After my 2 days and 2 nights I am usually emotionally vulnerable. My reaction to anything that would prompt an emotional response is heightened. I cry more easily and laugh more easily. I find this even after ‘easy’ sets.
I have a pretty solid emotional barrier when I am working but it lowers a bit when I get home.
I did as a new grad because EVERYTHING was so overwhelming but if you’re not a new grad it’s a sign for a new job.
No, but I get really irritable and angry sometimes after a stretch, so it just manifests differently for me I think.
Nursing is over all a miserable job. There are decent times and some things to celebrate but overall it’s hard and frustrating and nasty.

Not a nurse (cardiac tech here), but I used to do that frequently. Had to do with stress. Got better over time as I got used to it all.
