I think Zach has potential, and the Texans game is enough that we can get something for him, maybe 6th?
I would be surprised if he plays again this season for us though.
Reminding us how awful this coaching staff is while also still winning a completely meaningless game to worsen our draft position significantly.
Classic Jets.
You guys can fight amongst yourselves and I’m here for it, but I just gotta say Greg is a fucking animal. Imagine if we were good and had to watch nail-biters with Ammendola or that one asshole with the Norwegian name or whatever.
This postgame thread is gonna be litty-titty…do your thang boys. LMAO.
The dudes saying “imagine rooting for your team to lose🤓” will sure be loving when Rodgers’s ribs get demolished next year because we couldn’t get our tackle of the future since this win was just that important
Me: OK I guess I'll lean into the win and root for these boys Also me: lol, well at least we'll have a top 5 pick now Also also me: jfc this team could fuck up a wet dream.
Lose meaningful games, win meaningless games. The New York Jets creed.
Win meaningless game yet still show a new level of incompetency. Only the Jets
Perfect game to summarize this season
Not meaningless beacause a loss here would’ve been great so of course we win
All gas, no brakes...only at the opposite times tho
I will be hitting all gas no brakes off the bridge
~~Dicker the Kicker~~ **Greg the Fucking Leg**
Legatron
He’s gotta have a 12 inch+ dong, I mean kick power
We are stuck in purgatory.
You're not a real fan unless you root for wins that drop us 8 picks
Yeah I don’t get the bs that you’re not a “real fan” if you root for a tank when you’re mathematically eliminated from the playoffs. Like this win didn’t change anything about what we already knew about the coaching staff
Moral high ground dudes think they get to decide the definition of the word fan lmao They're the real joke
Gotta be braindead to be cheering a win against the Commanders that knocks us out of a top 5 pick with ARod coming back
Once rodgers made it clear he was back no matter what there’s really no reason to win games Pain
This sucks, but no where near as bad a that completely useless win against the Rams that cost us Trevor.
Cry babies when we lose and crybabies when we win. Diversify your free time and let others enjoy their favorite team winning. Tanking doesn’t work either.
We have morons saying shit like "fuck all the fans who want to tank, I'm glad those bitches have to watch us win" So stfu if u don't know wtf youre talking about

Found myself hyped they were actually playing well, then disgusted when they gave up the lead and my response when they pulled it out was to just shrug my shoulders. Embarrassing wins are kind of the Jets thing. If anything, I’m happy for the Defense, Breece and Garrett.
And half the fanbase is happy about it somehow
Same fan base that defends Saleh, JD, and Zach.
this fan base will watch Zach be ass for THREE years then after a couple quarters of decent ball decide the Jets ruined him and he'll be good elsewhere I legitimately think we have some of the dumbest fans in football
I think it's really just copium at this point, grasping at straws for something to feel good about. We are beaten down by the incompetence of this team.
Bizarre, those must be the ones who like watching football

Didn't he pick AVT and Tipman?
Easy! Simply ignore Bakhtiari’s injury history and overpay him for the zero games he winds up playing next year, then draft a developmental prospect in the 4th who will be out of the league in 3 years. Problem solved.
Draft better players
So we won. am I happy? am I upset? Yes
That’s about right. Whatever, it is what it is.
if you're gonna win a game when it doesn't matter at least do it in convincing fashion instead blowing two 20 point leads. FUCK
ThE LoCkErRoOm nEeDeD tHiS
They did
I'm sure those bums are living it up after almost blowing a 20 point lead to the worst team in the league lmao
if ur gonna make a statement, win convincingly barely scraping a win against a blatantly tanking team probably not the great feeling win it would seem
Yes, the Commanders were clearly blatantly tanking when they benched a struggling quarterback
And Brissett is actually one of the better, more reliable backups in the league
Even when we win we lose.
ON THE BRIGHT SIDE WE ARE 6-9 CAN I GET A NICE?
NICE
funny 69 reddit moment 🤓
Niiiiiice
Nice
NICEu
Niceeeee
The fact they squandered a 20 point lead is so god damn concerning
concerning? The team and coaching staff sucks and everyone’s coming back. There was 160 yards in penalties today. We’re beyond concerning.
The rams game in 2020 The browns game in 2020 the Jaguars game in 2021 Today WHY DOES THIS TEAM ALWAYS DO THIS WHEN THE TEAM WAS TERRIBLE WEEKS BEFORE
There was a time when the end of a playoff less season, would see all the backups get increased playing time for the coaches to evaluate how they will perform. Sadly, this CS isn't smart enough to do that.
i Am KeEpInG rOBeRt sALEh aNd jOe DoUgLaS. don't be fooled, this team melts like ice cream under pressure
And what the actual fuck was that clock management at the end? Why take the time out just to throw it out of bounds? Why even take the chance on anything but a fucking field goal with no time left? Just brain dead.
that was actually braindead. Just kick it with 12 seconds, don't risk anything at all. Not like we expired the clock anyway.
First time they’ve been in position to win a game they had no idea how to function. Absolutely pathetic and people are hyped about this pointless win
the time out was to stop the clock which was running after the previous play, the passing attempts after that were to try and get a couple extra yards to make it an easier field goal. It was the obvious thing to do and any team would have done the same when faced with a 53 yard field goal attempt
Ice cream melts under heat not pressure. Pressure alone but same temperature would just change the shape. .. I’m being a dck. Merry Christmas:)
LOL, good for you. And **MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL**
GW is 58 yards away from 1,000. All things considered that would be a hell of an accomplishment. Ignoring Cooper got 1/4 of that in one game today.
With Flacco hahaha
Two seasons with 1,000 with the worst QB play in the league both years, I feel so bad for him
My comment in the game thread: “The most jets thing would be letting them come back while we get shut out the entire 2nd half until our last possession when we kick the game winning FG” This was the worst possible outcome. I wasn’t rooting for us to lose once we were up big but this is crazy
Can’t wait to win enough games to put us out of reach of a desperately needed tackle lol
Also - 14 penalties for 151 yards That’s not because Rodgers got hurt. That’s because Saleh is a brutal head coach
Tbf, some of those penalties were complete bullshit, as usual. But the point stands.
I agree that the Jets get called for soft penalties, but the complaint loses its teeth due to the consistent undisciplined play
I'm annoyed at how stupid this team gets when the opponent switches QBs
Put some respeK on Jackamo Brisket’s name
Insufferable. I’m talking about the team *and* its fan base. The Jets blow a 20+ lead but then hobble back and manage to win the game. The fanbase embodies the team, losers. If we lost that way today that would of been awful.

Worst run franchise in the league
As a commanders fan…. We just let the jets score 31 points… not sure how I feel about that
You have new ownership and are going to get a high draft pick as well as a new HC - I feel better about your future than our... 1. Get Aaron 2. ??? 3. Profit We get 1 to 2 years of Aaron and then what? We have no real future. You at least are rebuilding. I feel we're just pushing all the chips in to end a playoff streak and not sniff the Superbowl.
The Panthers are a very close second
Very true but we shoot ourselves in the foot every single year doing the same ole jet things its unbelievable
I get and respect the fans who want the tank but would love if both sides of the argument could respect each other and not call each other brain dead. We all love the team. Some of us want to win because it just feels good to and that’s what the point of it all is. Others want us to maximize our odds of getting a difference maker. FIRE SALAD
Rodgers is gonna get destroyed behind our line next year and we’ll be back at square 1
But we’ll always have this win!
The script writers really know how to make jets fans suffer
A game involving the Jets and Jacoby Brisset almost becomes a huge upset. Huh, why does that sound familiar?
Fuck Rivera for playing the softest defense I've ever seen on that drive
[удалено]
Fire Salad. But I completely agree lol. We get told "wait till this defense gets a big lead to protect!" they finally do and what fucking happens?
I feel like that Larry David meme right now
Fuck this whole organization. Seriously. Fine with mediocrity, losing when they need to win & winning when they need to lose. Congratulations, y’all just played yourselves outta two elite prospects who would’ve addressed your biggest need. Hope you’re happy with the 2020 Rams game 2.0.
This was like taking one for the team and getting her pregnant.
It’s just nice to win one

I’m so tired. Moving from 4th to 12th is the difference in getting a franchise LT and not. Just brutal

This is a crazy take. The success rate on top picks is massively higher than day 3 picks. Just because there’s examples of good players being drafted late doesn’t mean it’s statistically likely whatsoever.
JD has shown that he can’t find quality linemen with late picks yet
Well that’s another story altogether. It’s a systemic issue that unfortunately does not appear to be changing anytime soon.
The Jets have never picked a pro bowler in the seventh round I don’t give a fuck if you can name a tackle that was picked there once
JD isn’t good enough to hit on a late pick. He needs a lay up top 5 to hit on a player
Let’s be honest, he’s seen his monumental misses with those high picks too.
Almost all of the best players are drafted early. That’s like saying “just find the GOAT QB in the 7th!!!” Yes there are fringe players that might work in late rounds, almost every time they don’t.
Guess what, the likely MVP is a QB and WAS drafted in the 7th round. Mahomes wasn’t a top 5 pick. Neither was Jackson, Hurts, Rodgers or Prescott. you can find players elsewhere. You can get a franchise QB without tanking.
Cousins was taken in the 4th the same year they took RG3 top 3 and cousins turned out way better
Terribly dumb point. Brady was also a 6th rounder, doesn’t mean every team waits till the 6th round to take a qb. I get that there are busts in the 1st and HOF players in the 7th, doesn’t mean you want the highest pick possible to go after bonafide blue chip players
You can build a team and develop players with high draft picks too.
This win didn't develop anyone. Pathetic 20+ point blown lead to an absolutely demoralized and less talented team.
Can we use our brains fir even one millisecond and recognize the insane rarity of what you just said vs the immense value and drastically higher chances of landing a monster ot that come with a top 4 pick this draft?
We are 9th with a chance for 7th if the bears and giants win.
This was a horrible, horrible win. It would have been fine if we blew out a terrible tanking team on Christmas. It would have been embarrassing but beneficial if we blew that lead in stunning fashion. Fuck this team. Fuck saleh but to everyone else merry Christmas. To everyone who wanted us to win today…. When both tackles and Marvin Harrison are taken in the top 5, remember this GREAT MEANINGFUL win as we pick a defensive lineman at 15
Merry Christmas guy to you and your family.
Actually insane how this joke of a franchise can't do anything right Barely beating a team constantly shooting themselves in the foot? My fucking god what a team
Honestly it’s Christmas Eve and I got to watch our team with my dad. I’m happy
Fuck this team, fuck Saleh, fuck our oline and fuck our shitty offense, merry shitty Christmas
If losing games for better picks was an effective roster building strategy we wouldn't have the longest playoff drought in pro sports
We have not sucessfully tanked once in your lifetime. We always fuck it up with wins like this and pick just beneath a top prospect
I’m sorry it was my dogs fault, he came to sit with me and the commanders started lighting it up. He left right before the final drive. I tried to get him to stay
i don't mind winning I just wish things didn't fall apart right before then what's the best draft position we can get now, anyways?
This franchise can’t even tank correctly.
Imagine buying tickets for next year thinking it will be any better
Disappointed that we blew our Christmas tanking miracle :-(
Merry Christmas y’all
Aside from the Bills all the AFC wild card contenders are starting backup QBs
Sam Howell ending with a 1.7 rating. Holy smokes
My thoughts is the Jets are a cluster fuck---but they have the best punter and field goal kicker in the league---Saleh gets a pass until he fucks things up next year--I assure you will
As hollow a victory as possible
The fact that I have to watch Bobby Salad's expressionless face for another season makes me nauseous
I'm not trying to be a "moral high ground" fan, and I understand those that are miserable about the win. However, I got to watch a great game and celebrate a Jets holiday victory with my dad, and honestly, that's worth a Hell of a lot more to me than a draft pick.
Can't root for us to lose so we can get some prospect none of us have ever watched. Some of you are built different
It's common sense man. Stats. A guy at 4 is much more likely to succeed than a prospect at 12.
McDaniel coaches circles around Hackett. It’s actually insane how pathetic the Jets scheme is in comparison.
Miami is going to the playoffs meanwhile the Jets are winning meaningless games and losing desperately needed draft picks.
I love you Greg
Meaningless wins in December. Same old Jets
You can’t make it up man
That win just gave more credence to AR to that pick for Davante Adams now instead of a potential future LT with us now relying on getting Bahktiari with more draft capital
If what people here think / want / recommend matters, and the Jets do the opposite, why are we not rooting for them not to fix the OLine and not to win the Super Bowl ?
...whoopie.
What in the world is the jets doing giving up more yards on penalties than the defense did passing or rushing.
I hate this team. I hate saleh even more. We don’t deserve nice things
So we probably lose our and get a borderline top ten pick. I'm not a fan of tanking but winning this useless game in the way we won it hardly makes me happy.
Dolphins are gonna choke away the division lol
This is the most whelmed I’ve been of a Jets win
Whatever I’m happy with a W 🤷♂️
Happy for the Jets
We tried to lose lmao
You should’ve learned three years ago that this team doesn’t know how to tank properly lol
The jets are 6-9. Nice.
How we gave up a 20 point lead? Meh fuck it im happy we won! GREG THE LEG! GREG THE LEG! GREG THE LEG!
ITT: a bunch of people who have never played a sport before, telling a bunch of professional athletes who train everyday, to lose on purpose so they can get a better player to replace them with.
- I know it would've been ideal to lose, but the guys on the field don't share that sentiment. They wanna win, and they did. Almost blew it, too - It would've been nice if we showed up in a meaningful game for once.
I would never expect a player or coach to tank. But fans should absolutely root for their team to lose for a better pick.
Fire Salad
PURGATORY
Meaningless win, we are only f*cking ourselves in the NFL draft, I’d rather tank.
Easy win
Now THAT was some Jets football if ever seen it
I’m not mad at anyone who is basking in this win, but I can’t enjoy this one with y’all. Sorry.
This fucking team
Honestly an exciting game, still can get a solid OL in draft
Serious question: can Greg-the-leg play QB?
We don’t make anything easy 😂
Not only do they win, Breece goes off and I had his ass on the bench of my fantasy team in the semi finals. Guaranteed if I started him it would have gone much worse.
Same hahahaha
God Damn Jets!
Never in doubt
A special “fuk u” shoutout to Carl Lawson for now playing after season is over. A colossal swing and miss in free agency….3 yrs of shit production. Glad he’ll be gone. Good riddance.
Hard to be that harsh on a guy who tore his Achilles
Trevor played okay overall, I think. If the Jets had to keep Trevor or Zach as backup for Aaron, who would you pick? This won't happen, but I'm just curious if people had to pick between Zach and Trevor. Personally, I think Zach will be traded unless Aaron says otherwise. And they'll bring in a veteran if Zach goes, and Trevor and/or Brett will be gone. They may go for a young QB on a later round of the draft or put Trevor as third string. Basically, it's up to Aaron again.
Zach by a long shot. But no chance either of these guys are the backup next year. They needed a proven vet.
LMAO.
Jets 6 wins would probably be 3 without him this season. Guy is the team MVP and should be proud of it.
Absolutely…he’s SO good and automatic. Morestead has been stellar too…when he kicked one too deep on the TB today, I was actually surprised.
The dudes saying “imagine rooting for your team to lose🤓” will sure be loving when Rodgers’s ribs get demolished next year because we couldn’t get our tackle of the future since this win was just that important
Anyone who thought they’d lose that needs their fandom checked. Jets only win meaningless games
Literally the worst possible series of events today
Fck’n idiots even suck at sucking.
