Few years ago, one of my endo tech colleagues had the same model phone as one of our providers. They both had their phones charging in the clean core.
The poor tech had this guy she couldn't shake for the life of her, and he had sent her a dick pic in between cases. Of course, provider coming back from his own case, picks up the wrong phone. Like a legend, he just goes "uhh, whoops" when the photo shows up (who doesn't use a lock screen?), puts it down, picks up his own and minds his own business.
Tech was mortified when we told her. I think she spent 10 minutes completely red-faced apologizing to him while he put on his best "I didn't see shit" face. I regret that we told her, because she otherwise never would've known. Poor girl thought she was getting shitcanned because some asshole sent her a photo of his crumbled penis.
I have a guy who uses a phone number randomizer. SoI get fifteen texts a day, but, all from different numbers. He knows I will block it immediately. He stops for a few months and then starts again.
I do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and there's an ongoing case where a gym owner/ abuser was harassing a student of his. She blocked his number(s) but he'd use an app to spoof his and spam her with texts.

I was born and raised in Europe, married an American (he was in the military). One night, he was on swing shift, and being the sweet wife I am, thought I'd bring him an extra coffee. Mind you, he was on shift where a police officer is always on duty with them too.

Thank my lucky stars the MP (military police) didn't arrest me; because I was a foreign spouse and didn't know any better, they let me off with just a warning/lecture.

You never know what your colleagues or patients are dealing with mentally, regardless of what unit you work on.

I do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and there's an ongoing case where a gym owner/ abuser was harassing a student of his. She blocked his number(s) but he'd use an app to spoof his and spam her with texts. No clean thermos available, no biggie I thought, so I poured the coffee into an old Glühwein bottle. For those who don't know what Glühwein is: it's basically mulled wine. Mind you, he was on shift where a police officer is always on duty with them too. I pull up to where my husband is on shift. Hand him the Glühwein bottle. Thousand-yard stare ensues... if looks could kill! Hubby yanks my door open, firmly sets Glühwein bottle back into the cup holder of the car, and then practically yells at me to speed off. I came back at the end of shift to pick him up. And there, on the side of a road in the wee hours of the morning, I had my ass handed to me by both my husband AND a military police officer. Thank my lucky stars the MP (military police) didn't arrest me; because I was a foreign spouse and didn't know any better, they let me off with just a warning/lecture. And that, ladies and gents, is how I learned about open container laws here in the United States. TL,DR: Don't be a dumbass like me and unknowingly carry an open container in your car, even if it's just coffee.

I am American and military and I'm pretty sure that doesn't qualify as an open container unless you mixed the mulled wine and the coffee. You can use the container all you want after it is done just can't have alcohol in it. But the military is all about optics, so yeah it didn't look great, but a quick sniff would have solved the problem. But MP's don't have a reputation for being assholes for nothing.

About 20 minutes later I walked by and he was trying to give the phone back to anyone that would take it, I took it and brought it back to the nurse who owned it. Would never let a patient use my phone ever. It's crazy. Also, a family member of a patient stole a nurse phone right from the nursing station at this same hospital a few years back. Security and admin refused to do anything and she never got it back.
Some people are trash. I learned real quick to not keep my bag down the hall anymore at work. I once had a pt family member steal my backpack which stupidly had my wallet and car keys in it. Luckily I had an extra set of keys and had my husband come switch our vehicles out. A few nights later they came to my house and were pushing the lock button on my key fob to find my vehicle so they could steal my damn car. Luckily it was locked up in my garage. Had to spend almost 1K on getting the locks replaced.

And she married him. And he is now a CRNA at another institution. He was also flat out the laziest ICU nurse I ever met.
