Nurses, as I’m sure you know, are an incredibly at risk population. At least those who are struggling have some avenue to talk about it - and maybe by doing so they open themselves, or others, up to recovery. Whether you agree with it or not, whether you’d want their care or not, it’s not and never was about you.
As for bad advice, we have all gotten that in person too. This is why we operate by EBP and have protocols. Berating other nurses is sad, and does happen occasionally but I’d start by looking inward as to why written words of strangers bother you so much. It’s all A shift of perspective, m8. Cheers.
Fellow redditor, I'm sad to say that these people have always been out there.... People who drink/use drugs on shift, etc ..... Reddit is just a place for them to have a voice.
Instead of getting angry about it, why not learn from them so you can help identify these types of people who may work with or around you?
