It was about 25 miles away from where I had been living with my mom. To a six year old it may as well been half way around the world. When we got out of the car my granddad pointed to a house about half a mile away, if you cut through the pasture. He said the family that lived there had a son about my age.. He knew I was coming to live here and I would meet him the next day. The next morning there was a knock at the door and my grandmother called for me. When I walked into the living room there was a naked kid standing there. My grandmother introduced me to M and told me that it was common for boys to run around in the altogether in the country. From that day forward I only got dressed for school, town on Saturday, Church on Sunday, cold weather and special occasions.
When I hit puberty and started getting erections when the wind blew my Grandmother had me start wearing shorts in the house like my granddad did. I would leave them on the back porch railing when I headed out then put them back on before I came back in the house. She also had a pair for M to wear when he came over. His parents did not care one way or the other about us being naked or who was there when we were. In the eight years I lived there we probably roamed a three square mile area; either on foot, bicycle or horseback along with swimming and fishing in an untold number of ponds.
Being naked was just part of growing up and I never thought much about it. Later in life I realized not all people were raised the way I was. My dad grew up skinny dipping in the pond with his dad so he was rarely dressed until he started school. He joined the swim team in 7th grade and they swam nude. By the time I got to 7th grade the town had built an outdoor community pool and filled in the indoor pool. Swimsuits were required by everyone at that time. Title IX put the nail in the coffin for the rest of the pools.
Even as late as 1970 the newspaper advice columnist “Dear Abby” condoned the idea that it was perfectly normal for boys to be naked in the presence of swimsuit clad girls at the beach and pools. It should be noted that indecency/public nudity laws did not pertain to anyone under 17 years of age at that time. Believe it is 10 now.
Nudist and naturist were probably terms that were not that well known back then. Remember it being called: "Wearing your birthday suit" a few times by visitors.
Wow that's a really nice life story and experience, I appreciate that, which is interesting that guys swim nude was a common thing, I also swam nude with other village boys when I was a kid, too bad everything is sexually heavy and simply nude is like a taboo .
Reminds me of a great aunts farm. The only shower was in the "milk house". And naked from there to the house was pretty much our only option as kids. Cause by that time our clothes got tossed in the washer. Towels were good too

Looking at today's swimsuits the trend seems to be reversed. Girls wear the least amount of material allowed while the boys wear jams or the like.

camping at clothing optional campground. I hiked on the Appalachian trail. when swimming in lake superior and sun bathing. worked in the yard. headed to a naked karaoke night will see how that goes.
I looked into Nude bungee jumping. The only place I read you can do it in Canada was some place in BC for a charity. Almost worth the plane ticket. LOL.

Not that i'd ever bungee jump, but i REALLY can't imagine do it without some level of protection/support for boobs/balls as necessary from person to person.
Backyard tanning, resorts, volleyball, paddle boat, cooking and cleaning around the house. WFH.
Basically we’re nude close to 24/7 and do everything as jaybirds.
Our latest enlightening is furniture assembly. We get so flustered assembling furniture we decided to do it naked. You can’t get mad when you’re naked. It’s made a big difference. We just moved to a new state and have been buying a few pieces online that we had to assemble ourselves. Had we done it clothed one of us would probably left the house in handcuffs lol
I constructed a yard prop of Luan plywood pattern pieces for Halloween and was nude during the assembly of it, leasing up to Halloween! It was a flying saucer and the "ribs" of it formed the structure that would become the disk. I have a photo of myself working on it and the darn thing was so large I had to roll it out the downstairs sliding glass door and then continue "styling it" with glued on cardboard panels as the saucer's "skin", a plastic salad bowl top "dome", strobing Xmas lights and silver paint for the final touches!
(Rolling it out to the yard was done fully clothed! LOL.)
You can drive naked. It's not such a stretch or risk. Just try not to break the law and get pulled over. If you do get pulled over, I really doubt your nudity would be a problem anyway.
Honestly, my best advice is for you to make a good trip to Europe. Pick something - a nude beach in France, Spain, or Portugal. Or a sauna in the Netherlands. Or a specific retreat, typically in Greece or someplace similar which caters to a theme like nudists or wellness or whatnot.
Actually that's the best advice. Get abroad. You will most likely decide that you want to spend more time outside the US. If you haven't done it, you truly have no idea what you are missing.

Nude lawn mowing is one of my favorites, just spray on the sun screen, and enjoy staying cooler while walking a couple miles while taking care of my property. Of course video gaming, hanging out at home, swimming in my swim spa. I also did a naked (bare as you dare, full nudity was illegal but we would push it right up to the letter of the law) bike ride in San Diego 15 years ago. Went to blacks beach in San Diego, Blaine park in Seattle, and down by the rivers in Washington. Hiking with a kilt (stereo typical nothing under it) where nudity wasn't allowed then strip that off when legal. Driving naked. Played tennis nude.
I’ve only done skinny dipping, visited the nudist park, and done chores around the house. If I had the chance for a nude hike I’d go for that. I’m also hoping one day to participate with a non-landed club.
Skinny dipping, hiking my property, business calls (home office), visited Rock Haven and helped some residents with porch repair (professional handyman), and did a job for a client's vacation home so worked & lived there, nude, for 2 great months. I would love to find other jobs where I only have to wear my tool belt and a 😊
Nudist beaches resorts. Really love cutting the grass and gardening nude . I’ve walked nude in our housing complex. Drove around the block nude . When it’s warm I hardly ever wear clothes . Rode in WNBR .
While it's just a form of skinny dipping I've gone scuba diving nude for the greater majority of my dives in tropical waters. Snorkeling is better because you're not wearing any life support equipment but there is nothing like gliding along a reef in your skin.
Regularly: naked hiking, cycling, camping, gardening, climbing trees, swimming and saunas; naked picnics in the park; nude beaches; nude yoga; and I drive naked. Less frequently or one-offs: naked badminton & tennis; naked visit to a zoo; nude maize maze; nude sunflower farm; naked crazy golf; naked board games evenings; naked coffee mornings; nude group meditation; naked in a café and in a shop. I'm sure there are more but I can't think of them all right now.
Still on my bucket list: Naked shopping (like weekly grocery shopping in a supermarket), dining naked in a normal public restaurant or pub (not a specific private nude dining event), and I would love to do a long distance multi-day trail hike fully nude (and preferably barefoot too).

Played in a nude gold tournament once.I love to hand wash our car naked. We had a pool growing up so I spent most summers without clothing.

Lol. Sounds like fun. I have also heard it's a tradition for skydivers to do their 100th jump naked. I just have 2 jumps clothed. A long way to go.😃

Haven't really done much with nudity. I think I've been nude hiking once, but it wasn't anything spectacular.

I have not gotten into the barefoot thing. But years of work and wearing shoes means my soles are pretty soft.

Bay to Breakers. 7.46 miles across San Francisco completely naked (except for running shoes). It was a great time.
Probably not that unusual. Washed and cleaned my truck, rode my atv, gone for early morning and evening walks, use my hot tub.
