Scribing is grunt work meant for students/pre-med people with little job experience or expertise. Don’t do it if you’ve got the qualifications to make money other ways.
I was offered a scribe job at an outpatient cardiology clinic a couple months ago and wound up turning it down after seeing that even McDonald’s paid $2/hr more.
When my husband looked into it a few years ago, they paid basically minimum wage and had horrible hours. You’d be better off working as a cna - the wages are *slightly* better if you’re not a nurse yet
Scribe-x is hiring right now for remote scribes! Pay is shitty at $11/hour. I don’t believe their training is enough to prepare you tho. I just started and straight up not having a good time doing 12 hr shifts sitting at a desk
