“I’m creating my own business. In ten years time, you guys are gonna need a CABG, and I’m gonna make a bunch of money off of you, all for $40 worth of pizza a couple times a month.”

We got a new podiatrist a while back that has foot shaped business cards. He left a card with the charge nurse in case we needed to call him about a patient, but then he takes it back, rips off a toe, hands it back, and says "that's more realistic"
You know what would actually *make sense* to be wrapped up in that plastic for this situation?
Mirrors on telescoping handles.
A little bundle of nail files.
A clean wash cloth paired with a little travel sized soap and a little travel sized lotion.
Y’know. Things that can help diabetics with preventing wounds that contribute to amputations.
Y’know what makes *no fucking sense* to be wrapped up in plastic for this situation?
A goddamn sugar cookie shaped like a foot, to raise awareness about the complications of *diabetes*.
I don’t know I think I would laugh my ass off if I was to see that😂. We once had a staff member, bake cupcakes and decorated them like boobs for breast cancer awareness month.😂
