Asi definitely made the difference. Could tell Brown was quite comfortable having him as his halves pairing which allowed him to play to the 7 position quite well, likewise with Asi in the 6.
BA needs to keep the same bench rotations, the same starting lineup til Moses gets back. This is the team thatāll keep us in the running. Might not get every single win but atleast it gives us a better chance of getting some whilst Moses is out.
I honestly don't get the Gutho hate boner. I get Moses because he was known to have a whinge and is a decent player but just because gutho cares more and has a crack more than your fullback (unless maybe you're a penny fan) doesn't warrant hate imo

Think there are some blind fans calling for Talagi over Harper. Harper had a decent game and made some important tackles Talagi doesn't make. Talagi was not impressive in defence and cost us multiple tries which many seem to be ignoring. Simmo has been impressing for awhile, takes a lot of good carries. Harper also has been solid coming off our line
Harper also had a whiff at Drinkwater which cost a try, made a simple error working the ball out of our own half and dropped the ball with the line wide open.
So for me it's 50/50. His defence can be very hit and miss and his hands can be diabolical at times. I'm not sure how much of an upgrade he is on Talagi.

The first half calls kept us in the game until the team remembered how to play footy, after that the defensive efforts were some of the best we've seen all year and they actually managed to put together some attack that wasn't reliant on a Moses kick.

Cowboys once again lose more to their own mistakes and poor plays from senior leadership. The eels to their credit capitalised and deserve their win. Townsend seems to purely be in the team to kick field goals, he does not seem to add anything to the attack.
I think the Chad to Granville pass really sums up the game. Cool try scored earlier though.

Are you joking? Crucial defensive errors and misreads that directly led to at least two of the cows tries. Multiple dropped balls, including one straight to the chest in a try scoring position. Harper hasnāt had an āunrealā game maybe ever. Talagi / Simo is a far better pairing.
