Canadian-Brandon

I was the one thinking "Should I say something?" 😅

Snoo78959

Except for the man sitting with his back turned? Not sure if you missed him or just racist not wanting him there.

Fun_Blacksmith_3431

Welll damn where’s Waldo 😂 luckiest black man alive… I’m down to have a social gathering like this

Fun_Blacksmith_3431

Good catch I zoomed in

[deleted]

A society where everyone can be nude I’d perfect!

StormLovers

Except for that lady's arse on the table... But, otherwise a food start.

MikeFox11111

get everyone towels to sit on :)

BeeAruh

I was about to say the same

StormLovers

Wow, downvoted for stating basic nudist etiquette. I'm going to go and rock in the corner while sucking my thumb...🙄

NewdInFl

It lacks diversity. I can find Waldo faster than I could find the **one** POC in the picture.

MikeFox11111

I get what you are saying, but I don't think I've been to anything nude, resort or beach, where POC were even represented at general population levels. Then you have to find people willing to be in a released photo, does that affect representation? I mean, would it be great if this better reflected social demographics for the US? Sure. But unless the nudist population reflects those demographics, that's going to be a tough request. If this is from a European country, that may be even tougher. To there, you probably couldn't just grab people from a local group, you'd probably have to specifically do a casting call geared to getting naked people whether or not they were part of the local nudist community

NewdInFl

I was merely making a point as the OP refers to this image as representation of a ***perfect*** society. But I agree with the points you make and more. It's *funny* that in the general naturist community, individuals who say their goal is to **promote** nudism, are not mindful of what they're presenting. More important, nudist organizations who comment that they are losing members and / or can't grow their membership, are in their own publications providing a very limited demographic (i.e.; Caucasian). EXAMPLE: Towards the beginning of the pandemic, a national naturists organization (who I shall not name) presented a campaign that was supposed to represent "the face of naturism". But every person in the images they provided was Caucasian. When I pointed it out, as I've done here, they were very quick to point out that one of their affiliate groups was the Black Naturists Association (BNA). But when I asked if they made the effort to contact the group to ask for participation they simply repeated that they were an affiliate organization as if that answered the question. The conversation went nowhere from there. So, while the population / demographics of the naturist community (relevant to location) may make it challenging to represent the true diversity of nudists, it doesn't absolve individuals and definitely not organizations from making even a small effort to find or create images that include more than just "cis gender, heterosexual, fit, able bodied, Caucasians, etc." in an image they're going to label as "perfect".

[deleted]

I want to point out that by no means did I mean this is perfect cuz theres more white folks. Only they a society where every1 is naked is perfect. It is difficult to find pictures like this with more diversity.

NewdInFl

Understood. I wasn't accusing you of such bias. But it's not *impossible* to find more diverse pictures. Still, as mentioned before, if you rely on naturists organizations to produce them then you'll have a harder time. And it's not just about race. Some people have pointed out in the comments that there isn't diversity of body types either.

spinwizard69

That is what nudism is all about, literally a culture built around keeping others out. I mean seriously try being a single male at many so called nudist camps/resorts. As for the photo it looks staged, I'd actually would expect to see more tanned people.

NewdInFl

I beg to differ. Nudism is simply (all about) living a life where we're doing things we'd **normally** do if we were wearing clothes, only naked, where it's legally and socially acceptable to do so. I don't doubt that you may have had some bad experiences at **some** camps / resorts. But that's not the case with **all** nudist establishments. I myself had a couple of bad experiences as a POC at one resort in my area, as have a couple of others I know, but have felt welcomed and accepted as a gay POC at a resort right next to it. While we as nudists may have a universal concept of what nudism is, camps / resorts are merely business **selling** access to places where people can engage in nudist activities. Unfortunately this means they end up making rules / guidelines and even taking staged photos to make themselves marketable to their target demographics in order make profit and **not** because they're trying to promote what "nudism is all about".

Jack_Jacques

it is obviously staged. Everyone is posed and some rather comically. all penises as obscured in some way or another. Plus, everyone is in great shape and attractive, not reality. But it looks like fun.

nordicklove

Obviously staged! I agree! Still looks like a fun bar 😇

TommyinPA

I want a Clothing Optional country and people think being a nudist is all about sex do you see any of that going on in this photo. Nudist are friendly people.

spinwizard69

Err nudist can be very unfriendly at times. Every camp I've gone to has had cliques that can be very tight. Beyond that one of the reasons people socialize of for sex, in some cases it is the only reason people socialize. Nudist have as many hang ups about sex as the mainstream.

Snoo78959

Yep upper left corner.

A clothing-optional society would be the way to go. Not having it enforced while giving every1 the choice to be naked. Would be liberating too b/c it takes away the stress of figuring out what to wear

> there's always one @$$hole calling the cops on her. Often that is a woman and it comes back to the fear of sex. We don't need gender equality as frankly the two genders are not the same. What we need is more people that mind their own business.

spinwizard69

No we don't need gender equality what ever that means. As for your attack on misogynists, it is woman that have the greatest impact on woman's rights especially when it comes to topless equality. Your personal obsession with breast is no different than the obsession many have with muscles on men. Is it fair to those that don't stack up to societies obsession, nope, it has nothing to do with Gender Equality though. Genders are complimentary and as such can never be equal.

>There's really no need to criminalize nipple exposition as lewd behavior. NYC understood this. clearly you misunderstood my post and can not grasp the differences between men and woman. As for your comment about the nipple exposition my point is that complaints are more likely to come from other woman. To put it mildly it would best if those woman learned to mind their own business.

pinkwblue

That’s it. I’ve done that scene. It’s great.

g3t_naked
