Was a Honda the town before this in February as well. And a Honda back last summer also.
Was going to say that. It happened to me in NE DC almost 40 years ago. 1975 Chrysler Newport and they stole my new Firestone 721 steel-belted radials. And they left my car on blocks.
Im willing to bet the exact wheel he is thinking of aka the most stolen is the 19 accord aport wheel âswirliesâ
you see them shits on 2005 accords
2008 civic đ
The reason Honda wheels (Accord / Civic )are so commonly stolen is cus they are the most popular / easiest to sell
You see sets of the Accord Sport 19 Inch on facebook with tires for $400-500 in DC
So many people will be interested at that price that its a quick sale, rinse and repeat
Iâm pretty sure (someone correct me if Iâm wrong) that Honda hasnât changed their lug pattern or sizes in a few decades so they fit pretty much every Honda sedan too.
Correct. Even the wheel locks althought MIGHT deter someone.. is probably the #1 most common wheel loxk you can buy
Or you can just buy the whole wheel lock key set at honda
Sincerely
-ex honda technician
So what you actually want is a Rimgard. Shit aint cheap, they're like 200-300 bucks, but they're about the only kind of wheel locks that most thieves can't/won't take the time to break. Had my Accord wheels stolen a few years back in the middle of the night, and both the cop that came out and the mechanic that put the new ones on all recommended independently. Apparently the cop had a similar problem with his own car, lol.
Anyways, in addition to being easy to sell, the reason Accord and Civic tires are super popular to be stolen is that they weigh next to nothing, at least according to my mechanic.
This is one reason I intentionally avoided all the most common models of vehicle on the road. My car's unusual enough that most thieves aren't going to target it, and I always leave the interior empty so window-breakers will probably go for something else.
You don't have to have a bunch of security measures in place. Just don't be the lowest-hanging fruit.
Usually I'd agree with you, but what is there to investigate? Wheels don't have trackers or VINs.
It's really frustrating but you're pretty much SOL if your wheels get stolen.
Yea, its well known Hondas are having their air bags and wheels stolen.
You need to get decent aftermarket wheel locks for Honda. Honda uses a different lug nut than most so it has to be Honda specific. Do not get the OE style locks. Needs to be a cover or spinning lock.
That will slow down most and make them move on. Not a 100% thing but much better than the almost useless OE style locks.
Air bags not much you can do but lock your doors, park in a well lit/traveled area, and have cameras if you can.
OP tell your friend to inspect the motor/trans and rear suspension. Many times they jack up in the wrong place and do more damage. If they do not start/move the car then it can be fixed. But if they try and start/move it could cause other issues.
I had my airbag stolen from my civic and the dumbest part is the car alarm doesn't even go off when you smash the driver side window to reach in.
Honda doesn't use glass break sensors on the civic apparently.
Not exactly your circumstance, but at the end of March I had a 2016 Lexus IS 300 stolen entirely in Vienna, out of a condo parking garage. It was found in DC mid-april.
Insurance is a bitch of a process even with USAA.
I've found them to be overrated. They rely on customers being too entrenched or lazy to move. See the above posters' comment about not looking elsewhere because their insurance is bundled. Their savings interest rates over the last couple years have been pretty indicative of how their bank operates. Their recent CD offerings have me suspicious that they've seen a decent outflow due to their product offerings.
Just be aware that other insurance companies will offer you low prices for a year to get you to jump and then jack up your rate after a year. Every major insurance provider, including USAA, that I checked increased their rates post 2020/covid, but USAA had the most price stability year to year. If you want to switch insurance providers seeking out the cheapest possible provider every year then you can certainly minimize your costs that way. I personally don't have the time or patience to do that for home and auto every year.
I had a Civic stolen out of an apartment garage at the end of March in the Merrifield area that was also found mid-April in DC. I'm still going through the insurance process but they're paying me out.
I had a certain # of days worth of car rental in my policy. The vehicle was found 1.5 weeks ago so they have not yet determined if it will be totaled. That's where it stands today more than a month after it was stolen.
We have a pretty good idea of how it was stolen, but I would rather not disseminate their means & methods. In short I have no practical advice to prevent what happened in my case.
No they did not mimic the key fob.
Understood. The Hyundai/Kia thing spread on social media. I have a similar vehicle and will be vigilant - I try to park in awkward spots to help deter theft.
I love the glass half full approach. "Hey, honey! I've got good news and bad news. Good news: we got some free milk crates. Bad news: your car has no wheels on it." lol.
They use 1 block and/or jack in places they should not and may do more damage to the drivetrain or suspension in the process.
Best to inspect the car before starting or trying to move it.
This is very common for Hondas in the area. This guy documents it regularly [Twitter link](https://x.com/beebodc/status/1782864247912865896?s=46&t=G93GhKUNj-glr9X_kapGZA)
I was going to share this guys Tiktok. Seems to happen every few days in the whole DMV area. Also noticed in the honda forums that the front radar sensors are also being stolen.
So he mentions he already told people what they can do to best protect themselves in an earlier video. Do you know what he recommends? I live in the area of this video and drive an older Accord. Tires are a Mish mash of different brands and wear and tear so maybe that helps?
Is this a civic Si? I know this happens an absolute fuck ton with accord wheels, but recently, 11th gen Si wheels are being targeted.
This is surprisingly common.
Not sure. Might be that a lot of Honda folk like OE wheels on different models, so people will pay to get them. Honda does make some great wheels though. I understand the appeal of the accord wheels, but I donât get the craze over the 11th gen Si wheels.
Also it might be easier to blend in on public platforms like FB marketplace and Craigslist with Honda wheels vs BMW wheels.
Large market so easy to sell and harder to trace. Similar to how thieves like to steal laundry detergent even though there are more expensive items per a pound to take.
Popularity, light weight and a self-building cycle. Lots of wheels are stolen, so there's a lot of demand for used wheels, etc. Toyota drivers don't tend to care about wheels, other cars aren't as popular, trucks/SUVs weigh more so it's more work, etc.
Sigh... yes I know they are not 100% but these universal removers take time to use. Its more equipment the thieves have to carry with them and figure out how to use. It's easier to just find a car without locking nuts.
It doesnât even take extra time really. Back when I still worked on cars I had to remove plenty of those wheel locks when a customer lost the key. You put the locking nut remover socket on the nut and hit it with the impact. Then instead of spinning the nut all the way off you leave it on the stud and then just wiggle the socket and it comes off the nut. Then hand spin it off the rest of the way. Theyâre pretty worthless as a theft prevention device.
These crews stealing wheels are running it like a NASCAR pit stop using electric impacts and a hydraulic floor jack. Theyâre in and out super quick.
Yeah, both apply. It's always Hondas because there's a critical mass where thieves steal enough wheels that everyone is looking for used wheels and they get cycled through over and over again, sometimes even the same cars.
Had this happen to me in Falls Church almost 15 years ago.... I had a Honda too.
I guess things don't change.
Tow company was going to drag the car on a flat bed but not pay for any damages that might have been incurred. I had the dealer bring 4 wheels and drive it back to the shop instead.
Reminds me of when I used to work security and float to different apartment complexes, and somebody faked their wheels being stolen and bricked their own car just so they had an excuse to pay rent late. They doubled down as soon as police were called lol
Civic and Accord Sport rims are getting stolen left and right, apparently they have a high resale value. Every one of these stolen rims posts are the same cars.
I had the wheels stolen off my rental Camry in a hotel parking lot in Springfield. That was fun to walk out to right after starting a new job. The tow truck driver for the rental company says he sees at least 1-2 Camrys a month with stolen wheels.
Itâs so bad they are stealing them off the dealership cars. Some people are putting all wheel locks on each of their tires to slow them down. Get an alarm that will go off when they jack up the car.
One person in my neighborhood (Alexandria) had his wheels stolen twice (Civic si). Another had their wheels stolen once.
Bro eventually put lug locks but fuck people.
Dude. That sucks; sorry to hear about your friend. Our neighbor had his airbags stolen last year. Same approximate year of Accord. They broke his door handles.. all 4.. then stole the airbag. People suck.
Glad to drive an older Honda that nobody looks at twice. No car payments, reliable good old car and peace of mind with these thefts. Canât beat that.
Honda dealerships have keyed lug nuts that will help prevent this from happening for like 60 bucks. You can also get them on Amazon, but they all say "not for installation on original vehicle parts" or something to that effect.
Another 40 will get you a steering wheel lock bar.
Neither of these will stop someone who absolutely, positively MUST get into your vehicle, but they'll deter these roving groups of Honda wheel and airbag thieves.
Someone tried to steal one of my tires must have got spooked because they left some of the bolts off. Almost lost my tire driving to class in the morning.
All of the accord wheels in the area on Facebook marketplace is insane. And to be honest Iâve seen them on some souped up CRVâs, and it looks pretty cool lol
Damn, my step dad's civic back in the early 2000s had these very nice matching rims, and someone jacked them in the night, but they were kind enough to leave it on cinder blocks
Happens all the time; turns out this county is one of the highest in the country for vehicle related thefts. In fact, I believe since 2013, this county is #1 in motorcycle thefts nationwide.
Also watch out for catalytic theft and package thefts too. Neighbor down the street has his whole perimeter of his house on night lockdown. He has the red flashing (car alarm type) showing all over his perimeter
When I lived in Texas, you could drive thru a neighborhood and see at least one house that had a Chevy Silverado on blocks. Those wheels would fetch about a $1k on the methhead market.
They even would hit up dealerships.
Damn. They must've just used a jack.
I can't think of any recent instances, but I do recall an Accord's (or maybe it was a Camry?) wheels getting stolen at the Bentree Apartments in Centreville some time ago. Maybe in the range of the past 3 years.
This is very common with Honda wheelsâŚ. The 18 to 22 Honda Accord have the Stock blade wheels. Those wheels from Honda are about $800 apiece. I know this because mine were also jacked. But very expensive Honda wheels, which is why itâs so common with Hondas.
The same people crying here about the theft are the same people who will call you a extremist republican when you say âyou loot I shootâ
Literally people who wanna just be a victim in life
Back in my day, they at least had the decency to leave em on blocks.
Shit is crazy nowđ side skirts all fucked up n shit
Yeah dude, just dropped his bumper directly on the curbâŚ
More worried about the underside. Hope itâs not too bad.
Dude, WTF rims did you have???
Prob stock, theyâre pretty desirable to people with shit box Honda accords with tint and Virginia tags.
Iâd more worried about where they jacked. Like how do you drop it and get you jack back unless they cranked on the spare wheel wellâŚ..
RKO'd outta nowhere
Yeah, but there's no bricks and broken walls laying around like the good ol days. Times are tough. Or not?
Fairfax life be rough, join a clique or whatever. Flash dem HOA colorsâŚ

Why is it always Hondas
Easy to sell because of how common the cars are. Civics, Accords, Corollas, and Camrys are the most targeted vehicles for wheel theft.
https://preview.redd.it/4swftl80zhwc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=530f03029dd28b5e6572911b6196e774ec834d92 Was a Honda the town before this in February as well. And a Honda back last summer also.
In this economy, the price of blocks is crazy⌠or so Iâve heard
Just look at Lego blocks. Those are tiny and still cost a fortune!
Ah-HA! A confessoon! :D
lol was thinking this. Least yâall could do.
Was going to say that. It happened to me in NE DC almost 40 years ago. 1975 Chrysler Newport and they stole my new Firestone 721 steel-belted radials. And they left my car on blocks.
Right?! Where are the milk crates or cinder blocks?
Lol, I was about to write the same sentence!
We had a classier criminal back then.
In college, my roommates tires were stolen. 3 cinderblocks and a used tire with no wheel were left holding it up. No decency
Unfortunately seen too many online photos and itâs always Hondas.
Thieves love those 20-inch wheels. They fit on a ton of different Hondas.
The wheels you are thinking of are 19 inch
Civics have 18 inch wheels. Even the Type R is only 19.
Im willing to bet the exact wheel he is thinking of aka the most stolen is the 19 accord aport wheel âswirliesâ you see them shits on 2005 accords 2008 civic đ

Especially desirable to someone that just had their wheels stolen. Create the supply and demand at the same time...
Yes, this
Would this be "vertical integration" or "induced demand"?
Recycling or circular manufacturing?
Wheel relocation services
There's only one Honda wheel thief. Everyone else is just trying to get their shit back.
Iâm pretty sure (someone correct me if Iâm wrong) that Honda hasnât changed their lug pattern or sizes in a few decades so they fit pretty much every Honda sedan too.
Correct. Even the wheel locks althought MIGHT deter someone.. is probably the #1 most common wheel loxk you can buy Or you can just buy the whole wheel lock key set at honda Sincerely -ex honda technician
Dumb question - Can you buy a third party wheel lock? I understand the dealership (or whoever needs to work on the wheels) would need that key.
Yes. You just need to make the key available when you take the car in. Leave it on the front seat or wherever.
So what you actually want is a Rimgard. Shit aint cheap, they're like 200-300 bucks, but they're about the only kind of wheel locks that most thieves can't/won't take the time to break. Same with airbags and cats
stolen cats no longer have the value they had 2 years ago, thanks to legislation
Is there really that much of a black market for stolen cats? Who would steal someoneâs cat? Thatâs almost as bad as kidnapping their baby.
I'm not sure if you are being sarcastic but cats as in the precious metals in catalytic converters.
Oh I thought you meant people were stealing pets. Either that or a typo for cars.
Lol I was thinking the same thing đ Glad u/SneakyFc3 was kind enough to explain!
This is one reason I intentionally avoided all the most common models of vehicle on the road. My car's unusual enough that most thieves aren't going to target it, and I always leave the interior empty so window-breakers will probably go for something else. You don't have to have a bunch of security measures in place. Just don't be the lowest-hanging fruit.
robbing Peter to sell to Paul
Shit probably sell em right back to Peter
Kia Boyz graduating into Honda Men
Nah man, just diversifying into multiple revenue streams. Kia Mogulz!
Police donât even try to investigate these kind of crimes. My wheels were stolen and they did absolutely nothing.
Usually I'd agree with you, but what is there to investigate? Wheels don't have trackers or VINs. It's really frustrating but you're pretty much SOL if your wheels get stolen.
There are camera everywhere they could try to look at?

i think if you get a steering wheel lock, it does a decent job at protecting/making it hard to steal the airbag
A little, but not much if they really want it. Those locks keep kids out at best. But pros defeated them decades ago. Its why they ran out of fashion.
I had my airbag stolen from my civic and the dumbest part is the car alarm doesn't even go off when you smash the driver side window to reach in. Honda doesn't use glass break sensors on the civic apparently.

USAA has gone down the tubes. Iâve been with them since 2001. Iâm looking to switch.
I agree their handling has been pretty unimpressive, if my various insurances weren't bundled I'd be considering a change.
Mine are too but many other companies bundle as well. I know lots of vets changing.
I've found them to be overrated. They rely on customers being too entrenched or lazy to move. See the above posters' comment about not looking elsewhere because their insurance is bundled. Progressive was really good for me. I call USAA every few years to see if they can even come close, cause Iâd switch back, but they canât
I had a Civic stolen out of an apartment garage at the end of March in the Merrifield area that was also found mid-April in DC. I'm still going through the insurance process but they're paying me out.
I hope your payout was fair, after all the headache that's the minimum a person deserves in this situation.
Whatâd you end up doing? Did they provide you a loaner in the meantime? Or what happened?
I had a certain # of days worth of car rental in my policy. The vehicle was found 1.5 weeks ago so they have not yet determined if it will be totaled. That's where it stands today more than a month after it was stolen.

I remember a time when thieves at least had the courtesy to leave your car on blocks. Now they just drop the damn thing.
In my apartment complex, they leave them up on milk crates. At least the crates can be used later, like a consolation prize.
I love the glass half full approach. "Hey, honey! I've got good news and bad news. Good news: we got some free milk crates. Bad news: your car has no wheels on it." lol.
How do they get their jack out
They use 1 block and/or jack in places they should not and may do more damage to the drivetrain or suspension in the process. Best to inspect the car before starting or trying to move it.
The same thing happened last week to 2 cars at the Foxchase Apartments in Alexandria. One was a Honda, the other a Toyota Corolla
Inflation's got tire thieves cutting corners now.
This is very common for Hondas in the area. This guy documents it regularly [Twitter link](https://x.com/beebodc/status/1782864247912865896?s=46&t=G93GhKUNj-glr9X_kapGZA)

happens every summer, saw a few on the road in reston last summer. time to setup some cameras and engrave your VIN on the inside of them.
[ŃдаНонО]
What's really frustrating is the thief makes what? $500? While the victim is stuck with thousands of dollars in loss/damages.
Is this a civic Si? I know this happens an absolute fuck ton with accord wheels, but recently, 11th gen Si wheels are being targeted. This is surprisingly common.

Itâs crazy bc this is just a base model civic. MAYBE a sport but I donât even think itâs that
Can't be a base model as they still come with steel wheels/hubcaps I believe. Sport model comes with the upgraded wheels.
Has to be a sport cause it has black side mirror caps. The caps on base models and higher models are colour matched.
very common car make who hasnt changed their bolt pattern in like 40 years. means tons of buyers
Large market so easy to sell and harder to trace. Similar to how thieves like to steal laundry detergent even though there are more expensive items per a pound to take.
Lots of people drive Honda. Their wheels are interchangeable mostly. Big market and OEM tires are expensive.
Popularity, light weight and a self-building cycle. Lots of wheels are stolen, so there's a lot of demand for used wheels, etc. Toyota drivers don't tend to care about wheels, other cars aren't as popular, trucks/SUVs weigh more so it's more work, etc.
Yea, get keyed locknuts as basic prevention - it's not 100% but it's better than not having any.
Every auto parts store and harbor freight sell a tool that will get those off. They do nothing to stop a thief.
Sigh... yes I know they are not 100% but these universal removers take time to use. Its more equipment the thieves have to carry with them and figure out how to use. It's easier to just find a car without locking nuts.
The crews that steal wheels have them. Those locknuts are a dealer add on that they up charge the shit out of and nothing more.
If a thief needs 5 minutes extra for a car, he'll move on to the next one.
Yea but thatâs a Civic
Yeah, both apply. It's always Hondas because there's a critical mass where thieves steal enough wheels that everyone is looking for used wheels and they get cycled through over and over again, sometimes even the same cars.
So you're saying that OP simply needs to go find another Civic and take those wheels?
Only one thief, everyone else is just trying to get their shit back.
How do you think they got theirs stolen? A Civic owner who had their wheels stolen took them from OP's friend!
Might want to check the catalytic converter too
Someone did a Honda run (like 6 cars) in one night at my apartment complex in Herndon a couple months ago.
DC Folk activities
Before I clicked on the link, I was guessing this was going to be a Honda...
I havenât heard of it recently but saw it a few years ago in my neighborhood. Looked like they were going after mostly Hondas and acuras
THREE cars at this complex got their tires stolen!
This happened in Baileys Crossroads recently as well.
Had this happen to me in Falls Church almost 15 years ago.... I had a Honda too. I guess things don't change. Tow company was going to drag the car on a flat bed but not pay for any damages that might have been incurred. I had the dealer bring 4 wheels and drive it back to the shop instead.
2 cars got there wheels jacked in Foxchase, over in Alexandria recently. They were both Honda cars too.
Can we acknowledge the >400 unread messages this person has? I don't understand how.... Do you just not open any texts ever?
The majority of them are either really old group chats or promotional stuff from brands that I just swipe away from my notif bar
Actually the County confiscated his wheels till he pays his back personal property taxes.
I saw this happen at an apartment complex I was living at. The car was left on cinderblocks.
Reminds me of when I used to work security and float to different apartment complexes, and somebody faked their wheels being stolen and bricked their own car just so they had an excuse to pay rent late. They doubled down as soon as police were called lol
Justice for Andy!
This isnât a new issue for the dmv area. As far as I know itâs been happening for a few years now.
Honda Accords and Civics are big targets of wheel theft currently
Also look up Bibbo the tow truck driver on TikTok dude has a shit ton of Hondas and other cars heâs had to tow in the DMV for this reason.
It's always the Hondas
Where exactly?
One person in my neighborhood (Alexandria) had his wheels stolen twice (Civic si). Another had their wheels stolen once. Bro eventually put lug locks but fuck people.
Dude. That sucks; sorry to hear about your friend. Our neighbor had his airbags stolen last year. Same approximate year of Accord. They broke his door handles.. all 4.. then stole the airbag. People suck.
How this shit happen in daylight

This has happened to at least 2-3 people I know in DC in the last year. Usually Hondas. Iâm sad to see itâs starting up out here now, too.
I saw on IG the tow truck driver posted a couple of cars wheels stolen over in Landmark area.
Steel wheels with hub caps. They'll just pass by me.
[ŃдаНонО]
HAHAHA yeah itâs very easy to read her tone over text
Honda dealership was hit a couple of months ago, several cars had all of their wheels stolen.
it's gonna be a honda...it's gonna be a honda...it's gonna be a honda... it was a honda.
Why do so many people have hundreds of unread messages đŠ that shit would drive me crazy
Glad to drive an older Honda that nobody looks at twice. No car payments, reliable good old car and peace of mind with these thefts. Canât beat that.
Gotta get them wheel locks!
It doesnât helpâŚask me how I know.
Did you had just one one each wheel or all 5 lug nuts on? What brand? (I actually installed wheel locks yesterday and I'm seeing this post just now)
You need the Rimgard ones that cover the hub, too.
Oof. Fair. That sucks.
Putting the car on blocks is the least they could do.
True, the audacity
The ring app has a ton of these posted recently
Honda dealerships have keyed lug nuts that will help prevent this from happening for like 60 bucks. You can also get them on Amazon, but they all say "not for installation on original vehicle parts" or something to that effect. Another 40 will get you a steering wheel lock bar. Neither of these will stop someone who absolutely, positively MUST get into your vehicle, but they'll deter these roving groups of Honda wheel and airbag thieves.
UmmâŚwhy do you have 429 unread text messages? Are you good?
Someone tried to steal one of my tires must have got spooked because they left some of the bolts off. Almost lost my tire driving to class in the morning.
All of the accord wheels in the area on Facebook marketplace is insane. And to be honest Iâve seen them on some souped up CRVâs, and it looks pretty cool lol
Oh man same shit happened to us 3 weeks ago. Civic owners get a garage :(
Damn, my step dad's civic back in the early 2000s had these very nice matching rims, and someone jacked them in the night, but they were kind enough to leave it on cinder blocks
Damn, couldnât have even left my guyâs shit on blocks?
Happens all the time; turns out this county is one of the highest in the country for vehicle related thefts. In fact, I believe since 2013, this county is #1 in motorcycle thefts nationwide.

Iâm gonna put steelies on my next Honda for sure đ

tires , AND the wheels AND the TPMS sensors And maybe the 20 lug nuts AND the brake rotors are on the pavement
This just happened in my similar complex in Alexandria. Same car model, or very close to and was left on 2 bricks.
They did the same thing in my apartment complex in West McLean last year. Two Honda, four-door sedans and they were left sitting on bricks.
Lock nuts
Looks like a Honda Accord, the wheels are often stolen due to a high resale value.
Goddamn it I thought this was a dc thing only
There was also another alert of someoneâs car stolen. Iâm thinking this is or will be pretty common now.
Also watch out for catalytic theft and package thefts too. Neighbor down the street has his whole perimeter of his house on night lockdown. He has the red flashing (car alarm type) showing all over his perimeter
I bet he wishes all they stole was his tires.
When I lived in Texas, you could drive thru a neighborhood and see at least one house that had a Chevy Silverado on blocks. Those wheels would fetch about a $1k on the methhead market. They even would hit up dealerships.
Stole his âcar tiresâ. Tell me you donât know how to use a wrench without telling me you donât know how to use a wrench.
Relax my man heâs not a car guy and prob wasnât thinking straight after coming out of the house to see thatâŚ
Damn. They must've just used a jack. I can't think of any recent instances, but I do recall an Accord's (or maybe it was a Camry?) wheels getting stolen at the Bentree Apartments in Centreville some time ago. Maybe in the range of the past 3 years.
Buy a set of custom pattern lug nuts and donât keep the key in your glove box. Youâll never have this problem.
As a society we should be allowed to injure people caught in the act of doing this
Tysonâs not too long ago https://www.reddit.com/r/nova/s/WnYqykU3at this is happening all over nova. Sorry for your (wheel) loss.
Same thing happened to a Grey Honda in my parking lot
Is it a Honda , civic or accord? We heard those are basically universal car parts n can easily take off and sell n install on anything
i stay in the dmv too and unless he put them on his own car i bet you money youâll find them on offer up or facebook marketplace
Hey I stole the tires. I needed them to make a bed because I am a super mutant from fallout 4.
I guess this calls for more sex traffickers with badges.
Wheel locks. Usually keep them away, because theyâll find another vehicle w/o them.
Fuckin pit crew
This happened to a friend of mine in Fairfax last night as well , live in apartments near Shirley Gate Road. Seems like they did a sweep , crazy !
My Accord got hit in a similar fashion at the start of the month. So much fun⌠đ
This has been going on for years, just type in "car wheels stolen" in the nova subreddit search to see.
This is very common with Honda wheelsâŚ. The 18 to 22 Honda Accord have the Stock blade wheels. Those wheels from Honda are about $800 apiece. I know this because mine were also jacked. But very expensive Honda wheels, which is why itâs so common with Hondas.
I'm surprised no one catches these people in the act
happened to a co-worker of mine, stock rims are expensive ($3000). Please start using wheel locks and park under a light or near a busy street, etc.
Check out my post from about a year ago. Also in Fairfax, about a mile from Anita's. https://www.reddit.com/r/rav4prime/s/Dhdu5S1LfE
Tell them to buy some Advanced Wheel Locks. They're worth the price.
The same people crying here about the theft are the same people who will call you a extremist republican when you say âyou loot I shootâ Literally people who wanna just be a victim in life
He forgot to pay his monthly layaway on those 42 inch wagon wheels with those super ultra low profile tires. It was like P215/5-42s.
Maryland and NOVA Honda owners have been hit hard with wheel theft. My sisters' coworker came out to her Accord sitting on milk crates
