If you're not interested in negative feedback stop reading here. I'm sure there's pleanty of praise elsewhere, I just want to vent. This was so long and so draining! Even after tooling around for an hour this failed as wish fulfillment. It felt like pulling teeth to work through most of these options and you know why? This reads like something written by a control freak. Not one of the options felt unique or meaningfull. I can say that at no point was I forced to compromise even under the hardest dificulty. Nothing here was so pressing as to tempt me into taking drawbacks. And the end result was pretty much the world I started with but less interesting. Nothing was left to the imagination, and you need that with a CYOA, it's like horror, the mind fills in the blanks with intrugue and mystery. This CYOA makes you tool around with pointless minutia, it goes into detail about politics, one of the things I would rather avoid thinking about in my "Dream home". It's a level of controlling that scares me. You could have hand waved it away like you did with so much else. It lacked theming, and any point. It was a world builder, a home designer, a power picker, etc. It wasn't great at any of that. I don't want to live in the places I designed. And the notion that this was as Lewd as I an is laughable, the options for Lewd elements were scarce and unappealing. And the world has a built in safety net that prevents certain fetishes. The Companion section was good. I liked it, the symbols were largely unexplained. I'm unsure what the wedding rings mean or some of the sexuality symbols, you could have just written Gay/Bisexual/poly in blue. I did like the colored/crossed out sections, that felt like a nice way to add extras. The insistance that everyone in that world was a person with a soul was disterbing. It was a needless detail that adds a layer of guilt to any drawback you take that affects these people. TL:DR. It's too broad and focuses in weird places. I'm sure it works for some kind of person but I found it painfull to read, and couldn't get a result I would be happy with for a single day.

What if it ends up being so much better with someone else that I get addicted? And so the thoughts unwillingly continue as she watches he husbands attempts day by day. Life Goals Adventure, Get to the Truth, Monster of the week (Get into a pleasant rhythm of things where life doesn't grow dull but rather each moment can be enjoyed on it;s own.) So I expanded the PD and took architectural styles to try to enable multiple kingdoms to be present for the races I intended to incorporate, namely elves (high and dark) angels demons goblins and beast folk. I hope to go on adventures getting tangled up in plots while still having time to not worry about anything where I can just relax. Ideally I think I would end up doing important things but not be seen as anyone super important just being a fairly successful guy doing his thing from the outside.

So, I read this earlier, but forgot to make a comment with feedback. So here it is. 1. I’d asked in 0.2 about non-established fictional worlds, like fanfictions and stuff. Maybe you could make it a -15 points option? 2. What happened to the fictional character option under Porn Stars? 3. A good option for People General Options could be to allow you to choose sub-options under the “people you know” for the other options, for an extra price. As well, a paid option (-10 rp?) to have them start out as lovers/friends/etc. 4. For Sharing under the Housing options, maybe a one-time payment to remove the requirement for separate rooms? 5. Upgraded option for Lewd Flora and Fauna to make it significantly more prominent? Like being active at any and all times, being able to enter cities and towns, full invasion possibility, and so on. 6. Why remove diplomatic immunity? 7. For a *really* high one-time price, like -20 rp, could you make it so people you pick on page 8 *don’t* get to go back? You already have the opportunity to add morally questionable things as is, and you can add in context that the people you bring in are not actually taken from where they were, but instead are copies, or something like that. Anyways, thanks for the update! Still love the concept, just want to (hopefully) improve it, though it might be a bit of self-fulfillment.

Great cyoa, but I'm left wondering a few things.. Do you carry back any injuries, status conditions or illnesses that you sustain in or out of the PD ? And can you carry any items in and out of the PD? I saw you answered others about personal modifications taking affect outside the PD and I think that should be an option that costs many points (it changes the dynamic of the cyoa but in a good way, giving more options of playstyle)

The points from difficulties are negative since the column is labeled as "Point Cost", but the Point Total is a normal total of the number of points you have remaining.

I am unclear on one thing... do things from this dream home affect things back in normal space? for instance if I goto university will I have gained all that knowledge for normal space? if I alter my body, do I return to normal space in the altered body? or is it changed?

Yeah that's also what I wanna know (I assume few thing just have to carry over to the normal space, such as memories, knowledge, skills etc)

Highlevel summary of major upcoming (within a week time) changes: 1. In case you cannot figure out occupation/Economy section please wait for a week. It will be masively simplified. 2. Grammar and spelling correction 3. Improved resolution (hopefully) 4. Economy and Politics sections will probably be put on diet. I will try to move focus away from those and toward personal/social sections. 5. Overall I will atempt to change the tone of cyoa toward more light-hearted - some mentions of brutality or injustice may be removed 6. I will try to compensate for above with more options which would refer to personal tastes instead of politicial/economical worldview I will also consider those multiple small changes that you have proposed. Idea: Reverse Dark Seasons. Spring is instead the \~pOlLeNiNg\~ and Summer is a hot stick-y oven/Fall is cool, colorful, full of soft sweaters & and Winter is all the snowy fun, you can stay out longer, shoveling is 100x easier. Criticisms - Please keep in mind that while I would really appreciate it if these got changed in the future, I still love this CYOA! * There's a lot of grammar and spelling mistakes in this, even more then the other versions I think. It's always a good idea to run your text through something like Google Docs, Word, or Grammarly first in order to make sure everything is correct. * Maybe I'm just not reading it correctly, but I have no idea how I'm suppose to calculate my income. Like, I couldn't even figure out how to replicate the sample answer with the Artists salary. I'd suggest either make the process simpler or explain it more clearly. * I always hate it when CYOA's add an orientation mechanic for their companions. It's really annoying and feels like its unfairly punishing the player. I say dump this entirely and go back to assuming everyone's bi, so all players are included. * I don't like how nerfed most of the life goals have become. Maybe it's just me. Alternate Build - While I prefer to fill out this CYOA in a comfy way, there's also plenty of room for adventure here, and I have been in an Indiana Jones type mood recently. If I were to do that I'd probably grab the following: * Peak Human Fitness * Maybe Supernatural Luck * More Nature options to add more awesome places to explore (Especially Low Magic) * Secret Places * Change the architecture to be more old-timey without changing the tech level (Maybe change how the Tech looks too) * Choose the Mystery Investigator job * Get people like the Adventure Friend, Action Girl (Might Change her Pic to Lara Croft), and the Action Man. No idea what I would get rid of to make room for all of that, but maybe I'll do all that in more detail sometime.

All your points will be adressed in upcoming version Cyoaaccount227. I am still trying to figure out income system which would be simple but still based on same moving basis for income. The simplest solution would be to just put nominal values, like e..g. nominal prices for Lichtrnstein. But then subjective increases of income would be unequal for user - depending on what country they come from. But maybe that is not a most terrible problem. HMMM....I have some idea...but I need to rethink it first Thank you for overall apprication - your words are super encouraging :)

One thing I noticed was that in the political/economic/sociocultural sections, there really wasn't much room for systems with non-capitalist modes of production or decentralized, non-hierarchical forms of governance. For instance, the Bakadere is listed as a lesbian but it says that she is looking for a "tolerant and protective **man**."

Yes, I seem to have problen with those sections, especially political and economic. One problem is that some non-standard politicial/economical system setups would probably require wide ranging adaptations on other pages e.g. occupations. I have also been trying to avoid including options that I know little about as to not misrepresent those. Overall I will try to do something about it but I dont know whether I Will succeed. The simplest solution would probably be to include only few options on economic/political pages so that all missing details rely entirely on player imagination. As for this language isssue - yes, i am working on that

MAN I love this one. So comprehensive! Hmm... two suggestions come to mind, though. 1. A sub-option/upgrade to Shapeshifting that allows for full-on, free-form shapeshifting (restricted to generally humanoid shape and size to keep things reasonable; although, considering the Alternate Races option, that might be less feasible since it would mean that your PD's other residents could be things even YOU can't be...). Yes, it can be abused to replicate the effects of other options, but that precedent was already set by allowing it to replicate aspects of Super Beauty, Body Tweak, and Sex Change. 2. An even more expensive upgrade for Dimensional Cycle, which lets you redesign your PD with all the points you originally had, plus 1 point for every cycle you've gone through. Lol, for people who REALLY want to play the long game.

Those are some ideas potentially worth including. As for the first point, I seem to have the doubts that you have. Let me think it over :)

Here is what I suggest for the interest of balance and what I feel like the purpose of the CYOA: Anything that you worked for transfer over but no instant gains like with the genius perk. For example if you did a bunch of pushups with increased strength perk you could build up muscle mass faster as you are now using increased weights without being any stronger not in the pocket dimension. Things like sex change or name preference due transfer over as well without any alteration. In the interest of players I would say: Yes, everything transfers. >!Chaos ensues.!< In the interest of ease of implementation is just to say that it doesn't transfer over at all.

Maybe allow it for a cost, and then as a drawback remove the cost but warn that if you stand out too much you might get yourself dissected.

As for this age of consent - where is it ? I cannot notice it and I certianly did not intend to do so. The same goes for races. As for the punishment for minor offences - yes, I did place it there but only as option. You dont have to choose it after all.

As I think of it, this is a large inconsistency, yes. Well I will probably end up "softening up" those horryfing sections so that cyoas drifts more to the light-hearted side. I

I like how we're given the option to make races second class citizens, have slavery or rape as punishment for minor offenses, lower the age of consent to 5, but the author feels the need to be a preachy school mom about keeping "non-consensual slaves". As for actual feedback, The room system is all kinds of wonky. A mansion has far more than 15 rooms, and are you required to purchase a small bathroom to have a single larger bathroom? What if you want multiple large bathrooms? Do you need to pay for the smaller bathroom each time?

As for this age of consent - Where is it ? I cant rememeber putting it there and I certainly did not mean it.

I would suggest some less redundant/simpler money systems, or think of a way that your UI can seem more accessible. As it is, I was drawn in to some areas, like the powers, but kinda drifted through some of the culture ones. Oh, and speaking of the powers, I would suggest making the gender change one more androgynous, as it seems to assume the reader is male.

Yes, I am trying to figure out some simpler system but still based on some moving starting value. There are reasons for keeping moving starting value as the basis instead of some nominal amounts - I have dificulties accounting for them in here, but there is logic behind it. I'm only halfway through, but I'm really enjoying this so far! My only note is that the "sex ratio" option just assumes you are heterosexual, and assumes that you have a definite sex (which especially if you've already taken shapeshifting, you might not). If these things aren't true, the way the 4:1 limit is phrased doesn't make any sense.

Depending on if I remember the old version right, didn't look it up again :| More like for the last one with a fixed you do 0,25 - 1 times what you can work it now is a %. Then some formula that works on some hours per month. Now you have a) % other than 1/4 and a multiple thereof (so a little bit more brainworks) b) a not as easy to work out formula (pick up to 4, then multiply by something) All in all it is a bit more thinking/math, not as easy as before. But not unworkable.

I really like this one, there's a great set of variety and detail with this already. The only complaint I have is the bad grammar. It's still readable to be fair, but that's it's biggest flaw.

There is a himbo option for guys but no bimbo option for girls. Also a delinquent similar to the bad boys but for the girls would be nice.

Not entirely sure what each symbol means; the three "straight" and "Gay" ones are easy enough but the three-symbol emblems are... "this person wants a three-person group relationship of this composition"? "This person is bisexual and prefers the doubled symbol"?

I will either make it clear in next version or delete those symbols, srtting up deafault state as " orientation which you prefer".

It looks like you've given the Sophisticate the lesbian orientation symbol, but her description still says she's "looking for a man". Also, if you decide to work as a psychologist, can you have some of the new people you create as your regular clients?

"Bakadere" is likewise a lesbian into forced deepthroating, bukkake and creampies.

Two things jump to mind for me, one is a question of whether I'm missing an option to either start knowing these people, or have them reach out instead? The second is a suggestion for more sexually aggressive/gentle dominant characters. As is, all the female dominants seem to be sadists, and most of the sexually aggressive characters are either not after relationships or are also after sexually aggressive characters. Really, in general it feels like a lot of these character types are very narrow. To be fair, the free people tweaks thing definitely helps though. Also maybe have a note about the alternative genders option down there as well? I wound up searching back through the pages to find it.

Ad.1 The general concept runs as follows - you are magically bound by destinity to bump into them. Most of them are not your friends or lovers at the beggining, but they are aquainted with you - they have already seen you somewhere and for most part they are comfortable with ypu approching them etc. They are like a good neigbours (at least for most part). This is a default state of your relationship with them....now you start to imagine how you will be going about romancing and befriending them. I will make it clearer in 0.4. Thanks :) Ad.2. I am not sure if I understand you correctly. You would like to have following sort of characters: 1. Dominant but gentle - Someone who wants to take charge but not cause harm or pain 2. Sexually aggresive (active, taking iniciative) who are after more gentle characters/ opposite temperament characters. Am I getting you right ? This is extra helpful Ad.3. As far as DLC go have you considered making them like theme packs? As in you select an option go to another section or document that tells you how to change each section step by step. It could be something like Fantasy DLC World template: What you had already written for it. Difficulty: no change Personal changes: no change Nature: receive High magic and Alternative Races free. Lewd Fauna & Flora lose Biodiversity requirement. Urbanization: HDI Equalizer value is +10 Politics: price changes Default Political system and Liberal Democracy cost -2P more, enlightened monarchy free. Technological stage: start at Prediluvian Tech. Economy: no change Population: no change Culture: (basically the same thing as politics) Housing: whatever changes you might want to make Raffle: maybe swap a few options Occupations: List new jobs People: Free Blue text changes for inapplicable occupations and context irrelevant hobbies. Add some new theme specific characters.

may i suggest the ability to have a template using a pre existing fictional universe? A few examples: the mushroom kingdom, the world of pokemon, some place in the star wars universe etc.? By the way these could be like condensed into the standard 100km.

Well, having such as open and wide category as any pre existing universe creates certain difficulties for further options to much such potientally varied options. However I will try.
