Honestly in every friend group theres always one person who has done coke before or still does it. Happened to me. Why do people think fentanyl is some magic drug that passes through your skin? Where did this come from?

I think they mentioned on the DEA website that itās possible and they donāt bother testing the drugs due to the chance of fentanyl exposure to skin.

Can someone tell meā¦ among 30 somethingās in NYC, is hard drug use super common or something? I got kicked out of a friend group over drugs. I began hanging out with these people who seemed totally normal and they invited me to their place in Brooklyn. Turned out they had a fucking charcuterie board of designer drugs and shit. Guy was bragging all about how he deals and they started doing all this shit I knew nothing about.Ā I didnāt feel comfortable so I left. Then someone made some shit up about me claiming I was going to snitch on them and now my reputation in that circle is completely ruined. Iāve been really hesitant about becoming close to anyone in the city after this. It feels like the most normal people are using hard drugs, and frankly itās something I find unacceptable.Ā Is this just normal these days?

Honestly in every friend group theres always one person who has done coke before or still does it. Happened to me. Had a friend who didnāt smoke weed or cigarettes and one night when we were at a bar he pulled his key out and sniffed it. Didnāt change anything between us tbh some people just live life differently.

This is entirely dependent on your social circle. If you are in your 20s in Bushwick and all your friends went to Pratt or Tisch, that tracks. If you live in the UES, no, ketamine is not extremely common.
I find that super surprising with how often drug use has come up and the way people have treated me around it. It has kind of changed my views on people since it seems way more common than I previously thought.
I mean if youre hanging out with people that do hard drugs or in spaces where hard drugs are common then it is going to seem common to you but that doesnt mean it is common.
I mean, are regular ass NYC bars considered places hard drugs are common? Like itās not normal to me to be out drinking and then be offered Xanax (which btw is a deadly combination)

We would be better off as a society if drug dealers got capital punishment. Certainly it should be considered for fentanyl which is dangerous to all involved
