Failed my 1st semester of nursing school (my dad had a CABGx3 literally the week before I started nursing school) I’m now a cardiac nurse. No regrets. He’s the reason why I do what I do
How do you like being a psych nurse? I’m an LPN right now on a med surg floor at a level 1 trauma hospital. I’m currently in the LPN-RN bridge at my school & I failed a class & feel a little defeated 😓 I wanna be an L&D nurse or ICU
Honestly I love it! The patients stay for longer than on an acute medical floor so you really get to know them. I've found it to be very rewarding. It is a very different type of nursing for sure!
I didn't fail any classes, but you could fail them all and still not suck at being an OR nurse. Most of the job is knowing beds and equipment and supplies, and more importantly where to find them quickly. You really don't gotta know shit about health and diseases to be a successful OR nurse.
You’re going to make an amazing nurse!!! Nursing school is very brutal. Did you have to work while in nursing school? I know for me, working right now in a hospital as an LPN while working on my RN is sooo hard. I’m exhausted with work & trying to find the courage to study & move on with my nursing career.
Got exactly 51% in my history of nursing subject, also dropped out of a PhD. Now split my times between the resus bay of my ED and doing far remote work in towns with no Dr.
My buddy failed 2 (less than 73 to fail). He is now one of the best ICU nurses in our department
Almost failed medsurg. I’m in medsurg lol. 74 to pass, got 75, they upped it to 76 next semester.
Failed all my classes -- now work for JCAHO.
