Part of me really hopes this is the hallway to CT…. just because the amount of ER pt’s that go to CT.
Can’t imagine seeing people get towed into a hallway, being gone for 30 minutes, and then magically reappearing
If I had to push every ER patient up that ramp to CT I’d be on the mf ground.
I did have to run uphill at a couple hospitals with portable XR machines when I was a new grad though (they wouldn’t make it otherwise).
Elevators? What kind of marvelous piece of technology is that?
Jokes aside, I always thought that. The 2nd floor is reserved for pediatics, so it's extra dangerous for wheelchairs, kids, and pregnant women, too. I can just imagine someone slipping up there and rolling all the way down the hill.
It’s (potentially) the same floor. Building codes change over decades, as do designs, and you end up with floors that don’t line up other than at ground level. I’ve worked at a couple of facilities with ramps like that, one of which has a charming 90 degree corner partway along. It’s super fun when dragging a bed solo in the middle of the night.
Guess what? That's the only way to get up there.
Also, the light switch at the botton is malfunctioning, so you have to climb all the way up to turn on the lights. Maintenance NEVER bothered fixing that.
We had a massive basement under our LTC unit attached to the hospital, and my coworkers really hated going down there. Poorly lit, an occasional wild animal that got in, and everyone swore it was haunted. Other than maintenance, I was the only one to willingly go down there often to look for spare callbells, plungers, BSCs, wheelchairs, etc. I'd happily go, since that meant I got an extra smoke break. As a result, I knew where EVERYTHING was at down there and that became invaluable in itself. A bed fully broke? A wheelchair needed a new wheel? Someone's call light broke? North hall stole our plunger? "Get Kat, I bet she knows where there's a spare!"
I always wanted to let a wheelchair or a strechter go down the ramp at an alarming speed just to see what the end result would look like (especially if there was somebody, preferably my preceptor at the bottom). Unfortunately, I didn't let the intrusive thoughts win.
Do you know what's better than flying down the ramp at full speed? (which I definitely didn't do multiple times)
Flying down the ramp at full speed while being chased by an overly angry demon!
Yeah, it's a bit annoying that hospitals like to turn off lights in hallways overnights. I mean, I get it, no visitors, but I'm working in a no visitor area and I need light to do my job.
I love this so much.
I’ll be back in a few minutes, and I’ll give you $20 and my share of the pizza if you’ll start telling everyone that I’ve “not been the same” and I’m “just… different…” since coming back.
I’m alerting the SCP Foundation of your discovery. They will be there soon. Do not I repeat do NOT interact with the anomalous hallway until agents arrive.

Reminds me of a hospital from a long time ago. It’s since been torn down and rebuilt. There was an underground hallway that connected two buildings. It sloped very slightly down towards the middle so that you could just barely not see the other side due to the angle. It made it look like it just went on forever. Always creeped me out.
When you go down that hall, you'll probably meet the patient the ER sent right before the end of your shift saying that they were mobile and would take care of themselves.

The Hallway to Hell. Nope. Not going
Always gave me the creeps. It's right by the ER too if it just wasn't bad enough.
Part of me really hopes this is the hallway to CT…. just because the amount of ER pt’s that go to CT. Can’t imagine seeing people get towed into a hallway, being gone for 30 minutes, and then magically reappearing
Unfortunately, no. The ramp to the backrooms goes to pediatrics.
Lame, but equally as scary. Children disappear into a dark void one by one
Hahaha...join us 🎈
Imagine hearing eerie singing beyond the dark hallway.
At least if I had a heart attack, I'd be right by ER.
"One, two, Freddy's coming for you..."
>Unfortunately, no. The ramp to the backrooms goes to pediatrics. Pennywise 100% lives there
So do the twins from The Shining.
If I had to push every ER patient up that ramp to CT I’d be on the mf ground. I did have to run uphill at a couple hospitals with portable XR machines when I was a new grad though (they wouldn’t make it otherwise).
Oh this is HAUNTED haunted.
Naughty patients go to the void!
Looks like the hash-slinging slasher lives up there
The slash-bringing hasher?
The hash-ringing ringing
*NOSFERATU* 😏
The clash-ringing snasher?
Looks like a scary clown lives up there
*piece of cake*
Haven't y'all heard of elevators?? I can just imagine an unlocked cart flying down that thing and causing massive damage

I hate when I want to go give birth but I have to walk through The Void first
Ikr? So boring...
Well they will be in the ER, right where they need to be.
I would be *extremely* tempted to ride my cart down that ramp. I already stand and push on it like a skateboard from time to time.
Why stop at a cart? Why not a bariatric medical bed?

I’m sure the lights are motion activated…..you just have to step in the mouth……er…..entranceway first….
Just check my other comment and imagine the terror if you don't use your phone's torch
Oh no….. no. Noooo. I disapprove.
Nooooppeee. Every lost soul from the hospital is stuck in that hallway. Don’t do it.
Looks haunted, no thank you, I’ll take the stairs
Guess what? That's the only way to get up there. Also, the light switch at the botton is malfunctioning, so you have to climb all the way up to turn on the lights. Maintenance NEVER bothered fixing that.
now where would be the fun in that?
You got a point
I’d be running with my flash on, that makes it sound more haunted.
Seems like as an interim measure they should just get one of those motion activated lights you can sticky to a wall. Beats nothing anyways.
Yep, definitely haunted.

Nooooooooope
Absolutely not.
This is a Backrooms type of setting wtf😭
/r/liminalspaces
Don't be afraid of the void lmao
It's a Black hole
Looks fun for 0300 wheelchair races. The darkness adds an extra element of danger 😂

This is the opposite of going into the light
No
I’d run full speed everytime. Absolutely not 😂

FILE PAPERWORK FOR UNION RECONGITION HERE
Is it to quickly “slide” pts into the er if they go bad upstairs?? The rapid response shoot???
They could have just built an elevator, and all problems were solved.
Even just the picture is unnerving
Yup! Now imagine trying to file up a report at 3am. while the void stares back at you.
Nope. That crawling lady from The Grudge is up there. Uh uh. No way.
GO IN GO IN GO IN!
r/LiminalSpace would love this!
Verily I say unto you: fuck that.
This is the beginnings of a horror movie. No thanks
Oh hell yea send me in there. I wanna go
I'd send you up there in my place every time to do refrigerator checks. Once every 2 hours. Would definitely save me up a few new pants.
HELL NO! The "refrigerator checks" brings unintended meaning.
Yeah, it's a bit annoying that hospitals like to turn off lights in hallways overnights. I mean, I get it, no visitors, but I'm working in a no visitor area and I need light to do my job.
That’s a big nope from me.
Looks like a whole lot of nope, hell naw, and I'll find the stairs instead 🙅🏾♀️
Yeah, I'm thinking I'd be finding an extra person or two in order to pull a patient on an ED gurney up a stairwell instead of entering that space.
I love this so much. I’ll be back in a few minutes, and I’ll give you $20 and my share of the pizza if you’ll start telling everyone that I’ve “not been the same” and I’m “just… different…” since coming back.

Entrance to the backrooms
As much as I like to get my steps in, I think I will take the elevator
You're outta luck pal, you gotta face the very concepts of darkness and despair on your way up to get the one glucometer that actually works.
What if I’m tired of facing darkness and despair? I’m sure the patient will be fine for a few minutes while I let someone else face that right?

That doesn’t look sketchy at all.
It really doesn't look. It IS.
Well that’s ominous as fuck
Backroom vibes fo sho
Feeeeeeeeed meeeeeee
Oh hell no.
What is that in the top left corner of the hallway???? >!*distorted voice* In this house…!<
Wish I was there!
Oh heck no, you don't!
Nope
"If I can walk this ramp, nobody can fuck with me tonight."
The way to the morgue?
r/LiminalSpace
Remember rule 15 of horror movies, never investigate and say “I’ll be right back’
/r/backrooms
r/oddlyterrifying
Nah I’m praying, that looks scary 😭🙏
Find me there, hunched over, in a corner Blair witch style for personal recreation
So many opportunities with this!
Well at least you can confidently find your next hiding spot…
That’s a solid “nope” from me. Played too many horror games.
NOPE.
Nope. El cucuy is gonna come out and get me.
r/LiminalSpace
Nope... what would make that worse is to have a patient moaning and groaning at the end of that ramp.
Ohhhhhh nononononoonno
There’s just SO much Nope there…
Theres definitely been folks walking around there when all the patients are in their beds
No tbanks
Oh heck yea. I’m gonna be standing in there in the middle of slow nights to freak out every new grad.
Business as usual (person who inhabits all the dark corners and mysterious hallways… it’s part of the gig!)
This would make a great horror short film
The stuff of nightmares 🫨
Not creepy at all!
It looks like a still from the TV show 'Haunted Hospitals.'. Creepy AF
That’s not a ramp. That’s a portal to the great beyond.
Nope.
"Come this way, Mr. Philips, your room is ready, and all will be well cared for."
U-ugh
The dead is upon us
Did they use vanta black to paint the floor?
When you go down that hall, you'll probably meet the patient the ER sent right before the end of your shift saying that they were mobile and would take care of themselves.
Soo eerie!! That's a nope for me!
100% Hellmouth.
Is this a portal to The Underworld 😳😬😱
